I happen to find out about the Westside deli by a Yelp listing of hot places to go. I have to say…read morethat this is one of the best places you should go if you want fresh authentic food that is homemade and extremely flavorful. This was our first time there and I had the corned beef special. I have to say, it was the best I have ever had. It was a little messy, but that was OK. Messy makes the sandwich even better. They have ready-made Greek salads a couple of desserts, different salads deli meats as well. I couldn't believe how many people were coming and going. People called ahead. They had their orders ready. people that walked in, place their orders and the sandwiches came out very fast. Our food came out quite rapidly as well. They have a very, very small seating area so you have to eat and run, which is only fair because there are people always waiting for tables. If you have never eaten at the Westside deli, you absolutely must put it on your, "must try" list. Everybody was raving about the food and the freshness. The hour that we were there, I would guess 50 people came and went to pick up their orders or sit down to eat. Parking is a little sparse, but it's well worth it to give this place a try. The staff was extremely friendly even the cook brought out our food and they checked on us often. There is a no tipping policy and if you insist on leaving a tip, they put it in a jar and they donate it. Using cash is better than using a credit card because their credit card fee is a little high. The sandwich was the right size and the price was very reasonable. I definitely would give them a try. Please follow me and I will take you to some great mom and pop places. We will go back again.

The sandwich was tasty, perfect portions of sauce to bread to toppings / meats. I tried the Key West, and customized just a bit. Will be back to try more!

Fish and chips: my fish was soggy on the bottom (and dripping) and the chips were run of the mill frozen boring fries. Onion rings & clam strips were just okay. Tartar sauce made in house - nothing special. We order, go to grab a table, and find an employee laying in a booth to take her break I assume...meanwhile it was the only clean booth to be seen. We cleaned our own table. Wish I tried the roast beef to see what the hype was about but I won't bother going back. Maybe the next time I'm in Massachusetts I'll give the real deal a try.

The roast beef sandwiches were delicious and a great portion of meat. We had it the regular way with cheese mayo and sauce and got horseradish on the side. The fries were very crispy and seasoned well. The coleslaw was nice as well which is hard to find good coleslaw at a restaurant. We will definitely eat here again. The food was fresh and a great value. The only small complaints I could make is my bun for the junior size was just like a plain hamburger bun versus my husband's larger sandwich came with a much nicer toasted sesame bun and they didn't have the onion rings available. This is definitely worth a try!

This is the best pizza I've eaten since I left Brooklyn. I don't need to look any further. I have recommended to others who come from up north, and they all agree. They stated that the Nona and Sicilian pizzas normally take around 45 minutes and the other pizzas from my memory take around 15-20 minutes. We have been struggling to find a good pizza place in the area but, this is definitely the place to go for pizza. The ingredients on the pizza taste very fresh and the crust has the perfect crunch to it. I don't normally like thin crust pizza but, the crust was perfect not too thick and not too thin. The customer service and staff are amazing! They all greeted us and were extremely friendly. They made it very welcoming and they all seem very passionate and love working there. My boyfriend and I have already planned to go back for lunch one day this week to try some more items on the menu.

We decided to stop by for lunch and enjoy the food while soaking in the market's lively surroundings. From the menu, we ordered: Chicken Wings with Garlic Parmesan, Nachos,Smothered BBQ Chicken Sandwich, Bruschetta, Fried Green Tomatoes. We started our meal with the Chicken Wings and Nachos. The wings were perfectly cooked, flavorful, and coated in a rich Garlic Parmesan sauce. The nachos were crispy, well-seasoned, and paired nicely with the wings. The highlight of our meal was the Smothered BBQ Chicken Sandwich--a juicy, tender chicken patty topped with fresh salad. We wrapped up our lunch with Bruschetta, a fresh and flavorful Italian classic, which was the perfect way to end our meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our food from The Trough at Starkey Market. It's a great spot for a casual, delicious meal with fresh ingredients.

I suggest going on Wednesdays for 75cent wing day and loading up then. Their garlic parmesean is the best I have tasted in a long time.
