My husband and I are very busy people so we ended up getting some free time and decided to take our 3 boys to have some fun. Upon arriving we were starving decided to go in the cafe to eat before doing any of the activities. We stood in front the hostess stand for approximately 10mins waiting while they had about 5 people with Main Event shirts on just looking at us until I finally ask should we seat ourselves and one of them replied yes. We sat at the table for about 20mins and noone ever came to service us mind you there was only us and one other family in the restaurant at this time. We ended up asking an employee passing by our booth for assistance he states someone will be with us shortly. While there are about 7 employees in front of the restaurant doing the Cha-Cha slide.Still sitting for another 10-20 mins and other family walks in after being seated for 10 mins someone comes out and serve them they received their drinks. At this time my husband and I are extremely pissed so we decided to get up and leave the kids never got to play. Thats our first and last time. Very bad experience. I would not recommend the main event to anyone. read more

This is such a fun place to go! I equate it to an adult version of chuck-e-cheese! I would recommend, however, to go early in the day (or before 7pm) if you have children or teens, as the night time brings out all of the adults and can get a little rowdy. The price of the food is a little extreme for what you get, but the overall experience and environment makes up for it. I reserve this place for big/especial events rather than a Saturday night out. read more

Honestly, I like this place a lot. I think it's awesome for the area, great location, awesome atmosphere, overall fun place. I've been twice now and both times have been pleasant for the most part. Goods: Awesome game selection and activities for all ages. A lot of employees on duty along with security. Short lines and cost is reasonable. Being a big franchise there are always specials. Check their website to see what's going on at that particular time, for example Monday night is all you can play for $11 a person. Pretty good if you ask me. Because of all this I would rate it a strong 4. If it didn't have a restaurant it'd probably be a 5 but the food side was underwhelming. Servers were super nice but the food takes way too long and isn't that great. Wings were probably the best thing I've had there, they are pretty big! Brand new building on the "Boulevard" area of the mall that's sure to bring in some fun! I've only experienced the restaurant but walked around afterwards to check it out. The restaurant serves American food that is pretty delicious. I've eaten their traditional buffalo wings and sunny side up burger. Both were a solid meal and more than I expected. The wings were crisp and flavorful. The burger was impressive and tasty. I wish they had healthier options. Their menu has an symbol that's supposed to tell you what meals are under 500 calories and I only saw 2 things. The staff was outgoing and great. Walked around and they have several arcade games, tons of bowling lanes, a laser tag room, and an elevated rope course. Was just on my lunch break so didn't have time to play. I've been to other main events that were larger so I was underwhelmed at its size. Will definitely have to check it out at night time to see how much fun it is then. read more

This place is wild, went out with the family and two of us had hair in our food. And the server ask what type of hir it was, and then he scans our table as if it was one of our hairs. Then when it's time to pay he ask if I wanted to talk to a manager about the hair, I said no but I'd suggest that the kitchen staff should wear hair nets and I guess that was taken the wrong way lol so we pay and when the tip was taken off he ask if he did something wrong because he noticed that the tip was taken off and that the tip doesn't go main event it goes to him (he was going to be receiving a cash tip, but he jumped to conclusions) all the adults at the table tipped him. But if two out of four of us had hair just imagine how many people or eating hair at that place. read more

Service is awful. Stood 30 minutes in line with 1 worker at the desk when there were a bunch of workers standing around doing nothing. After we got our wristbands, we immediately went to laser tag and were told we have to wait an hour to get into a game. We then went to get a bowling lane and were told we have to wait in the long line AGAIN to get put on a waitlist for a lane after the worker at the desk initially told us we did not have to wait in line to get a lane and shoes. Lots of activities and can be really fun! The only problem is it is insanely packed of people. We waited 2 1/2 hours to bowl!!! On top of that the waiter in the small restraunt forgot our order, forgot to come give us our check, and even forgot our drinks after the food! After a rough start we went bowling and had a good time and the employees at the front desk really do care about the employees it's just chaotic! I was told to never allow a hitman to try to kill you twice. The first time I've ever visited main event I had to clean my own bowling section food was all over the table chairs and floor on top of cleaning my own bowling Section I had to go to the restaurant to place my own food order because no one was available to take my order So that took away my hours that I paid for bowling thank God the food was OK. Let's fast forward till today March 18 arrived in Main event placed an order at 8:30 spinach and artichoke dip along with fried wings my Spanish and artichoke dip came out first lo and behold there was no way to sit it Party Street are the bar at the gelato stand Was horrible very filthy food trays cups napkins everywhere it reminded me of how the bathroom looked my wings finally arrived after 15-20 minutes lo and behold they were the wrong kind of wings The waiter sent them back after waiting over an hour for six wings and cleaning my own table off so that I can eat food that NEVER ARRIVED I ask for a refund as I was asking for the refund my wings finally arrived the waitress the bartender whoever she was gave me the ultimatum of do I want the wings or do I want the refund with a Nasty attitude at that point I was ready to go so I suggested to get a refund I was no longer hungry I didn't wont to eat from that filthy atmosphere At the prices you pay is not worth the atmosphere I spent over $200 on a game card That my grandson will not be able to use because I will never step foot back in that nasty building. I spoke with the manager on my way out and he had every excuse on why his building was not clean his customer service was not up to park all he could say was we understaffed and I had a lot of people calling off I understand you have to make money but if you can't provide good customer service great food and a clean environment why don't you just close down for the day until you fully staffed read more

Came to Main Event for my nephew's birthday celebration and it was awful. My husband and I had to wait outside in a line that got longer and longer. Everyone outside was dripping with sweat and miserable from the heat. They were letting as many people in as the number that came out, regardless of whether or not you were there as a party guest. I will never go there again. Very poor planning. read more

Went there to bowl and lazer tag. The bowling was fun and the front desk girl was very nice. The service at the bowling table was terrible. Our server, (McKenzie?) came to the table maybe 4 times in the whole hour, once to take our orders, once to bring us 3 drinks she waited at the bar for 20 mins for, and twice to bring us the checks ( we asked once, didn't get them, had to ask again.) Normally we can deal with the service not being as good because we are bowling, however we had to ask other servers for refills, that we asked for twice and neither time they told us what drinks were which. The server was nice, but not attentive at all. Then off to lazer tag, that was really fun, but we were yelled at and told she would "turn the game off" if we ran, which we weren't told before, but stopped immediately. Overall, we had fun, but the service at every department was terrible. Don't think we will be back, maybe the arcade where you don't have to deal with the employees. read more

We had a party for my son's 10th birthday. Overall the party was okay - the kids had fun which is the most important thing. The laser tag was ok (he said he prefers a different place for laser tag) and the gravity ropes were pretty cool too. The arcade is full of games for all ages. There were a few hiccups which lowered my rating of the party: -The pizzas were undercooked, which we were given another pizza. -The flow of the party was left up to me other than the planned activity itinerary. I'd like to see more of a system (making sure that cake/presents are started in a timely manner after pizza and before the activities start, maybe include it in the itinerary). There were a few times I felt like I was in charge of the party, not the hosts from Main Event. -The computer system was down and the manager refused to serve beverages to any of the adults even if they were paying with cash. This should not have happened, the staff should have gone to a manual system until the computers were up. -After the second event, the kids were not brought back to the party room, they were allowed to wander the arcade. No one informed the parents this was the plan, so we ended up with 8 kids roaming free without adult supervision. The party host should have either brought the kids back as a group how she brought them to gravity ropes or told the parents the kids would be released to the arcade from the activity. read more

This is a review that is true. On Thursday evening my family and I went to main event for the first time our experience was horrible...... I won't go in to detail about the events that played out but those things intricately a contritely left a bad taste in my family and I's mouth ... I called main event on friday because I couldn't shake what we experienced and I felt upper management needed to know about what happened!!! I spoke with one of the Managers Chavonte ( She is AMAZING Y'all) on Friday and she was EXTREMELY nice and understanding and what I really like is not one time did she try to deflect the responsibility from the crew from Thursday evening she invited my family and I back to main event she stated she really wanted my family and I to have the experience that is apart of why main event was created,I truly appreciate her greatly not only did she accommodate my family but guest that met up with us she allowed them to be apart of the experience as well needless to say we had a BLAST!!!!!! I'm so thankful that she listened, validated and had follow through as a customer a lot of times you feel like your just a walking wallet and businesses don't care what there employees do or don't do but they need to care because they are the faces we see and the mouths that communicate with us customers !!! If I could give this place less than one star, I would. To start, on a Tuesday night that was far from being busy we were promised a server at our bowling lane, and after 30 minutes of waiting, we understandably and respectfully asked a front desk worker who again told us there would be a server soon. After 55 minutes of waiting, and 5 minutes left in our bowling game, we finally went to the bar to see if they could serve us. At the bar and restaurant, no one payed us any attention, and wouldn't serve us either. Finally, my mom stopped the server that was supposed to come to our table, who had been serving tables that had come in later than us by 20-40 minutes (yes i checked the time, I was hungry and starting to get angry). I am usually NEVER angered by situations like this, but on a slow Tuesday night, this establishment has no excuse for poor service like this. If they can't attend one table on a slow night, I can't imagine the poor service on a busy night. 10/10 would never come back, save your time, save your money. read more

So I have been twice. Once for a booked birthday party for my daughter. It was disastrous from a parent aspect but my daughter had a great time so that's all that matters. It was clearly understaffed and our party hosts were overwhelmed. The manager over the party rooms that night was more than accommodating. I said I would never be back but she definitely changed my mind. Went today.. just to bowl... I met Kayla, young girl and super immature with a horrible attitude over the wait-list line. I wanted to walk away then. But I had already spent $50 to get a lane and shoes. Our server for our lane was great but again overwhelmed. She went missing for about 30 minutes and I could not get refills, napkins, or order desert. She did accommodate us with 30 minutes extra time for late service and inconvenience. Every one at check in looks like they have no clue whats going on. The younger boys around the back are unprofessional. The people in sales are the same way. Joshua is one of my favorite workers there. Greets you with a smile and has been there to help with all of the confusion at that place. read more
