She is special needs and they intuitively performed their duties to help her through a frightening situation. Even going above and beyond, they allowed their mother back up to help support her daughter and her decent. These employees can be trusted to ensure the safety of your child as they embark on the exciting and sometimes frightening events like Gravity. I've always gone to Dave-n-Busters and never knew they had competition until I came here. Just like DNB, it's a expensive but they are more geared towards children. I also ate here but never have at DNB so I can't compare, but the food is ehhh. My sister got a salad that looked pretty good while my steak was ehhhh. It's not a bad alternative to DNB if you want a different atmosphere. The pricing is different and the prizes reflect that. I visited this place with my 2 teenage nieces and sister and we all had a great time. Like Dave & Busters you have to purchase a game card that you swipe to play. Games are priced between $1.25 to $3.50 so my $25 card did not get me far. BTW The VR rabbit game is a must play! Games were fun, food was delish and my margarita was surprisingly strong. This place is great for kids! During spring break the ropes course was not open during the day. But it was still a great time!

Can't say enough good things about this place. Went here with family and the kids had a blast. Every employee we encountered was so friendly and helpful and willing to help resolve any issues (e.g. lost game card). The games were fun - kids were able to win more than enough tickets to redeem for their favorite prizes. We also enjoyed bowling, laser tag and the food was tasty and convenient. Main Event is conveniently located off I-90 in between Nagel Road and Route 83. It is next to Cabela's on Chester Road. Parking is plentiful, as there is a large lot right on site. If it gets very busy, parking at Cabela's is also available and is a short walk away. Main Event features 2 restaurants with a variety of options. First, there is a small Italian "street food" restaurant with gelato, drinks, snacks, and typical Italian fare. Additionally, there is a large restaurant similar to a Buffalo Wild Wings. This restaurant features a menu with burgers, wings, salads, and a selection of alcoholic beverages. I wish there were more options for vegans and vegetarians (veggie burger, etc.). There is bar seating, hightop tables, and booths available. There are plenty of large TV's, so I envision the restaurant being busy during the NFL season. As far as the attractions, Main Event features a large bowling alley, a ropes course, and a medium-sized arcade. The bowling alley is nice, but is a little pricey compared to a more traditional style alley. The ropes course is clean and has great variety, and even features a zip-line that does not require a worker! The arcade is nice, and has a good variety of games for families and enthusiasts. Overall, Main Event is a good little spot. The open concept design, variety of the attractions, and (mostly) friendly staff made our experience quite good. The hours are great, and the building is new and clean. Be sure to come on Mondays for a great deal! read more

I was here for a bachelorette party back in July. They hadn't been open long but everyone was super nice! We didn't do everything there though so I can't comment on everything. But, the bartender was so nice, especially to the bride to be. The workers and planners were fantastic and even danced with us in the middle of the floor! We did the bowling which was really fun! This is not a well ran place. Went there for a family outing before dinner. We had about 3.5 hours to spend their before our dinner reservations. We paid for the do it all passes which was a mistake. When we got there and purchased the passes we asked to be put on the list for bowling. Was told it would be about an hour wait, no big deal, after all we had 3.5 hours. 2 hours later we were still waiting. When we asked about the wait we were told it would be another 45 min to hour wait. So the original hour wait is now up to 3 hours with no end in sight. Do NOT go to this place if you want to bowl and there is any kind of crowd there. I spent a small fortune on video games trying to keep my 6 year old occupied for hours waiting. We left without bowling and will never return. read more

At a glance, this place seems incredible. Arcade, bowling, laser tag, and a nice bar to tie to all together for the adults. Once you're inside, you are quickly exposed to the extremely poor management that runs this place. The package deals that include various amenities aren't what they seem, and the managers are very quick to blame their employees for giving false information rather than acknowledging a miscommunication and correcting it accordingly. On the other hand, every single member of the wait staff that my party encountered were very professional and helpful. From our server at the bar, to our server at the bowling alley, and even the gentleman that showed us back to our lane, they were all wonderful. It was only when we had to interact with the management that our experience went south. My party experienced a minor issue with how the perks of our day passes were communicated to us and the management treated the situation as more of a battle over language rather than a discussion about our miscommunication. It was severely unprofessional and a major deterrent from coming back to this place. As great as this place seems and as great as the wait staff are, the sour experience we had with the management will cause us to definitely not consider this place in the future. read more

I came here to play laser tag with friends and one of the workers was EXTREMELY rude to us. She seemed around my age 16/17 years old. She told us that we couldn't run or roll on the ground and if we even came close to walking fast she kicked us out, on top of that it was $9 for one time! We scheduled a corporate event at Main Event for a party of 25. Great choice! We paid to have it catered, the food was great. It was a Mexican themed buffet. Everyone had an amazing time and I can't wait to take my family back. For those sports fans you will love it, because they have large screen televisions over the lanes, so you can watch games or sports center as you are bowling. You start off by entering your team names using a touchscreen kiosk and then you are prompted to take several pictures in varying poses, which I didn't understand at first. However, it ended up being one of my favorite parts of this experience. Once you start bowling funny cartoons pop up on the score screen with everyone's faces on the bodies, it's hysterical! There is an entire area of video games, including some old school game too. Had a wonderful time, will for sure go back. read more

i walked into this place for the first time ever and it was terrible service. the worker at the counter was not nice, was not welcoming. didn't even crack a smile at us. he then proceeded to try to get us to pay $50 for bowling with a waiting list that would push us to the time they would close bowling. i then went to the bar and the girl server was very rude. she lied about the fact my id wasn't accepted here. her drinks absolutely sucked, but not as bad as her customer service. do any of these workers know how to smile? as a first time customer, this was absolutely terrible and i won't be returning. overpriced with bad customer service. very saddening. 0/10 in my experience of being here for 10 mins lol read more

Made a quick visit with my 8 year-old to check this place out on a Tuesday evening around dinner. Place was pretty quiet, and the bartender confirmed that it's been slow up to this point. Well, good for us, as we were able to play a few video games without having to wait. Cool selection of games to choose from; basically, a smaller version of Dave and Busters. We did not try the Laser Tag, but will on the next trip. Food is basically pub grub, with a few nicer options. Didn't eat as we just came for some gaming. Wow this place is fun! Drinks, laser tag, bowling, arcade games! Was very excited to come here. Wait staff was great, food and beverage typical bar food. This review gets a 3/5 because management here still has a few things to learn. You can buy a 30$ 'eat bowl play' pass that includes "unlimited" bowling, laser tag, and an hour of game play in the arcade. Our experience here was great until we waited two hours to bowl, and were told after one hour that our "unlimited" session was over. The manager was not accommodating, and then blamed the mistake on a fellow employee. It's sad that the customer IS NOT always right. We were told that bowling was easily renewed once you had a lane. My brother also broke his tooth in laser tag and they did nothing about it. Very turned off by my experience here and feeling very fooled by false advertisement. Won't be back, try Dave and busters for a better time. If you check all of my previous reviews, I only get on here to review AMAZING businesses with IMPRESSIVE staff. Two stars for cleanliness and fun games, which I've seen at other entertainment facilities. When it takes you a half hour at the front desk to learn how everything works, you know it's a scam. And after that half hour information was still left out (you have to have scheduled times for obstacle course and laser tag). Played with a free half hour card for signing up for email alerts. They don't let you earn tickets with the free half hour so at that point you are teasing your kids. You signed up for bowling but the wait is 1-2 hours. After said wait time, went up to desk to see how it's going and was told, "I told you wait time is 3-3 1/2 hours." No you didn't. If that was the case, we would have left immediately. Manager was nice, but other than that, if I ever saw a business running as a scam, Main Event would be it. I thought Dave and Busters' pricing was steep, but left this place deciding it is a far better option without the stress. read more

If I could leave a half star I would. We had our sons 8th bday party here this weekend. After repeated reassurances from the party planner that their staff would be in complete control of the party, we told all the parents it was a drop off party. Luckily for us not all the parents left bc the 1 staff member that was provided for all the kids had no control over the party. We served the kids their pizza. By the time the kids finally got their drinks they were all done eating. Then we and the parents that stayed had to cut and serve the cake while the staff member stood and watched. The final straw was when the "party host" took the kids over to the ropes course AND LEFT THEM THERE TO STAND IN LINE BY THEMSELVES!!!! After we left we called to file a formal complaint about how our party was handled and the GM was as rude as could be on the phone. And is offering a $100 gift card to go back for our troubles. Our party cost over $400 and you want to give us a $100 gift card . We don't want to come back to that place. We want our money back for the party. It was an absolute disaster and it was absolutely embarrassing to have other parents see such a poorly handled party. The bday boy even said when we left "We should have just gone to Dave and Busters" So thank you for the $100 gift card to come back to an establishment we will never step foot in again to make up for a ruined 8th bday party and a wasted $400+ read more
