One of my favorite small local breweries! They have lots of parking and sometimes opens up some tents with chairs outside when the weather is nice. I've been there many times and the bartenders are always friendly and helpful. I like the fun and relaxing lighting in the brewery. They have two floors each with their own bar and bartenders. I've normally seen the upstairs bar open when it's busy season and during the summer. The beer flavors are light and refreshing. No matter the type of beer I never feel that it's heavy or too filling. They have a little bit everything - pilsners, stouts, sours, shandy and ipas. They offer flights as well. My wife doesn't like beers, but really likes the shandy. It's very family and pet friendly. You can also bring food to eat and snack on. Hidden Sands Brewing Company is definitely a hidden gem in the area! I recently visited for a silent book club meeting & was surprised at how spacious this place is. There's tons of seating on the main floor, but there's also a huge upstairs area. They're the perfect spot for group events & allow outside food since they don't sell any here aside from bagged snacks. Check out their instagram for special dates for food trucks & other events. For beer, they have a wide variety of options & seasonal specials, so there's something for everyone. They also sell nonalcoholic craft sodas. I opted for a beer flight & got to choose my own 4 options. Everything I tried was very nice & I will definitely be back to try out some more. Came to Hidden sands for a birthday party for friend. Matt the owner and his staff were easy to deal with, caring and wanted to ensure everything went smoothly. We had the upstairs party area with the 2nd level bar. The choices of beer were plenty and for a light summer I recommend the lemon sandy and or citrus 107. Both were light, and tasty and a pallet refreshing. The bathrooms are super clean, the entire area is open and airy with plenty of seating ( pets are allowed on leash). They have beer nuts for the patrons at the bars, and a nice selection of clothing, beer glasses and take home growers. The fermentation area is easy to view and also very clean. Hidden Gem! They get water to make there beer from 800 foot well directly below the brewery. The beer tasted amazing I tried basically everything. The bartender Chris was very friendly and polite. We stayed till closing and the owner showed up (John) gave us a private tour and even drove us back to the hotel. They also have an upstairs area to host parties. Unfortunately I don't find their beers to be very good. The service is fine and the place itself is beautiful. But for me the beers are all that matter. We ended the night off here with our family of six after going to Vinyl and Three 3s. Using a fellow Yelpers system of brewery rating, I would give this place five stars. 1) Ambience was five stars. It was a really cool spot that you could explore, and had two different floors to walk around. Was a very fun, open spot. 2) Service was ten out of five stars. The beertenders helping us were so friendly, and gave us ample "samples" (very full) to try various beers. They were just so friendly and explained about the water wells they dig into and how it feeds into their brewery name. I collect brewery stickers (we're from Colorado) and gave them a Denver Beer Co sticker to put in the rafters! 3) Beer was 4 stars. I really enjoyed coming here! The place, as with a lot of breweries, looks like nothing from the outside. In this case you are even wondering if you found the right building if you missed the sign near the road. Going inside you hook around the corner to the main bar area on the first floor and think, "This is a nice place." However, you completely miss the fact that there is an upstairs and a seating area in the back behind the bar as well. The place is spotless (including the bathrooms) and they even have some table games available in the seating area to help you pass the time. Yes, they don't serve real food here, but you can buy some packaged snacks. (Thank the NJ brewery laws for that feature) Their beer is great minus the potato Porter. Man, that one was the first one I ever had to get a replacement for in a sampling flight. Obviously your taste buds might be different from mine on that front. Super friendly service. No, I didn't need to leave my card with them for the open tab. No, I didn't even need to ask for a replacement for the potato Porter when I returned the flight with that one still almost full. EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP: Hidden Sands Brewing Company is another amazing brewery in the great state of NJ and they are only minutes from Atlantic City! We walked into their cozy tasting room with warm colors, TVs on the walls, and tall ceilings and felt right at home. Brie immediately started dancing and attracted the attention of one of the main brewery guys, Mike. He said they love dogs and all friendly, leashed pups are allowed inside. We took a tour and there are 3 other spaces inside to sit and enjoy a beer. It is much bigger than we expected and each area is unique. Over 12 beers on tap and enough variety to make everyone happy. The water used in the beer is tapped from an 800 foot aquifer below the brewery! Nice and fresh. You can bring your own food too! read more

Hand crafted with precision and great taste, I enjoyed 2 flights and a pony (yep, that's a size) I'm always asked what was my favorite and I can't point one out cause I enjoyed them all. Refreshing, flavorful, crisp body and every element of the main ingredients can be taste. Sours, Ales, IPA's, wheat, Kolsch and more, just all fantastic...I know there's 12 beers currently on tap, I had 9... planning on coming back for those last 3 and a few repeats. Yeah, numbers are a thing.... Ha! While there's no food available you can't go wrong with the free popcorn and peanuts that's available for you. I've always hated the term "hidden gem", but this term exactly describes this small brewery. Tucked away off a small road in a small town outside of Atlantic City, the aptly named Hidden Sands has some tasty beers which you can sample in their inside bar area, or outside in the tent area if the weather's nice. The staff is very helpful and offered great recommendations. I think a flight of beer is the way to go so you can sample multiple options. The pilsener was my personal fave but they have a wide variety of styles so you can find something you like. There's even an electric vehicle fast charging station around back so you can charge your EV while you wait. Wish more places would have this! read more

As the likely most frequent patron of Hidden Sands Brewing Company over the past 3 and 1/2 years, I would like to share my experience. The physical facility is exceptional, high tech industrial. The tasting room staff is attentive without being annoying. The management is precise, yet pleasant. And, of course, the beer. The flavor profile at Hidden Sands offers something for everyone. Most of the brews are on the lighter side, not bitter, with a fruit forward component. This is important to me as a frequent guest, since the fruit flavors are what keeps this patron coming back. There are always at least two IPAs on the list for the hop lovers Finally, I like to drink at least two or three pints of the best water around while I enjoy my beer. They have a large array of beers and plenty of beer choices for picky beer drinkers like me who prefer sours and shandys. Ordered their Cranberry beer, and grapefruit beer . The owner here was super friendly and gave us a good history of the place the brewing process and I learned quite a bit about hops and IPA. It's a hidden gem indeed, and their sparkling water (it's free) is awesome. You can bring your own food, so as you can see we got us some banh mi from AC sandwiches not so far from the location. 1 of 5 breweries we visited during a weekend, and by far our favorite. The entire space was impeccably clean. There were "stadium style" decks for seating. There were peanuts at the bar, so we asked if we could bring outside food in (from the car), and we were told "not only is it allowed, it's encouraged." Side note: this was in my drafts - either didn't finish writing or forgot to post it. It was written pre-COVID, so I'm not sure if the food policy has changed. We've only been here once in the last year and got beer to go. We ordered via the website and were able to mix-and-match 4 different draft beers (in Crowler cans) for curbside pick-up. The entire process was incredibly easy and all were delicious as always. We hope to visit again soon. read more

Perfect place to stop to relax and have a drink. Staff was friendly even though my fiancé and I got there forty minutes before closing. Server gave great recommendations so we enjoyed everything we drank. They have a tent and fans which helps accommodate most weather. Thoroughly enjoyed the sours so definitely coming back. A bunch of my regular beer drinking friends heard about Hidden Sands opening up. They had gone before us, and this time we went as a big group. It is definitely a fun place to hang out as a big group. They even have a special events area upstairs. In general, Hidden Sands is a larger and very beautiful facility. It reminds me a lot of Double Nickel Brewery in Pennsauken. They have a couple of separate bar areas that look down onto the beautifully illuminated brewing facility. They really invested a lot into making this place special. It's extremely clean, too. When I got the beers, I was not as impressed as I was with the atmosphere. Something was a little off. My friends tried to like the beers, however, and they recommended the Maple Porter, which I liked a little better. With Tuckahoe Brewing located right down the road, which has a firm grip on the beer brewing technique, Hidden Sands might have to work some of the kinks out with their own beers. I also thought that the bartender could have been a little friendlier. Apparently, you can't have a tab open. No problem. But when it's a new place, not everyone is going to know that, and I certainly don't need to be snapped at. But I didn't say anything and still tipped well. Offers Growler fills. With the summer approaching my beer taste buds crave sweet crisp and refreshing beers. The 3 sours drew me into the Hidden Sands Brewery. The Citrus Burst is 5.0% and tastes just like an orange soda. I could easily drink this beer all summer. The Watermelon Splash is 4.0% and was a very tasty treat! The Sand Blasted Peach Sour is 4.0% and was my favorite because it it was sweet and tart and more sour then the others. read more

I had randomly tried the Strawberry Wheat Beer at Biergarten AC and loved it, so I decided to check out the actual brewery which is only about 20min from Atlantic City. They offer free tours as well as an indoor/outdoor seating area. We opted for the Round Trip (2 beer flights for $15). Strawberry Wheat was definitely the overall favorite ~ one of the top strawberry beers I have ever tried. A notable beer was the 107' IPA as well, but the others weren't anything special. Will return again to sample more beers and purchase a growler of that delicious Strawberry Wheat. This brand new spot is definitely topping my list of local breweries. Went in today, had two flights and enjoyed everything (wheat beers and IPAs ARENT my thing, tried them anyway; good flavors if that's what you're into). High points: The place is huge and beautiful. One of the owners gave us our tour and was present over the course of the evening. We stayed in the downstairs tasting room, where Pam kept beers coming and was friendly. The BEER. My favorite brew today was the Red Head (their Irish red ale). It's a full bodied red ale that is still a nice easy drink; and when the owner heard I loved it, he gave me a little extra and talked to me about the making of it. The maple coffee porter is also excellent. Manages to have all the flavor punch a porter should have, without being filling. The sours are all worth a try, for sure, though my favorite is the regular sour, no fruit added. But the guava sour was an experience you need to try and won't get anywhere else. Over all: COME HERE. Drink local beer, meet local people, and soak in a truly amazing experience. And when you're done? Bring home a growler! We did. read more

Never judge a book by it's cover. Well in this case it is so true. Just came back from a private 30th birthday party and can't tell you how impressed I am with this place. Aside from Miller, Coors or Bud Lite I'm not a reel beer guy. As a matter of fact, if offered, I normally turn down even a taste of small batch beers. Always said if I want fruit in my beer I'll put it in myself. Well there is always an exception and this place has it. A Strawberry Ale that was absolutely delicious. Lots of other beers on tap, but I didn't try them, however others in the party were really enjoying the darker beers. Unfortunately in NJ the brewery can not serve food so the party was catered by a local restaurant. The open room above the bar was perfect for the occasion. Have been to other brewery's in South Jersey and most of them fall short of the small bar homeyness of this place. If your into craft beers this is a place to try. Good beer, good vibes. Nice people, nice patio. I had the watermelon sour and it was reminiscent of a jolly rancher in a glass. The outdoor space is in the parking lot but they have a nice tent and tables.
