I am SO happy I just discovered Madison Restaurant near my new home! I'm a huge fan of Eggs Benedict, and honestly, it's very hard to find a place that serves real Eggs Benedict done right. Today, I can confidently say I just had one of the best Eggs Benedict of my life. You can even see it in the pictures I took the quality speaks for itself! The restaurant is spotless, beautifully lit, and has such a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is absolutely amazing everyone was kind, professional, and attentive. I had a wonderful experience with Jaydalyn, who took my order and made the morning even better. I also had the pleasure of meeting Christina, the owner, which made the experience feel even more special. Amazing food, excellent service, and a great environment. Yummy! We were in town visiting my in-laws and they said they really liked this place and normally it was very busy. We came in on a Monday around 11 am, so it wasn't bad at all. Greeted right away, and our service was lovely! I wasn't feeling too well and needed something that would stick to my bones, so I got the South Platter with all bacon. This also came with toast and grits, and to me, the star of the show was the grits! I'm from Las Vegas, where grits are typically only on the menu for things like shrimp and grits. Delightful little corner eatery. The olace is bright and airy on the inside, the tables are neatly spaced and their orices are reasonable. I recently stopped in with my sister from another Mister and we had lunch both of us had a gooey grilled cheese and a bowl of soup. I chose the French onion and she jad the broccoli cheddar. Amazing food. The Western Omelette was very flavorful. My suggestion is sautéing the onions more so they are more tender. Every thing else was very tasty. The ambiance is amazing. Especially NICOLE who sees us parking and has coffee hot for me and iced for Teri ready by time we sit. Her sweet smiley fun attitude is great to start off our day. Stopped by while The Broken Yolk was on vacation. Had a nice, small breakfast for $6 more with less food. The service and ambiance were fine, but there was no "crunchy side" to my sausage patties, they were flipping floppy wet on both sides. The French Toast was about half less than I usually get, but the bacon was good. Call me old fashioned I want my Broken Yolk back, but this place is still better than Starz, or Toast. read more

Nice brunch menu. Fresh and tasty. Clean and comfortable. Friendly and efficient staff.

They didn't make me feel COVID safe. They are seating at full capacity. The salt and pepper shakers are on the table along with community cream and sugar that I can't trust has been wiped down or sanitized. They are handing out paper menus BUT collecting them and re-using. You can tell how worn and tattered they are how many times they've been reused. Our table had drink circles on it, so really how well did it get cleaned before we sat? Along with all of that, our food was mediocre. The only thing I loved was my toast which was perfectly buttered. My breakfast potatoes tasted like grease and my sausage and bacon could have been cooked a bit more to get rid of that jiggly texture. Service was fast and friendly but that's not enough to get us to come back. read more

The only thing we liked was the lemon soup and it was almost $4 for a tiny cup (which they call a bowl); I can't imagine how small their cup size is. Grits was okay but that's because I loaded it with cheese and salted it. It was a little gritty still, not your homemade buttered smooth grits for sure. Everything else was tasteless and hurt our stomach. I asked if the cook knows how to cook a medium egg and she laughed and said "yes, whites cooked and yellow raw" and guess what, came out raw whites! Steak Ham tasted funny. But the service was amazing despite all the other reviews so confused about that. However, unfortunately they did not enforce the mask when a customer walked in maskless Waiting at the counter for his order which was less than 6 feet from me and he was coughing ugh! I heard they changed owners awhile back. Haven't been there since bc of covid. I was desperate for breakfast this morning after having been without power and having to throw out everything in the fridge today. Welp not only was I first on the wait list, several people were seated before me. The food was horrible. I didnt know you could ruin a western omelet. The cook managed to. Their home fries used to be exquisite. Now, ugh. Had to ask for water, had to ask for coffee refill. Hard pass. Never going back. read more

I have a emotional support animal. Through support pets.My Jack Russell Bo is suppose to have full access required by law to go into restaurant, stores, travel. They only let him in the restaurant once.when I went here today the man that works up front at the cash register was not nice, told me that my dog is no longer welcome into the restaurant. I try to explain to him he's a service animal, he continued not to let me in the restaurant. This is the way they treat people with service animals.I don't recommend this place if you have a service animal. read more

Lived in this area for years and only just tried this place out a couple months ago and was surprised at how nice a small cozy place this is....... especially in the neighborhood it's in. Not exactly Hyde Park or South Tampa. Hahaha Lots of choices on the menu, not too many to make it hard to choose but just the right amount to make you wanna come back and try something different maybe....... Fast- wow fast! This is a great local place for breakfast & lunch. We went Monday & they weren't too busy (weekends can get crazy packed here)- but that didn't mean slacking service! We were day right away & the server greeted us and got our drinks- I ordered a 2 egg breakfast with bacon, homefries & a biscuit & hubby ordered the corned beef hash breakfast with eggs, grits & a biscuit. It's rare to go out to eat and have the kitchen get the food out so fast! I honestly had a moment of thinking it couldn't be our food!- she must have set the food down at the wrong table! But alas... It was our order. Piping hot, fresh from the kitchen- we dug in. Being just up the street from my house, we decided to try this place for breakfast and WOW. The place is clean and well maintained. I had a farmers omlette. It was the fluffiest one I ever had. Full of items and very tasty. The service was very good and even the owner came by the table, which is always a plus for me. They use Smuckers jam, which to be is a sign of good food. Went around 11 for breakfast. We ordered and got our meals in literally five minutes. Sketch. Everything I must say was cold. My theory is they pre make everything in bulk and keep on burner. My home fries were cold and my eggs were cold and runny...ew. The country fried steak was decent with gravy. The grits were over cooked and sticky. Eggs Benedict decent as well. We stopped in on a weekday for lunch and it was not very busy. The service was friendly and attentive. The iced tea was excellent; not all teas have the right blend of strength and sweetness like they do. We ordered sandwiches which came with cole slaw and a pickle. Normally I consider the Cole slaw and pickle more of a plate decoration than an integral part of the meal. I liked that they served the slaw and pickle first, like an appetizer, while we were waiting for main food. The Cole slaw had great taste, just the right amount of tang. I'd say 85% of restaurants don't get it right. And the pickle tasted homemade, not from a jar off the shelf. The triple decker BLT was generously stuffed with bacon. The soup of the day, chicken orzo, was flavorful and creamy. The crinkle cut French fries were crispy and perfectly cooked. My only slight criticism was that the egg salad was mostly egg whites and a little on the bland side. I would recommend this breakfast/lunch spot and I'd return to try other menu items. read more

I'm never coming back here again. Brought my father here for father's day, today. I get restaurants like this get busy because it's very cute and i've been here before and I loved it. We got our food, Lisa, our waitress, she took my dads plate while we were all done eating and asked if i wanted a box. 10 minutes go by. She asks again if i wanted a box and took everyone else's plates. 30 minutes later! I see Lisa caring more about her new tables, taking orders and talking to them, and acted like we were nothing. we've been done eating for 40-45 minutes at this point. went up front and asked for the bill and a box. and Lisa says "so I heard you were waiting for 20 minutes for your check? real smart of you", complained to the guy again saying that was rude of her, and he said ' Okay? I don't know what to do about that." and shook his hands up in the air. And LISA comes back to table, " look now you guys got me in trouble" Let's just say, I'm never going back again, that service was unnecessary. I've worked in restaurants all my life, you don't treat paying customers like that, EVER. read more

My bf and I were visiting in the area and wanted something "different" for breakfast. Honestly I've gotten quite tired of eating at a chain and having a sub-par meal, at best. We found this classy little place and decided it was worth a shot! The building is very cute, decent parking for the space inside. It is kind of a hassle to get out of if you are going back towards 19. Not too much just a tiny hassle :) The waitress was very fast and efficient. Nice but could have been a tad bit more friendly, if that makes sense. Very to the point. But she checked on us quite a bit and was always right back with whatever we needed. The food is why I rated a 4 and not a 5. I got the country Benedict (I believe that's what it was called) It was good, I wasn't a fan of the home fries. Would have liked to have another option for a potato. He got the NY steak and eggs. The steak was kind of small and from what he said it was pretty bland. He had to ask for A1 to get thru it. It's been quite awhile since I've visited and dined inside at what used to be one of my local favorites. It's obvious that there has been a change in ownership and or management as the service Is now poor at best. During our visit We were promptly seated in an otherwise empty dining room ( 3 total tables occupied ). After seating us, The host immediately went back to sitting down and playing on his cell phone. We then waited about 5 minutes for a server to visit our table. We ordered, the food arrived at our table in approx 5 minutes. Good news is the food was hot and fresh. menu is still the same and the food quality was still good. This could once again be a great little restaurant if someone knew how to properly run it. read more

We just moved here from tampa and are very glad we found this place off the beaten path you have to know it's here or be referred by someone to know about it. It is exceptionally clean and completely modern and new. The only place I could say that compares in tampa is first watch. If I had known this place was here I would have driven from tampa for it. Owner is extremely attentive mentioned to me he was making fresh coffee as he passed the table. My only complaint is they close at 230 and on Sundays maybe until 330 would be better. read more

I've been going to Madison four years now at least once a week I have yet to I have a Bad meal . The service was fantastic as always . Food is always hot. The owner might be tough but a great guy and he takes very good care of his employees . For you people don't think he delivers great meal and fair price stay with Bob Evans and IHOP or some of them other chain restaurants. They feature Specialty omelettes. I don't know what is so special. I had a ham and cheese omelette. There was hardly any ham and the ham that was in there was diced so small that it was hardly noticeable and about a tablespoon amount. The cheese was not melted because the omelette was not hot.
