My friend and I came to the alice in wonderland interactive immersive experience tea party . the tickets after taxes was $124.40 (for one person) my friend paid hers separately . the menu and tea party itself was really great but lowkey rushed i felt like we only were able to eat ina 3-8 minute window do each section . the food was overall 8:10 the actors were really great ! the service was swift , clean and respectful . the show itself was a 7/10 the mad hatter is the main one talking and trying to get all the viewers hyped and such which is alot on one person he spoke and did everything 95% of the time . he did amazing for everything he had to do ! i would go for a different event but i would say def at least go once for the experience read more

Teatime in Wonderland was overpriced. The Hatter is the only character that interacts w a large group of over 30 people, while the March Hare and the White Rabbit make a brief appearance at the beginning, ushering people in, and aren't seen until the end when the Hatter asks for more money to do pictures. PS read the fine print when purchasing tickets: It clearly states that GRATUITY is INCLUDED with the ticket fees. For two people it's almost $300, and the flare and the food I'm so sorry to say were just not worth it; table displays were cool but once you play with them a bit, it lacks lasting entertainment. The food was themed to a tea service, so you get a couple rounds of tea (in tea bags not loose and the server didn't know what types of tea he was handing out!) plus a small cookie (Eat Me), a small salad, a small size brioche-ish 'bao' cheesy mushroom (shaped not fungus), two small scones, a flight of 4 mini "sandwiches" and lastly a flight of mini desserts at the end. It was not worth over $100, if you figure half the price is food and the other divided between paying the servers and "actors" & the play area. The Hatter's banter wasn't even amusing, scripted or when he was talking to the group...and he spent the majority of the time at the two other tables in the room and barely interacted with ours. Awkwardly did riddles and asked for poetry, so be prepared for at least something to say if he asks you. When they are done, you are invited to stay and play in their interactive play area but there is no one to guide you to it or tell you what to do. We did find someone once inside the space who was willing to show us a few games, but most of the games were not loaded, so there's like 2-3 things per room vs the multiple ones they show on the display screens next to them. There's no explanation on how to do the majority of the games so you have to figure it out. This is just dumb--you waste time trying to figure out whether you understand what you're doing or if the game is even working right. Do wear comfortable shoes because the majority of the games make you run. I'm not showing all the food or the room, so you can be surprised if you go. They might not do the same service for food, but they might. There is no alcohol served w the tea, but they have a bar available outside of the room and also in the play area. This might be more fun if drunk or it might be just as boring. Perhaps if you have a bunch of friends with money to waste, this could be amusing? Our table was BORING AF (was not assigned seating but think long buffet type tables) and I'm not sure why all these 60s+ people were even there, as they definitely didn't stay to play and wasted their money, just sitting there not talking. read more

This was our second time visiting the electric playhouse, and it's always such a fun experience. Our friends were visiting from LA (where we used to live), and they brought their little monsters, oops I mean children, so we thought this would be the perfect place. The best part was the room where the kids get to let their energy all go, throwing the balls to the wall (and sometimes accidentally on each other), it's a nice way for them to get tired , have fun, without hurting themselves or anyone. For older children there are other games where you have to figure out how to play it, like following a puzzle or pattern of lights, etc. There's even one where your body resembles air hockey. For the adults there's lots of alcohol at the bar and cool lights to zone out to while the children have their fun. They even have food there too if you get hungry. The service is excellent and the staff is friendly. I would recommend to anyone if you want your little Ones to have fun, while you're getting a nice head change and break from the usual day to day, bring them here. read more

Highly Disappointing Corporate Event - A Lack of Service and Professionalism We hosted a corporate event at Electric Playhouse this past Wednesday and Thursday, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely lackluster. From the start, it was a disorganized mess. On the first day, our breakfast was over 30 minutes late, and they ran out of food, forcing 16 of our attendees to find lunch elsewhere. The staff was consistently rude and unhelpful, with a clear disconnect between the sales team and the line-level employees--they openly blamed each other for the issues. Our planned happy hour wasn't even set up in the correct location, and the staff's attitude suggested they couldn't care less. A manager was nowhere to be found. Hoping for improvement, we arrived on day two. While breakfast was on time, there was no syrup for the pancakes. When I asked about it, I was met with a dismissive "no there isn't any, I guess I can ask the kitchen." By the time the syrup arrived, our employees were already in their first session. Again, a manager was absent and could not be located. Lunch on the second day was passable and at least there was enough of it, but by then, the damage was done. Based on our two-day experience, I absolutely **do not recommend** hosting any type of private or corporate event here. This place was practically empty on a Saturday night of a holiday weekend. That says a lot. When we (my sister's family of four, and me, the Auntie) walked in the door, a very zoned-out dude at the front desk checked us in, but gave us zero instructions or information. I swear I have the worst luck. The one Sunday I actually had some time to kill and finally made it here. Wouldn't you know they are closed that day. That is always my luck with this place. Every time I've attempted to come it's always closed whether it's for a special event or just a normal closed day. This time around it was a special event smh. I can never seem to get there when they are actually open. It's very disappointing because I've been dealing with this since they reopened after Covid started. I know I'm very busy especially these days and it's rare for me to have some downtime. I understand they are busy as well. I guess I just have sum it all to bad luck. Shocking how rude and unprofessional this venue treated everyone at Pink Pony Circus. The host Sadly Sunshine deserves better!! And thank you to every one that put in hard work for this show. Here's what happened: - $15 tickets - Show started over an hour late - Not notified that theres no re-entry, so when a model (in the show) realized they forgot to lock their car, the staff made things very difficult and forced this grown adult to be walked out to make sure they weren't "pre gaming" - Now as I'm typing the manager is blowing up this ^^^ persons phone over the disagreement - Good security but they ruffled through all the performers/models/guests work bags - Terrible lighting/stage setup for the show and performers - EXPENSIVE DRINKS (I paid $10 for a .5 oz shot of whiskey) - WATER was no where near the bar, and the bartender made rude comments to a designer about it when they ASKED for WATER - Was there supposed to be food? This is a great out of the ordinary date night experience. We attended the Space Cruise Dinner. The staff were great and helpful. It was a fun mix of interesting food pairings, light, motion, sound & story. There is some room for improvement in the production piece (partially open black curtain, inaccurate menu at the table...). Overall it was a good meal and a great date night. I suspect it will only get better over time. After the space Cruise, we were allowed to go into the electric playhouse game area. This was a much appreciated bonus. My husband's company chose this location for their company Christmas party. We were rudely received by the staff serving us and practically forced into a room to eat dinner. If we got up to order our drinks at the bar the waitstaff rolled their eyes, huffed and puffed and threw dirty looks, the bartender was the least friendly person I had ever tried to converse with. The entire staff acted as if they had better places to be. The food and ambience overall were good and fun to be in, you just had to pretend no one worked there. I came here for the grand celebration last night and it was such a blast! I've been to a couple of digital art museums but this one is different. The reason is because everything they have is interactive and a game. I didn't know that everything was a game and you can compete against others, that made it super fun! TLDR: The experience was overall a big letdown and in no way worth over $200 for two people. We did the Winter in Technicolor dining event on its opening night. My partner and I were visiting from out of town and heard Electric Playhouse was a fun place, so decided to make it a dinner date. The entire evening is supposed to be "themed," including the menu and the interactive experience, but it was not cohesive at all. Don't go expecting to feel holiday cheer. The interactive part was wholly lackluster. Each course had a different projection and only 3 of them were interactive, with the same exact effects - run your hand over the table and it moves some pixels around. The only projection that felt anything like winter was the initial snowflakes upon entering - some of the rest were pretty despite not feeling anything like winter, while some were bizarre - like a neon green worm that spread across the walls, with a totally clashing color on the table. The food was actually great, with the prime rib cooked perfectly. Dessert was fantastic. All of the dishes had good flavor and adequate portions. The chef came out afterwards and was very genuine. We spent the extra $20 per person to add on drink pairings and I expected cute cocktails and maybe wine with the main course, but unfortunately it was just two different two-finger pours of wine and one champagne flute of wine. Sometimes the wine didn't even come until after the corresponding course was half finished. We would not have paid the extra $40 to add on the drink pairings if I knew it was a glass and a half of wine. Service was slow, with long pauses in between courses. Courses were brought out 2-3 servings at a time, and often one end of the table had finished their course before the other end was even served. Several of the staff did not seem to have much experience with waiting tables, and it was difficult to get water refills or order drinks (which cost extra), especially during the first half of the evening. There was a lot of in-and-out of the door, which took away from the immersive part of the experience since it was so bright in the lobby. The cherry on top of the experience was the real entertainment - our fellow diners. A couple of rowdy gals came together and said this interactive dinner was boring compared to the other ones they had been to, so they got up and started messing with the projection controls, changing it to Halloween and other random themes. This lasted for about 15 minutes until staff came in, saw what they were doing, and then obliged them by scrolling through the projection library. The last 20 minutes consisted of tombstones, blood splatters, and spiders crawling across the table. Completely changed the tone of the evening. Included gratuity and taxes brought the total to over $200 for two people. We could've had a helluva meal at a super nice restaurant for $200. Also - no one ever answers the phone. I tried calling several times during business hours over the course of two days prior (and also messaged them on Facebook) to see if there was a dress code for the dinner, and it always went straight to voicemail. In case you're wondering, you can wear pretty much whatever you want. Some people were dressed up, others were in a nice shirt and jeans. We did step into the main, general admission area after dinner and played a couple of the games, which was fun. It was nearly empty because they were closing for an event that evening, meaning we also didn't have much time to hang out. Maybe I was ruined by going to Meow Wolf the night before, but there were only 5-6 games and I couldn't imagine coming there when it is busy. This is a review on the GENERAL ADMISSION and their cafe. I did not participate in their "immersive dining experience," but we paid for general admission and got food from their cafe inside. This would be a total 5-star experience but I would not recommend using their Café unless your tired and want to take a load-off or you've got nothing but time. This is a new place and I went within a few days of their post-pandemic opening and I believe the cafe inside WILL eventually work out their "kinks" of being new and assimilate. We ordered a playhouse Cobb salad and a large pizza. The wait service was slow but friendly. The salad was good and appropriate for the price. But then we wait and wait and wait for the pizza, we waited over an hour and was told the kitchen didn't originally receive our pizza order (even though the salad and pizza were ordered at the same time). Very neat concept, but the staff doesn't not help customers in any manner. They hand you an iPad that is broken to sign a waiver and walk away instead of helping you. When you tell them it's your first time they give no directions or guidance. People let their kids run rampant, which is no surprise since there isn't an employee to be found on the inside. They only have one working restroom so plan accordingly if you have more than one kid. All of the activities are dirty and half of them don't even work. Especially since when I tried to reschedule our reservation due to unsafe driving conditions because of the dust storm I was put in an endless loop. I couldn't reschedule online. When I called I could only get through to a recording which told me to leave a message then the inbox was full! There was no way to reschedule. What a fun place for kids and big "kids"!! I went onborevieW night with 8 year old and 16 year old and we all had a great time!! It's not like an amusement park so o the Choi ices of activities aren't like 100 but enough too entertain you for an hour or two for sure. You have too be willing to just get out there and DO the things! It's mostly interactive WITH other people and it's more fun that way. I loved the color mix wall (don't know what it's really called) where you can virtually mix the colors and designs you make with yourr body movement ents in front of the wall without touching it. Wish I could give this place a better rating unfortunately due to the experience we received from the "General manager" ANGIE, we will not be coming back nor recommending this location to anyone we know. On Saturday at 2pm Angie approached me and my family with a rude tone and demeanor as we were feeding one of our toddlers in the front lounge area telling us that there were no food allowed in the facility and walked away. Which was not a problem for us, we simplify did not see the sign. After the initial shock of being spoken to in such a rude and uncalled for manner we felt the need to speak to an employee to let her know that there was a better way for Angie to approach the situation. Angie came back and pulled us out of the game room to tell us again in a condescending manner not to speak to her employee as she was "just doing her job". As I reiterated to Angie that there was a way to approach customers especially as she claimed the role of general manager she continuously cut me off mid sentence telling us, "why do i need to be sorry, there's a sign in the front" (referring to the 8x11.5 printed paper in front of the entrance to the game room). Instead of taking the constructive criticism she walked away from us as we were talking to her. She continued to give my family and I a hard time & dirty looks throughout the entire time we were there. I think this entertainment place was pretty neat but I believe that new management training needs to be absolute PRIORITY for this location. I don't believe in throwing shade, I'm generally a positive dude, but I gotta be straight about this business model, at least for the time being: they need to employ some assistants. I'm not the only person who feels this way; the last time we visited, not kidding, the seven year-old in our party asked the guy at the front desk, "So, is this place fun and stuff?" Dude said, "Well, not really. I don't think so. You should decide for yourself though." The setup feels like a dynamite move. Similar to modern virtual art exhibitions, Electric Playhouse employs digital games to entertain the masses, simple light projection programs that sense bodily movement. Many of these games invite big crowds to join in, and that's where things start breaking down. I've never witnessed an employee assisting in the structure and organizing of these games. For contrast, think of the dodge ball arena at your favorite trampoline park: real, live human beings dictate rules and keep things flowing. At Electric Playhouse, it's a free-for-all, which equates to something of a sh*tshow. Putting some staff on the floor would really help change this.
