This is the best smoke shop in Ramona. I had an issue with some glass I had bought, and an employee informed me they didn't do returns, even if glass was unused. I was very unhappy that I was screwed. Even came home and left a nasty review. HOWEVER, I just spoke with the owner and feel much better. The employee wasn't correct with his policy. This is an update of my last experience at Main Street smoke shop... I talked to the gentleman who is normally there the guy that is the main manager.... He apologize for the actions of his employee which I found out is not the 1st complaint about him.... Which I wasn't surprised with his attitude... But now I am very happy I purchased a piece that I wanted to purchase the night I decided not to spend money there... And the boss gave me a $20 discount which allowed me to buy a new nail for my peace... And guess what this guy did not yell at my wife like the other guy did..... The red bang flume float I bought here doesn't even taste like it should and on top of that they won't even make it right. I've been shopping here for the past 3 years but they should be doing better now that we have dispensaries open. Main smoke shop has the type of vibe of shop to where you go there to get cheap ass tobacco and kratom and maybe pick up a piece to smoke crack out of. They have weed pieces but they do not sell anything of quality whatsoever. Everything they sell can be bought off of amazon.com or dhgate.com for hundreds of dollars cheaper with free shipping . I've tried to ask them questions about pieces I want to buy and they've been hostile towards me if I caught them in not knowing something they "should" know......instead of just saying "I'm sorry I'll have to ask my boss about that" type of answer like sometimes the workers wanna argue and get defensive and be hostile.....I think that's just the downfall of having a bad turnaround rate which it seems like this headshop has too.....not a lot of experts or even amateurs or even people who know what a dab is actually.soooo.......yeah. The staff is great here but every time I've bought a disposable vape it's either burnt or tastes burnt within a day... they let you hit it right after you buy it to exchange it right then and there which is a plus but like I said, it typically loses flavor within the day. I went in 5 days ago to purchase a water pipe. The attendant pointed me toward a $125 water pipe and he said I could put it in the freezer and it will cool down the water so the smoke isn't as harsh I tried that the next day and the pipe broke in many pieces. I cut my hands to pieces. I returned it the next day and they wouldn't exchange it or give me my money back. I ended up buying a cheaper pipe, but when they give you advice and it ruins the pipe two days later, you would think that they would stand behind the product and at least give me a discount on the new one or talk to the maker of the pipe and allow me to get a new one. The attendant told me there was nothing to do I was out of money. That's very bad for business and I feel ripped off! read more
