I took two solid 14k gold thick figaro necklaces (one 35 inches and the other 30 inches a total of 65 inches) in to Main Express Jewelry to be made into 2 shorter necklaces and 3 bracelets. They made a mistake measuring and cut a piece of the chain for a bracelet to long and had to cut a few inches off. They were supposed to attach that piece back into one of the necklaces. They did not re-attach the piece of chain as they were supposed to do. They ended up keeping it about 3 inches of the 14k gold chain from me. Of the 65 inches of gold chain I took in to them they only used 62 inches. I called them and confronted them with how many inches my chains were that I brought in and the total inches I left with. They called me later and said they "found" some pieces of what might be my chain. I went back in and long behold, it was my chain! But it was only 1 & 1/2 inches of the 3 inches they did not use in my necklace or return to me. And to top it off, Maria, the mother, actually tried to charge me an extra $38 for "putting that piece of chain back into one of the necklaces" when they 1) they did not put it back into a necklace and 2) they were the ones who made the mistake. My gut told me that I should have just taken my chains back and left when Maria started jacking me around with the price in the beginning. Oh how I regret doing business with them! Buyer beware!!! The really sad part about this experience is I have been a customer of theirs since they first opened their store (across the street from their current location) in Hesperia. If Maria did this to me she'll do it to anyone. Document anything you leave with them: take pictures of it, measure it, and weigh it to make sure you get back what you took in!!! read more

I came in and found a beautiful ring which needed a wedding band to go with it. The owner custom made a ring guard as a wedding band for me which came out fantastic! Not one complaint on the ring, it's beautiful and I could not have asked for anything better for a wedding set. I would give five stars but what could have been a great experience ended up being sort of stressful due to the lack of communication and knowledge of how long it actually takes to get things done. I waited a month which would not have been a problem had they communicated within the business and with their customers. Other than that, very nice people and the jewelry is gorgeous! I've been there twice and both times they told me the repairs were going to take between 3 to 5 days and it took a month both times. They said they were going to call me and they never did, they didn't even returned my calls. I had to stop by every week until I got my bracelets back. They put a security chain in two bracelets and charged me $60 the first time and $85 dollars the second time for doing the exact same thing. They fixed one of the bracelets and it broke the third time I was going to wear it, it was broken in the same spot that they had fixed. Took it back to get it fixed and they told me that it was a different spot and they were not responsible if it wasn't the same spot, when I'm 100 % sure it was the same place that they fixed. If I can give then 1/4 of a star I would had done it. I hope that my review will help others. read more

Drop off my two rings to be fixed. The salesgirl told me the rings will be done in10 days. I told her I had my nieces wedding to go to and wanted them to wear. She said no problem and that she will called me when their ready. I waited 15 days. I called them to see if they are done. The salesgirl said that the jeweler will call you back. Looks like the service at this place hadnt improved much more since the last post! Had I been able to give a 1/2 star I would. I was hit with the classic bait & switch gig!last month I wanted 3 rings rhodium plated as they are all yellow gold & I wear white now.so, I came in today for just the rhodium & I'm told the lady would be back at 4, it was 3,& that on my engagement ring I needed 2 prongs fixed & on my princess cut solitaire 1 so before they could do the rhodium plating they would fix the prongs @$28 a prong & then BC I didn't purchase the rings there instead of the $15 per ring ($45) the cost would be $30 per ring. I was originally told that $15 each ring nothing additional. Typical bait & switch.I wouldn't buy a sterling silver hairpin from this joint. Not now! read more
