Came back a second time because i had a good impression from the first. I ordered the jasmine milk tea to mix it up and it tasted like no sugar was added to it at all which is just incredibly odd for a boba shop. I also didn't ask for any sugar adjustment so I wonder if someone just forgot to add in sweetener. A spacious teahouse! Employees are great, very nice and the tea is delicious! I went here to study for finals and it was really nice. There are so many tables (even couches) that it was easy to choose a place to sit. My go-to order here is the thai green tea, so refreshing! 3/28 @ 6:20p We frequently visit Kim's as our usual boba and snack spot. Always get the same 3 drinks and calamari. It's always been on point for us but for some reason today, the wait was longer than usual and our drink was bland. Kids complained the avocado smoothie tasted bland, milk tea diluted and calamari batter was off and no flavor. Very odd. I ordered through doordash and got it delivered. I ordered the egg rolls, French fries, and popcorn chicken medium heat with two sweet and sour sauces. The egg rolls were really good and 5 came in them with some shreds carrot on the side. The popcorn chicken was a really good amount and had the perfect little kick to it that I wanted. The fries were also a good amount despite me only paying 2.5 for it!! There were tasty but nothing special just good French fries haha. It was only me eating it and I still have at least half of my food left, so keep that in mind. It came in a timely manner which means it was cooked in a timely manner as well. I love Kim's Tea House! I've been to the Hwy 6 location many times before, so I'm so glad they've been growing and expanding to a few areas around Houston, because they are awesome! Their milk teas are really good, I especially like the brown sugar milk tea. They have an extensive drink menu to choose from too, so guaranteed you'll order something that you'll love. I love red bean so opted for the red bean smoothie. The bf opted for the strawberry banana smoothie and mom got the avocado smoothie. My red bean smoothie was rich, creamy, and pretty good. The boba was chewy and the perfect consistency, though on the smaller side so the chew factor was cut by this reason. The strawberry banana smoothie was too sweet and tasted almost syrupy. Didn't try the avocado one so can't review that. Overall, it was an ok experience - maybe we just didn't order the right things. I didn't even know this specific Kim's Tea House location existed till we stumbled upon it after eating dinner nearby. I was impressed! This location is very big! Lots of outlets, tables, chairs, etc. Perfect spot to get some studying or work done on a laptop, or go here with a group of friends to hang out/play games. I realized that all of Kim's Tea House are unique yet their ambience/interior decor ties in together. Randomly stumble upon this area and one of the bigger Kim's Tea House I've been to with space. Servers are always friendly. I love how you can ask for less sugar and fresh fruit used if you get a smoothie. Smoothies/shakes are good but not as good as other locations I've been to. Seems more watered down. Popcorn chicken are dark meat and you can choose your spice level. They MIGHT use MSG or maybe their level of salt brings out spice. However, medium spice rarely had any spice and I got a lot of crumb pieces. It was more salty than spice. I tried the regular popcorn chicken and it was slightly more salty than I like. Another downside is I wish they use a loud speaker of some sort to call out your name when your order is complete. Came here on a Tuesday afternoon with some friends and easily parked right outside. There was no line, and there were only a handful of people inside when we arrived. I ordered the artichoke tea, which comes with a bunch of toppings already. My total was $5.41 before tip, which is pretty impressive for a drink with multiple toppings! I didn't adjust the sweetness or ice at all, which was the right move for me. I typically don't like sweet drinks, but this drink is naturally not very sweet. This Kim's is so much more spacious and open than the one on highway 6 that I go to most of the time. Customer service was okay. I got the artichoke tea and it didn't taste right, something about the tea was off. Whenever I order ubereats and get the Thai Green Tea, it's so delicious. That's my all time favorite.
