This spot is the first acai spot in the city I've found that carries Brazilian street food and Brazilian soda. What a treat! Overall, even though my chicken coxinha came straight from the heat lamp, and my bowl was a bit difficult to eat, packed to the brim with toppings, I'm not complaining. I bet the fresh coxinha would be fire as they were pretty dang good after sitting. My very berry bowl was refreshing. The acai was tart and just about the right sweetness level after adding honey. Again, they really pack on the toppings, and the coconut flakes are thinly sliced, wide slivers of perfection! On my trip I was the only one who did not take their order to go, but I'm fine with that, the shop was clean and I don't mind the extra space to stretch out. Nothing really stood out in terms of customer service, or product, but everything was satisfactory enough to earn a return visit! Açaí Brasil, I'll be back!

I'm late to the açaí superfoods craze. This incredible berry has been popularized the past few years as a very beneficial berry full of nutrients. I stopped here for dessert after eating dinner in the same shopping strip. The inside was bright and clean. I was surprised to learn that they served Brazilian street food here as well, which I will have to try at a later time. Smoothies are also offered here as well, but the star of the show are the açaí bowls. There's many combinations to choose from, with a mixture of mostly fruit or granola toppings. The fruit was nice and fresh. You can even swap out the açaí for dragon fruit. It's definitely a healthier option than ice cream or gelato and just as yummy! The $12 price tag for a medium cup with less than half of it being açaí is pretty high, but the tasty high quality ingredients show through. Definitely worth another visit!

Açaí Brasil comes in clutch because there is not many açaí places on this side of town. This place is nice and big and offers plenty of seating. It's clean inside and out and has easy parking! They offer many açaí and smoothie options! They also offer Brazilian street food! I chose to build my own açaí bowl which was made up of: açaí, granola, blueberries, coconut flakes, a scoop of Nutella & condensed milk! It was delicious but I am used to a bigger portion at mamaka bowls for a small. I paid around $11. They charge you $.75 for honey and at mamaka's they have the honey out and you can pour how ever much you want without extra charge. The young lady taking my order was nice and didn't give me a hard time about anything. Overall this place is nice to have around for when I'm craving açaí I don't want to drive all the way in to the city.

All I can say is....A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! The friendly staff, the cleanliness of the establishment and the freshness and taste of my Acai bowl! I have been searching for a place just like this....OHHHH BOY.....this is now my new favorite place

The place is really neat and clean, they have a bunch of different types of acai bowls, they sell juices too. The service was really quick and the girls are really nice and friendly. The service is great!

This place is so refreshing. Açaí bowls are always made to order and have the sweetest fruit. They pack your bowls with bold flavors. I customize my own bowl considering I don't like many things in my bowls but the menu gives you variety and you can't go wrong with any of them!

What a great find! There aren't many healthy options around these parts so I was delighted to find this place when I looked up "juicing", and wasn't disappointed. They make the juices fresh in front of you and there's no added sugar. The dessert fruit cups smell amazing. I didn't get to try them since I bought them for someone else but they looked fresh. We also bought some of there empanada looking food and they were tasty. I'll definitely be returning.

Ordered an Acai bowl online and it was ready within 5 minutes! This time around I ordered a half Acai half pitaya bowl with strawberry, banana, and mango topped with granola and honey. The pitaya was so good, and the fruit was perfectly ripe and sweet even without the honey. One of the better acai spots in Houston. Definitely a great treat for a hot day. The only reason I knocked off a star was they got my order wrong and only included pitaya.

I had to alter the number a time or two and I had no issues doing so online. I forgot to mention we needed a high chair and they were able to accommodate that last second as well. The restaurant is located in the Galleria area in a shopping strip across from the mall. Parking is plentiful and I like that we were not forced to use valet though it is available. I always show up first and they allowed me to be seated while waiting for the rest of my party. We started with one waiter but was helped by quite a few different people throughout. Customer service was friendly but at times we did have to wait for food. Because we chose to do the HRW Experience, they switched out the cards at the table that show when we wanted more or less food. The switch was made to show that we had less options than the full experience the restaurant usually offers. Even with less options, we had plenty to choose from. We had plans to drink after, so we decided to skip drinks. I know people say the salad bar at any Brazilian steakhouse should be skipped to avoid getting full before the meats, but I personally love them. It's usually a salad bar on steroids and here was no exception. At first glance it seemed smaller than other places, but what they did offer was great. I would say it's better than most actually. The hot options like shrimp stroganoff and goulash were very tasty. The charcuterie, candied bacon and salad options were top notch as well. I practiced restraint and only did one pass even though I was tempted to get more. For the main meal, they start you off with the famous Brazilian cheese bread. These things are addicting and done very well here. Once you are ready for the meats, you turn your card to green and wait for the barrage of meat to come at you. What I like about this place was that most of their cuts of meat were seasoned very well. Some were better than the others like the picanha and the spicy top sirloin. The sausage and pork ribs were delicious. I did find some were overcooked even when requesting a certain temp. I think we got lucky and was served some of their premium items like the beef ribs. That item was outstanding. It's like they teased us to let us know what we were missing and what we need to come back for. We ended with a few desserts. I got the creme brulee which I thought was very good and an excellent way to finish out our indulgent meal. We have no shortage of Brazilian steakhouses in Houston, but I think Casa Do Brasil is up there as one of the better ones. I very much enjoyed my meal here and would definitely come back when the meat cravings hit.

We had a reservation for 3 at 6:45 PM and were seated promptly with no issues. Chama has a reputation for being the best Brazilian steakhouse in Houston, and I have always considered it as such. The service is phenomenal and consistent, unlike other AYCE churrascarias that do a big wave of meat up front and then ignore your table. However, Chama has changed significantly since the last time I was here a few years ago. Most noticeably, the price has gone up significantly. I don't blame them with the beef price increase in the US but it is a hefty tag. Secondly, several dishes are basically upon-request. The lobster bisque, for example, is no longer self-service. Additionally, sausage and some meats come very rarely and should be asked for so they can be prepared. Salad bar: I'd say relatively standard, I usually load up on the salmon, a piece of pork belly, and some asparagus and cheeses to reset meat flavors. Overall, for the popular cuts, I tried to get a bit of each. My general ratings are as follows, but I would emphasize that relative to other spots they are great cuts in general. New York Strip (3/5): Incredibly buttery almost to the point of oily. Rack of lamb (4.5/5): Deliciously gamey, very tender Picanha (5/5): The house special and well deserved; extremely tender and flavorful. Bottom sirloin (3.5/5): Slightly less heavy than the NY Strip but overall wouldn't take too much over the better cuts. Ribeye (4.5/5): Right behind the picanha in terms of tender meats. Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon (2.5-4.5/5): I had one piece that was actually pretty tough, and another that was perfect. Don't let it sit too long I guess. Upon request (did not come around in the first ~hour): Shrimp (4/5): Quite salty, but really good mix in flavors Costela (Beef rib) (5/5): Fatty, delicious flavors, really tender. Don't let it get cold. Sausage (2/5): Too fatty for me but it was enjoyed by others I was with. Other things that came around rarely - polenta, the fried cheese they can put honey on, and some other sides. But, everything will come if you ask. Lastly, their flan is very rich and sharable and we got it to-go after getting stuffed (for a birthday). Shoutout to our fantastic waitress Romy for being attentive to allergies and getting us the cuts we really wanted. Chama is definitely still a fantastic spot to celebrate something or really indulge. I've got to be careful with cholesterol and reset afterwards though.

Besides the typical cuts like picanha, top sirloin, bottom sirloin, and lamb chops, Avenida also offers Wagyu steak, ribeye, NY strip, salmon, shrimp, and even lobster soup. I prefer my steaks medium rare, and the meat was incredibly tender. My favorites were the top sirloin, lamb chops, and filet mignon. The service was phenomenal. They don't play the usual games that many Brazilian steakhouses do by bringing out the cheaper cuts first to fill you up. Instead, they consistently walk around serving a wide variety of meats throughout the meal, which really elevated the experience. Honestly, the only thing holding this restaurant back is the interior design and exterior appearance. I can barely notice the restaurant while driving by because the outside signage and overall presentation don't stand out. Meanwhile, Fogo de Chão (in Katy for example) catches attention immediately because the building and interior feel upscale and polished. Avenida seriously has better meat quality in my opinion, but the restaurant could benefit greatly from renovating the interior, improving the lighting, and creating a more modern and inviting romantic vibe. The food and service deserve a much busier crowd.

Time to Appetizers: 20 minutes Time to Entree: 25 minutes Arrived at 2:30PM on a Saturday and were directed to sit anywhere. We sat near the buffet, which was a bit unclear. There was a live guitarist/singer playing which was a fantastic vibe. A complimentary basket of four pieces of cheese bread was brought out, excellent way to start the meal! For two people, we ordered: 2x Coxinha (3.5/5): While the chicken is a tad dry, it's complimented well by the creamy sauce 1x Kibe (3/5): Reminded me of a meatball crossed with a falafel, like something you'd order on a skewer. Not too grainy and a nice smoky flavor. 1x Risole de Camarao (4.5/5): I thought this was a better version of the Coxinha. The shrimp flavor really permeates and reminds you of a shrimp risotto in a single bite. Churrasco Gaucho (16oz) (2/5): We decided to get this to sample all of the meats. Unfortunately I thought everything was really salty. Maybe it's characteristic of the Brazilian grilling style, because the smoky flavors did come through, but it just felt too salty for me on everything. Honestly maybe it just needed some kind of vegetable besides beans to help offset. Whatever their chili sauce is (5/5): I have no idea what this is but it reminds me of mashed up bird eye chili sauce..it's really good. Sprinkle it on everything. Helps with the saltiness of things. Milk Flan (4/5): A rich custard style of flan, thick and very sharable. Not too sweet. I liked this as a great palate cleanser. Service was really prompt and friendly. Paid via inKind with no issues.
