We ordered two dining combos. My burger was not made right. They had to redo my burger. Then we were suspossed to have game cards. We receive one game card and the other one was done as a gift card even though we did not want it this way. I goto area to have ard done correctly and they are not able to fix it. I was told that I would have to go the front desk where there was a huge line. It was hard finding someone to help me. Then a manager could not figure it out for a while. Then it was finally done correctly. For the inconvenience I was never offered anything. Then there was a ketchup stain and fries on floor in game room the whole time we were there. Me and a group of six of us went the Main Event for some bowling. Once we got there we paid for all day bowling. We were shown to our lane where we were asked if we would like food service. We said yes we would. We bowled through half the game and no one has come up to us. We stopped one of the servers and asked if we could order food. He said he would be with us shortly. Again after ten or fifteen minutes, I asked again. This time it was a female server, she said she would be by soon. After the first game ended, we started up another game. We saw both servers delivering food to the lanes to our left and right. Three in total and we still had no service. The fourth time we asked, I went to the bar and asked them, they stated that they would send a server over to our lane. As we got through the first half of our second game, it ended. Turns out we only had one hour of playtime. So after a hour we did not get served and we asked four times. So I spoke with a manager and he offered us a table... and a server...maybe. Our group pretty much really frustrated and hungry, decided to go out to Buffalo Wild Wings, which was a very nice time. read more

If I could drop negative stars I would. They kicked our group out after we dropped $400+ on the opening weekend while tipping 30-40% on the tab. The manager Stephanie needs an attitude adjustment or maybe just some male attention she's the type who rocks the lemme speak to the manager haircut and gets her kicks kicking men out of her bosses establishment. Will not be visiting this establishment any time soon. Poor management. Everything else was great but management brought the entire staff down. It just sucks we got kicked out when we just paid for one hour of bowling and could not even get drinks because they thought we were "too drunk". read more

Worst service experience and food combo I've ever had. One in our party was told they were out of salmon when all of our food finally came (took over an hour), and then they forgot another persons meal in our party. Two people waited for their boyfriend and girlfriend to get their food to eat and the food got cold cause it took so long. The manager told us he could dump the food if we didn't want to pay. The manager also told us the kitchen had only been doing this for a week and that her system wouldn't allow her to do anything to the bill. Then she took 50 percent off and still charged us for the salmon that they didn't have. Eventually they comped our whole bill but it was handled so poorly that I will never go back. The food was also subpar to say the least. My chicken sandwich was cheap bar food. read more

Very angry at the fact that i could only come 30 minutes before close. They had everything shut down super early and told us we weren't allowed to do any of the attractions. The fat white dude who seemed to be the manager was very rude and said that since nobody was there they were told to close. which is false because other people were definitely in the building that weren't workers. I am especially disappointed because I am from out of state and wanted to come have fun with my family and friends. Very very disappointed. upgrade your workers ive worked at a fun center and if we ever acted that way we would have been fired on the spot. read more

My husband, two teenagers, and I visited for some games and food before heading to another event. The guys all got the unlimited games pass for $20 each which kept them thoroughly entertained. Many games to choose from although they seemed to gravitate toward the shooting games. The dining area was a bit confusing as we weren't sure if we seated ourselves or not. There really weren't any staff standing by so we took a table. As no one greeted us, we used the table top kiosk to begin ordering drinks and appetizers. Shortly there after, a staff member stopped by and profusely apologized no one had been out to greet us. She assured us she'd check on our drinks and apps, which were served shortly thereafter. We also used the kiosk to order our dinner which took a bit longer to arrive, but it gave the kids more time to go play while the husband and I enjoyed a quiet table. A server brought out our food and while serving us, accidentally knocked over my fries on her tray. She apologized and said she'd bring out some more fries to cover what was spilled. Even though I told her it wasn't necessary, she did so anyway. The food was quite good (the burger my husband ordered was huge!) and we all left satisfied. As an extra apology, the server (or possibly manager) brought us some to-go refills of our sodas to take with us back to game area and again apologized for the substandard service stating that they had not staffed properly (it was the day after Christmas and we didn't think they'd be quite so busy either). Before leaving, one of the kids tested out the antigravity course and although he's done more challenging courses elsewhere, he enjoyed it nonetheless and the $7 cost was worth it. Great atmosphere, very nice interior. Would recommend the arcade, bowling, laser tag, and ropes course. On Monday nights, they have an all in one pass that includes laser tag, sky course, bowling, and arcade games for $10.95. This starts after 4:00 on Mondays. The food selection is vast on food, however little to no Vegan options. Overall a good place to take the family. read more

If I could give less stars, I would. This is the second time I've been to Main Event. The first time I spent nearly $700 on my child's birthday party. The service was absolutely terrible. I vowed to never go back but, gave it another chance. This evening I went, and it was absolutely horrendous. The bartender Ceice barely provided any service at all. She didn't provide a terrible attitude and also told my husband that she was about to "piss" him off. We we served only one drink in a whole hour. She didn't even come back to take our food orders. We relocated to the bowling alley where it look a very long time to receive our food and drinks. Our server told us that the bartender had gotten many complaints We were only served two drinks in a matter of 3 hours and they refused to serve more than one at a time. Food was incorrect and our bowling was shut down before we even finished the game. I will never recommend this place to anyone. I will NEVER go back, and I hope no one else has to go through this experience. read more

This was our 3rd time at Main Event. We came for my sons birthday and so he could show his grandparents and cousins this "awesome" place. Tonight was the WORST experience I have EVER had at such an establishment! They were understaffed, which was evident from tables that were left with dirty dishes. Our drink orders came after 30 minutes (water and lemonade). Three of the meals we ordered they did not have ingredients for. One meal didn't come until we reminded the waitress- after everyone else had eaten (she didn't check on us and we couldn't get anyone's attention so we had to go to the hostess booth to let them know. They tried to make up for it by giving us game cards, which weren't charged! When we asked about said cards we were told that they were used up at 5:00pm, when we didn't even get there until 6. A giant ice cream sundae was on display throughout the venue, even urging people to tag a picture on instagram. When we tried to order- they didn't have the ingredients!!!! My son fell in laser tag and someone had to come get us. While my husband filled out the report a staff member came and scolded my son for being wreckless. This is starting to sound like Alexander and the Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day... but the evening continued with more let downs. The ONLY reason we stayed was because we had paid for all of the activities. Needless to say, we will be spending our money at Dave and Busters from now on! read more

Bar staff not very friendly, lacked basic customer service skills. I sat there for ten minutes with dollar bills in hand and not a word was spoken to me such as "Hello - we'll be with you as soon as we can" ... Bartenders made eye contact with me but ignored me as I sat there looking back at them waiting to order.. I sat there politely and patiently.. Drinks way over-priced, the games we're like $1.50 each which is pricey especially since some finish in under a minute.. Big screens at the bowling alley were distracting, not sure why you need huge tv screens at the end of a bowling lane.. I was very excited when I heard about Main Event. I had immediately wanted to check it out! My boyfriend and I just now left and are VERY disappointed! Him and I each got the unlimited activity pass as well as a $30 card for the arcade. I was pleased with the kind lady that helped us pick out what to do at the front desk, however, everyone else we had encountered was extremely RUDE!!! The laser tag worker was on his phone in the corner of the arena the whole game and was very unhelpful to the kids that didn't know what to do. The worst experience was the gravity ropes. We had a nice start, I was excited to get started and above the ground. When I got to the top, I got very scared and was only able to do a few obstacles before I got scared and felt like I needed to get down. Making it back to the start was a challenge. There were WAY too many people up there at once and it got very claustrophobic with 5 people on one small platform. Multiple children were going on the obstacles at the same time and no one was doing anything to warn them or stop them. Eventually, I got to the start and the worker at the top allowed my boyfriend and I to head back down the stairs. When my boyfriend got to the bottom the workers were completely full on YELLING at him! Someone screamed at us for moving forward too far and then someone else unhooked our harnesses. The guy that untightened it was screaming at us to move to a specific spot and to turn around and then we yelled at us to take our harness to the rack. This guy was especially rude to my boyfriend when he didn't hear him the first time he was told to move. I was so shocked to have encountered such rudeness like this. After this incident, we decided it was time to pick our prizes and leave. When my boyfriend was ready to check out at the prize counter, the lady there was talking to the laser tag worker and they both ignored the fact that he was there and continued their conversation until they were finished. We are very displeased and upset with our experience at Main Event. If I had known the staff behaved as they did, we would have never taken the 40 minute drive out to Avon. read more

My 11-year old son and I went to ME to play laser tag and bowl. Laser tag was extremely expensive and the woman that took our money was very rude - simply telling us to go stand in line. We proceeded to the line and there was nobody to be found. We stood in line for 10 minutes and I finally found an employee that seemed annoyed that I asked him what we have to do to play laser tag. He literally pointed at the TV screen that had the amount of time remaining on the current game of laser tag and walked away. We played laser tag and proceeded back to pay for a game of bowling. I was told by a different woman, who appeared to be bothered to help us, that it would cost me $36 for one hour of bowling. I then asked what happens if we don't take a full hour to bowl one game. She was extremely rude in her response and said with an annoyed look on her face "I don't know. We charge $36 for one hour of bowling. That's how we do things." I can promise you that we will never visit Main Event again. Their staff is rude and not helpful at all. read more
