We went here on Saturday night to celebrate my niece's 14th birthday. I had went the Wednesday before to reserve two bowling lanes and even prepaid so everything would be ready for Saturday. We arrived around 3:30 for our 4:00 p.m. bowling time. About 10 minutes after starting, someone came by to take our food order. We ordered a gluten-free pizza, two orders of fries, a few appetizers, a pitcher of water, a couple of beers, and a White Claw. About 25 minutes into bowling, we still hadn't received our drinks, not even the water. I understood they were busy, so I didn't say anything at first. However, after 48 minutes with no drinks or food, I finally found a manager and asked about our order. She apologized, and explained they were busy, our drinks arrived about 10 minutes later. Our food finally came out roughly 20 minutes after that -- over an hour after we had ordered. While the manager did extend our bowling time, and give the kids wrist bands it felt like too little, too late. We were extremely disappointed with the service, especially considering the price we paid. We will not be returning anytime soon. read more

My boyfriend and I went on a bowling date to Main Event, normally we love it, but tonight we received less than par service. We chose to do laser tag before, had a significant amount of time in between, we arrived to check into laser tag at least fifteen minutes early, the girl told us to come back five minutes later, so we did, sat and waited and decided it wasn't going to happen and we didn't want to lose our reserved lane so gave up on it. Waste of 20 dollars. We ate before, so we did not expect to order food, but we did want drinks. Typically they will come up to your lane, ask if you want anything. although this time, we bowled at our lane for the one hour out of the 1.5 hours we had, nothing. It got to a point where we had to ask the staff for water. Paying over 100 dollars for this service is downright disappointing. read more

The staff and manager of this location are awesome! I came in with super old gift cards and was afraid they'd no longer be valid even tho they were unused. The staff assisted me and we enjoyed a day at the location! The grounds including the restroom were super clean and well maintained. The food was great and most importantly the staff was super kind, professional and helpful in assisting throughout the day. Beware... if you're not big on noise, chaos and bright lights, this is not the place for you. I'm not and was WAY overstimulated lol but that was my choice. I knew what I was getting myself into! They had no servers, so to order you had to go up to the bartender, which was extremely busy. No specials on drinks , even on football days. We NEVER get service at the bowling alley, they just stand around. Laser tag is every 45 minutes, which used to be back to back before. The computer system went down and they didn't want to serve us anything anymore, so we sat there with water while the employees played shuffle board and drinking... Omg man I haven't been here in such a long time. My mother and I found ourselves trying to kill time before a movie so we ended up coming here. Going over the price structure the bowling is a bit pricey for just the two of us but after looking over the all you can play pass that includes the bowling for $22 that seemed like a better deal so we went with that. We had a blast. Between bowling and all the arcade games it was a lot of fun. They have a large assortment of games in the arcade along with VR, and other activities. Went last week with my boyfriend. It was a weekday and their website offers $20 unlimited pass- well, they did not honor that in person. We paid over $60 for our game tokens (each) which was the "popular" pack. I don't know why they advertise a special on their website when they don't offer it in person. Seems like a rip. We decided not to let that inhibit our good time. However- about every 3rd game we tried to play was broken! Broken headsets, broken guns, 2 player games broken so only one person could play. It was a major let down. We won't be coming back. For the amount of money they're charging at the door (and not honoring their deals) then on top of that, SO many games down? Get real. There was no one to help parents or adults with the climbing/swinging portion- it was just sort of "take your chances" which could be a real safety hazard. I would not take children here- this place is just a few drops from a lawsuit. Little to no staff on the floor for assistance. The laser tag was closed (I'm guessing that was broken too) and more than 1/2 of their VR games were broken or down. We tried to break for food but no one was attending the food station. We stood there long enough that we finally saw someone bring out fries to another couple but he didn't address us at all. There were only two groups of people in the food area- most people were at the bar, so it wasn't like we were hard to miss. As far as cleanliness- yall could do better. NONE of the hand sanitizers were filled, the sanitizing wipes were gone and the staff just reiterated that they were out (no sh*t, Sherlock). But with games (especially the VR) where you are touching some part of the game to your face- SHOULD be disinfected between people. Lots of games ate our tokens and did not even have a sign on them saying they were broken. Staff seemed clueless on how to fix this, a sign would suffice- or re-upping our tokens on our card but they did not offer that. Went to cash in our "tickets" to get some prizes and not only was that area super messy, there were no prices on anything so you had to keep asking "how many tickets is this? And this? What about this?" To a bunch of kids that were way more interested in socializing with each other and on their phones than being at work and helping customers. It took 3 employees to ring up a single person because no one had any idea what was going on. No one had direction or a clear objective to their job, it seemed. I think if every broken game had a sign, then it would be more apparent that they had more broken games than working ones. Highly disappointed and dissatisfied with the whole experience. I'm honestly thinking about coming in with a GoPro and documenting this experience to send it to corporate because, I'm sure if they knew it was this bad, they'd clean up their act real quick. Only a matter of time before someone gets hurt from negligence. Expect to come home with covid because NOTHING is cleaned between players. Save your money, skip Main Event and go to Dave & Busters where games work and so does the staff. EDIT: Thanks for your reply, Justin. Bad experience. We paid for 8 people, 2 lanes, for 2 hours and our lanes broke 3 times. That's a lot of money for stuff not to work on multiple occasions. The employee who helped us had a bad attitude each time like it was our fault their equipment kept breaking. Its frustrating to be treated poorly for no reason. We also couldn't get the bumpers down after multiple tries. Just wasn't the greatest customer service. read more

Bowling, Laser Tag and gravity ropes, plus 2 rounds of adult beverages was what we needed. So much fun that kids were trying to team up with me during Laser Tag (yes, my team scored some pretty high points - girl power!). Please try the gravity ropes if you're able. Didn't see another adult up there except for my party group of 3. Great atmospheric life, not packed, but traffic was arriving around 2p on a Saturday. Nice, helpful staff; bowling attendee (server) waas friendly and service was quick. No isues experienced during setup of bowling or during; just an overall great time I will be visiting again and definitely recommend. read more

I l feel people who rate this place poorly is because they don't visit this location often and base it on one single experience. It's definitely been my to go place with my little ones. Anywhere where arcades is involved expect to pay several bucks for your entertainment. They also have a bar and lots of security presence to keep the staff and customers safe. Too Expensive! !!! I took my 11 & 13 year old grandchildren today 1/5/23. It's morning and the price for 2 children day pass is $54.12 and I spent $23 on snacks. Gravity ropes not available until after 4p and that's the main thing they wanted to do. It is much cheaper to go to a regular bowling alley. Had a good time. Bowling was great. Reserved 3 lanes and younger kids got to bowl without worrying about gutter balls!!! Blees the Main Event...like every business they were short staffed. Staff that there worked their butts off. Food was much better than we expected. Burger and pepperoni pizza plus dynamite wings...good beer and generous wine pour. Invited to another event in July at Main Event. It is a fund raiser for the Uptown Lions Club. Look forward to being there again. Much more to do there. Took my son here last night for his birthday, we had only an okay experience... it started by asking the host for the restaurant if they had enough space for 7 people (they did not which was ok for a Saturday night), they told us we could sit in a closed spot in the dinning room and order food from the pizza place they just didn't have a server that could help us.... again okay I guess (weird only like 3 servers on staff for a Saturday but we went with it. We sat ourselves and went to the pizza place to order food and drinks for our stay... I get to the pizza place at 6:15 where the girl behind the counter tells me oh my shift ended at 6 and my draw is closed so I can't help you, maybe someone else is going to take over... this never happened so no food or drinks for the whole time there... again ok we will leave early and spend that money elsewhere.... paid for their big points deal in the game cards and found that more than 6 games were broken but taking credits off the cards.... so from the loss of points and being starving we ended our trip after only an hour.... will definitely remember this before thinking of returning. read more

We attended a bowling party at the facility so can't comment on all the other things offered other than the bowling. We had a nice time bowling but I think the staff was a bit overwhelmed. Our balls kept getting stuck and sometimes it took awhile to find someone to get them out. To their credit, they gave the party extra time on the lanes to make up for the time we waited for maintenance. The food and drinks were good; reasonably priced; and the wait staff very nice. Things took a bit to get but like everywhere in Albuquerque, they are trying to hire more staff. If you like these kind of places with all the different activities, check it out! Ps. Went in for the first time tonight for a date night after dinner and we were not impressed. First off, no one was enforcing masks at all. A majority of the staff working the desk had them below their chins. That's been the normal around NM lately so it's not too shocking but worth a mention. The main problem is it seems almost every game we played had an issue. During buck hunter, one guns accuracy was so off that you had to shoot way above target- and that's the times it was working. The other gun didn't work at all. The kung Fu panda game had a pad that didn't respond at all. The skiball wouldn't accept our game card even though it had 200+ points (only game we had this problem). A majority of the basketballs were flat and/or had part of the gripped texture ripping off. If it had only been one game we had issues with then it wouldn't matter, but it seemed almost everything we tried had something wrong (except guitar hero- that worked great). We left without using all the points on the card because after 2 hours of disappointment after disappointment it seemed like a better idea to go to Dave&Busters. We didn't anything other than the arcade, but after this I don't really have high hopes. On the positive side, we had a bartender who was nice and efficient when we got 1 beer. read more

Ya know, I have mixed feelings about this place. I mean, it's cool in general for what it is....but man....the staff is soooo lackluster! Lots of flashing lights and noise, of course. This is a safe place tweens & teens could burn a few hours and have fun. We attended a birthday party for a friend, and were assigned a party coordinator who made sure we stayed within the time limit for bowling (there was a long wait on the bowling for those who didn't have a booked party), eating (pizza was subpar, but I guess it was better than a chuck e cheese or peter piper), and on to the lazer tag and video games. Overall, the experience was meh. The music was SO freakin' loud, with mostly pop tunes from the 90's. They seriously need to take it down a few notches on that volume. The staff is completely uninterested in really serving you, just a bunch of teens half heartedly doing their jobs and chatting it up with one another until they see that you've been standing there and then let out an inconvenienced sigh and a slight roll of the eyes as they say "do you need something?" There is a bar area, pool tables, shuffleboard, air hockey (my fav) and a bazillion tvs showing all the games which is great during March Madness. The ropes course was cool. The regular menu looked decent, especially the burger and fish n chips (at least it looked that way in the pictures on the menu LOL). We did sample the nachos and they were tasty. It is nice to have had the opportunity to grab an cocktail, but boo to the fact that there were no local beers offered. The video games are $1.50-$3.50 on average, so, be prepared to burn through some cash unless you take advantage of one of those pricing specials. read more
