It was the bread/sub roll they use that killed the glory of it. Dry and dense. I want the inside of a roll to be able to be scooped out and hold a ball shape with the outside crisp. They also did not put the mayo on both sides of the bread. I want a bulkie roll option or thin white bread. The staff was nice, the cost for a large after tip. $18.00 WOOF. Too much for all that bread. At least grease me up first with some extra mayo. Side note: the deli cases could use a clean out or some frosted plastic to hide all the mess. The ambience makes you unsure what you are going to receive in whatever you order.

They have a very, very small seating area so you have to eat and run, which is only fair because there are people always waiting for tables. If you have never eaten at the Westside deli, you absolutely must put it on your, "must try" list. Everybody was raving about the food and the freshness. The hour that we were there, I would guess 50 people came and went to pick up their orders or sit down to eat. Parking is a little sparse, but it's well worth it to give this place a try. The staff was extremely friendly even the cook brought out our food and they checked on us often. There is a no tipping policy and if you insist on leaving a tip, they put it in a jar and they donate it. Using cash is better than using a credit card because their credit card fee is a little high. The sandwich was the right size and the price was very reasonable. I definitely would give them a try. Please follow me and I will take you to some great mom and pop places. We will go back again.
