I am really dissapointed. We always get together in main event because is somehing different to have fun. We get to the place and get two bowling tables 7 and 8. I asked Mr Briar to help us with the order and his attitude was dismissive. We order from the fun card menu and we want to switch fries for salad and he was really rude to tell us we cannot do subtitutes. Also I ask him to make sure there was no bacon on the sirloin and his answer was: I dont see why the steak will have bacon on it. So I show him the picture of the sirloin which has bacon on it. He did not even ask us what drinks we wanted. I was thinking maybe he had a bad day and leave it there but then he brought us the water and was rude in the manner he put it in table. So rude, he spilled some in the table. I also saw him talking nice and laughing to the people next to us, so i dont understand why he treated us so bad. After one hour and half from ordering the food, we left because the food never came. I really like main event but having people like that working with you it is very dissapointed for the customers. Worst service ever. Waited 40 minutes for a server, asked multiple employees, and never got a server. Had to move to a different section to finally put in a food order and then it took forever to come out. 3 hour wait for bowling. 1 1/2 hour wait for laser tag. Very very low value. We arrived at 11am in a Saturday wanting a fun day with the kids, paid the "special" price of 16 per person to play all the bowling, laser tag and pool we wanted. In the 4 hours we were there we got one game of bowling and one broken game of laser tag. The wait for another game of bowling when we gave up was 4 hours. Laser tag was over an hour wait and the game crashes several times while playing and the equipment is ancient. The arcade is filled with 15 year old games that don't work. I have been here for several corporate functions. I have to say the biggest surprise at all of these has been how good the food actually is. So, if you're thinking corporate fun, this may be a good idea for you. As I'm not a big arcade person, I won't wax rhapsodic over the games, but there are quite a few different kinds. Most folks can find something they like. There is also pool, shuffleboard, and bowling. I think that the place can get pricey if you're playing on your own dime, so be prepared. read more

I attended a deaf event at Main Event called Show of Hands. It was delightful. My kids have always gone there but it was my first time there. I loved the Billiards. We sampled the food and even though it wasn't suited to my diabetic palate, I love the flatbread. I will be returning! read more

Eh don't get me wrong i had fun here, but the service omg it sucks!! so many rude employees especially the girl doing the laser tag. Shes the worst. I had great service at the bar area by the pool tables thou. Tonight was my third night ever being here & like i said i had fun, but they don't even make announcements about closing. I started a game and all of a sudden my money was wasted because they shut the machines off. Granted yes i should have seen what time they closed but as i said third time here and you lose track of time. Im not saying how to do their job but they should at least have the decently to say hey in about 5 mins the games will be shut off. For the price, the hours, and overall experience you can't really ask for much more. $22.00 and you get unlimited bowling, unlimited billiards, an arcade card for access to the arcade, and the night we went, unlimited laser tag. Very poor service! Waited 30 minutes for a server on our lane. Waited another 15 for sodas, another 10 for beer, and another 20 for food. Complained to the server who argued with us and was rude. Complained to the manager, who switched out servers to a really great server, Brandon, who really hustled to serve us. He is the only reason I give any stars. I went to Main Event for the first time recently and my first impression of this place was in between a Chuck E. Cheese and D&B because that's the range of people I saw at this place, high school teenagers to young adults that offers games, food, bar, laser tag, bowling, and billiards. Not a bad place to hangout for high school & college students because it provides a fun atmosphere. Regular price on the weekends for the attractions maybe a bit pricier but just ask for some specials, usually there's one. The quality of billiards and bowling attractions are more for recreational use so don't expect to have the latest and greatest equipment to practice for a tournament or something. Employees that I've encountered with were very helpful and attentive when it came to orders. read more

Smells horrible, a 30% of games are not working. Past 11pm at night and there's 4 year old children jumping on top of tables and running around the place. There should be a timeframe for no kids at night. Especially with parents that don't care about their kids behavior. read more

Everything was fine until it was time to go bowling. After a two hour wait we finally got a lane. Half way thru our "unlimited" game we were informed that we only had an hour of game play. This wasn't even enough time to finish one game. We were told that bowling is unlimited but we only can play ONE hour at a time then you have to wait another two hours to play again. In order to play two games you have to be here for six hours. After confronting the manager he removed all signs that said unlimited bowling if you bought a pass. All we can say is that our server, James had wonderful interpersonal skills introducing himself and offering us great warm service. This guy is definitely management material. We booked our grandsons 8 th birthday party with bowling, party room and laser tag. We arrived at the appointed time and our party hostess provided shoes. We were informed we had to wait for the lanes and we had to "hang out" at the front. This gave a large group of 2 nd grade boys time to run around out of control for 20 minutes, while the party hostess kept disappearing. When they finally got to bowl, the hostess set them up and disappeared. Who was supposed to be supervising and directing the game? This place isn't cheap and for us to be left on our own is inexcusable. Another issue was the filth. The tables in the bowling area weren't clean and we had to stare at filthy dishes. They did put a reserved sign on the filthy tables for us. The hostess finally appeared in time to take us to the party room. The table was clean, the floor was filthy. Would I recommend this place and do another party here. NO! Because of the filthy health hazards and not being organized, with a disappearing party hostess. Is cleanliness hard? Shouldn't there have been two party hosts? Felt like we were moved through like cattle. For the price we paid I expected a lot more. Also my granddaughter traded in her points for a charging plug. When she got home and plugged it in it sparked, shocking hand in 2 places. Let's add dangerous items given to kids to this review. read more

Nice place but be prepared to pay. $6 draft beer, games are $1-$1.50 per game and last maybe 2 minutes, service was non- existent, food is $10 for drink & nasty dry chicken fingers and fries, bowling for two was $48/hr (no service there either). Ended up spending $108 there with two kids. I don't know why they think parents can afford entertainment at this rate. It's hard enough finding fun things to do but when you jack the price up so high it really leaves a sour taste in my pocket book. Maybe once a year sort of place. $$$ read more

My sisters and I came to spend the day at this location, and I would've rated this place a better, but our server had terrible customer service she rushed us and did not properly greet us so I don't even know her name she wore two braids and had red hair anyway, we came early around 12pm on a Monday so it was absolutely slow to where she could have been more attentive to her tables, the first time she came we had just got to our seats and hadn't even touched our menu yet and she quickly said what do we want and walked away before everyone got a chance to speak. Then when she brought out our drinks she didn't ask if we would like to order food , she put the drinks down and disappeared.. I had to go to the bar and get some help MYSELF instead of her coming to us I came to her to find her sitting at the table chatting with the other workers. The only good part was that One of the associates who worked there by the name of Ashley did a great job at making us have a better experience she worked the laser tag area and when something broke inside the room she gave us a game card for the inconvenience of us having to wait longer than what we had already waited. At the end of the day if some of the workers there had better customer service it would be a better place until then they need to get their act together and again not everyone was acting as if they didn't want to be there but several of them were. read more

This use to be my favorite location. Until my last couple of times of coming here. I've been coming the past 3 weeks in a row and had horrible experiences. The service of bad. We were bowling and had a server and she said she had to go on break and there will be another server coming but another one never came. Then this week we bowled again and the same thing happen and the server said he was gonna bring us our food and it had never came. Then we decide to play pool and there is no chalk all of the triangles were broken and there wasn't enough for all the tables. More than half of cues the tips were broken and or not straight. My family and I had been invited back after a bad experience. The manager Bobby really made everything great the service was a 180 from the time before. Ok Main Event, lets see if this makes since. We are a party of 15 that got here at 11:30am to enjoy this seemingly cool establishment however, after paying for "unlimited passes" 45 min after we start bowling our screen notifies us that we have 15min left. We go and request more time and the server says "oh well now there is a wait list" even though over half of the lanes are not being used. well after 30 minutes trying to sort this out they say oh we will give you another hour. Well only 15 minutes go by and then we get another 15minute notice. so really they gave us another 30 after telling us an hour. Then we go back and ask for more time and they say oh they are all reserved in 20min so we need you off in 10. It is now after 2:30pm there are plenty of open lanes and it's not like we were sitting here doing nothing. We ordered plenty of food, plenty of drinks and have been using the lanes. so THEN we ask where should we sit when our food comes and we were told to ask our server to find us a table because they are ALL reserved. So they suggest the bar area with our 8 kids. So all in all pretty aweful customer service on all fronts. Trust me I will not be coming back here or suggesting it to anyone. read more

I always take my kids here along with all the nieces and nephews. The facility is always clean and that's important to me. Places like Chuck E. Cheese's seem to crowded and feel very dirty. I love that the kids have a variety of things to do that way I only have to drive to one place versus 5! We played bowling this last time and I had such a great time. But what made a difference this time was the gentleman that helped us. I can't remover his name but a young man that was tall and slim. I had 5 kids that were very hungry and impatient. He came over to us right away and attended us. He got that food in so fast and continuously checked in on us to help the time go smoothly. He even gave us an extra 15 minutes to finish our game instead of me having to pay another hour. So sweet. I'll get his name next time! read more

I went on a Friday morning it was $22 for an hour and $3.50 for shoe rentals per person. It was totally worth it. I'd you go in the evening it is $34/hr for a lane. The only improvement I can see is to have more games in the arcade area. read more

Main Event brings you bowling, Poker, Laser Tag, Billiards, Arcade and lasst but not least GREAT customer service. Billiards is 10 an hour , Bowling is can cost you up to 24 for the initial hour but its 10$ for each 30 and so on. You are also able to split that cost with how many people youre playing with so it comes out fairly cheap but just dont forget to take in consideration the $4 fee for the shoes. The food is fairly decent for the price you pay and a meal can cost anything from $10+. All in all I always leave Main Event feeling SATISFIED read more

Came here with my two friends while visiting Texas it was fun. Played lots of games but we didn't bowl or do laser tag though.

The worst $100 you can spend. I'd say 1 out of every 3 games didn't work. The pizza was god awful and $15 for 3 tiny tiny microwaved slices and they were out of Dr.Pepper and Pepsi and Rootbeer with none of the employees able to change out the soda canisters. Had a great time with a team building at main event tonight! Laser tag was a lot of fun; the food was good and they were very well organized. Plenty to do with bowling, karaoke and other fun games. Some of the drinks were average but overall it was a very good time. They have socks and shoes available for bowling! I'd recommend hosting another team building activity here! read more

This place looks great but when it comes to service and value, it's horrible. Stay away!!! Bowling cost $36/hr, shoes are additional $4.50 each. Pizzas are $20 each. We were given a lane for 2 families to play. When the time is up, they don't warn you and automatically shuts your screen down. But they have no problem asking you to keep ordering drinks and food. Our food arrived after we got booted out. Very bad service here. And because everyone is charged by the hour, parties are desperate to stomp over you to get started. Also the arcade is so expensive - the claw game that you pay 50c at HEB to play cost $1.75 here! You can easily spend over $100 an hr here.... cheaper to go play at the park with mc Donald's take out!!! read more

They won't let your kids play laser tag if they are under 4 ft tall even though other establishments have let me kids play several times I got told they weren't tall enough LOL I still purchased two $5 all day laser tag for the older 2 kids and we had to quickly get a refund because the next session wasn't for another 45 minutes. Main Event will remain uncontested in their constant deals. My last visit, there was a line of people leading out of the door waiting to cash in on a deal that was too great to pass up. I do resonate with the majority of the reviews chronicling their run-ins with subpar service. Last week, I was waiting to get shoes and was standing on the side of the counter where the bowling alley is located. (This is where those waiting for shoes usually stand.) I waited for five minutes until the man who had been working with his back to me finally turned around. He said he could help us on the other side of the counter. I was put off by the fact he was just now telling us this, especially since he knew that I was waiting to be helped and continued to ignore me. I don't expect five-star service from this place but I do expect mutual respect and some kind of softness. The majority of the employees always seem stone-faced at this location. ‍ read more

Visiting from out of town and this main event location is super crammed. You barely have a ft of space between you and the group of bowlers next to you. We also asked if they could wipe down the booth since it was sticky and we were setting two infants in car seats on the booth and they never came over.
