I unfortunately wasn't the biggest fan when my boyfriend and I got acai bowls here earlier today. We didn't go inside so I can't say my review has anything to do with the staff or environment, but the food was a let down. We're new to getting acai bowls but wanted to try this place out because it's local to my mom and sister. First off, we hated that the acai itself was very melted (like soup) and overly sweet, it was honestly hard to eat because it was like a cake batter flavor, which I love lol but not when I'm expecting something fruity... We love acai bowls for the fact that they are partially frozen, refreshing and not super heavy but this was the total opposite! Also acai bowls are kinda known for being instagram-able and pretty, but ours weren't. Also it was VERY pricy... $30 for 2 bowls and a smoothie. Probably won't be back. read more

My first visit here I went through the drive thru and the cashier was super friendly. He let me try samples of several different juices and during this process I found my absolute favorite juice. I LOVE the vision juice. I recently went on a cruise and they made pressed juices and I gave the ingredients from the vision and it was not the same. So now I know the only place to get my favorite juice is here. They are a bit pricey for a juice so it's a nice treat I get for myself every now and then. Lately they have had a special for 4 10oz juices for $27. I find I like this deal because I have extra juices for another day and the 10oz juices I do let sit for too long. They also offer smoothies and other items but I've only had the juice. If you like pressed juices I would recommend trying this out. I'm not sure if they press the juice in the restaurant because they have always been served to me in pre packages bottles but definitely worth checking out. read more

I went to Main Squeeze Juice Co. for the first time a few weeks ago. As other reviewer's have stated, it is super cute. If you have ever been to the Silos at Magnolia it is styled similar to that. There are two comfy couches and a few bar stools @ counter height to sit and eat. They have many juices in a large open cooler on the left-hand side. They do have free samples of any juice that you would like to purchase. However @ $9.00 each juice, I think that is overpriced. Many of the juices had settled. And you could tell since they are prepared fresh, that different juices had different volumes of sediment to liquid ratio. I did order 2 x 8oz. açai bowls "to go". It is five dollars per 8oz. bowl or $10 for 16oz. An 8oz. bowl is a normal size portion. As other reviewer's have mentioned it did take well over 5 minutes for the bowls to be prepared. I believe this is because açai is always shipped frozen and so the kitchen has to thaw and then mix up the açai and then add all of the toppings. They do give you a plastic spoon to take with you. All in all, I would recommend Main Squeeze for the açai bowls. I will not pay $9 for one drink. The location is right in front of Hobby Lobby and I think they even have a drive-through! I recommend this restaurant for their many açai bowl variety. read more

After eight weeks of the store being opened, I figured that all the kinks had been worked out - so it was time to pay it a visit. The store sits at the former location of Elevation Burger - a "healthy" alternative for a hamburger. It was very apropos to see that a juice company, which is for the health nut crowd, took over the space. The inside has a modern feel to it. White takes over to give it a sense of purity and a "clean" feeling. Upon coming in, I was immediately greeted. I was asked if it was my first time here. Since it was my first time there, the cashier (I did not catch her name) showed the refrigerated display they have with all their juices and she explained what made their juice so special. Main Squeeze Juice Company focuses on making juices that are preservative free. They are made fresh daily and are in fact so pure, that they juice separates. On the bottle it does say to consume within twenty four hours. Each juice in the refrigerated display, has a sample for you to taste before you buy. Their "Detox" juice is what I liked. It is made with Filtered Water, Lemon, Agave and Activated Charcoal. The lemon is well pronounced and it gives it a refreshing taste. The Agave sweetens it just right. Additionally to the "Detox" juice, I also ordered a "Green Protein" smoothie. During the explanation, the cashier had mentioned that their smoothies are made without ice - in fact they use frozen fruit to give it the frozen consistency. Their smoothies are also Dairy Free, they use alternative "milks" such as Almond Milk and Rice Milk. The "Green Protein" smoothies is made with Almond Milk, Banana, Peanut Butter, Spirulina and Hemp Protein. The result is a creamy smoothie with a light Banana flavor. The Spirulina gives it a nice earthy note and the peanut butter gives it the creamy mouthfeel and a nice peanut like flavor. I enjoyed it and I would order it again. All in all, Main Squeeze isn't for everybody. It is catered more for the "Health Nut" in mind. The juices and smoothies are not going to have that sweetness that one would come to expect from other smoothie shops. The juices are going to be more "bright" versus the ones you find at a store. However, I do recommend you try it at least once. I do have a sneaky feeling that everyone will find something they like. read more

About time this place made a yelp account. I have been watching this place remodel to a juice bar for a while. I came in on the first day of business and I must say I was impressed. Friendly staff which where still in training but knowledgeable enough. I ended up really likening the juice but to be honest I felt it was a little expensive. This place is perfect if you want to do a full week cleans or just a meal replacement. They have a wide verity of juice and everything was super fresh. My wife and I were curious about this place since it opened. We decided to try it because we tried pretty much other juice bars and this one... the business puts in a lot of thoughts on its interior decor and making sure the place remains clean. Price wise is a bit up compare to the other juice bar but the package the the hand written date makes me think the juice I am getting is guarantee fresh. We ordered the number 3 detox and number 7 burn. The taste of the juice is delicious and refreshing! I notice they have several meal replacement shake which I will try. Super disappointed in this location. I've been here a couple of times and really like the protein smoothie. I stopped by today to grab a drink at around 6:00pm. I know now that they were closed but after sitting in the drive thru for five minutes then pulling up to the window, O was completely ignored. I even knocked on the window a good four or five times before driving to the front and seeing the business hours on the front door. The entire time this girl ignored me. It would have taken all of two seconds to open the window and say they were closed. I probably won't come back. I hate rude people. Went by the drive thru this morning to try it out, you can't even read the menu because the sun reflects back at you basically blinding you so the barista had to talk me thru what it even said. I went here for some brunch and ordered the açaí nut bowl and also got a juice called Awaken with lemon, apple, ginger, and cinnamon. I've actually been to main squeeze before just in sugarland, though I prefer the katy location. The açaí nut bowl is amazing, though a little pricey it's very refreshing and a good amount compared to açaí bowls in other stores. Some açaí bowls tend to be a little snowcone-y but the texture of this bowl is perfect. Not too soupy, very smooth. Though it did take a while for the bowl to be prepared, it's understandable. I would love to come back and try all the other bowls this place provides. I'm not sure if it's just me but they have size options in the katy branch (the regular for 6.50 and the larger for 9.95) and i didnt see this in the sugarland branch. The 6.50 bowl was the perfect amount for me and made me feel full but not in an un-healthy way. Love that they have this option :) The juice was actually a lot better than i assumed it would be, it tasted like apple pie (though very pricey...) About 9 dollars for a bottle is a bit much. It's very convenient that it had a sample. idk if it was placebo but i did feel a lot "cleaner" after finishing it. This place is great, compared to other juicing places in the Houston/Katy area, their flavoring is so much better. I have been trying their "coffee mylk" before working out and it does the job , gives me energy and keeps me full even after working out.
