    Lox bagel

Still love them to this day ! My last review is still accurate! They can get busy and run out of all the yummy bagels they have to offer so I'd call ahead of time to see what they have available. You can still buy the cream cheese they use for home . I'm never disappointed with my food even tho sometimes customer service can be tricky due to language barriers . I'd still recommend them for bagels in the San Leandro / Oakland area . They have seating inside as well I don't think I ever mentioned that . It's quaint nothing fancy but you can sit and eat or take it to go / order over the phone as well .

Cinnamon crunch with cream cheese and bacon

Anytime Im visiting my long distance boyfriend, we make sure to stop here for a quick breakfast at least once! The cinnamon crunch is my favorite! I always get cream cheese and crispy bacon and its delicious, perfect combo of sweet with a little savory from the bacon. I also love any of their cinnamon crunch bagel variations! Blueberry is also a classic. My boyfriend loves his jalapeno cheese with herb cream cheese and tomatoes. The cookies and cream shake is delicious and you cant go wrong with a vietnamese coffee! Dont be surprised if theyre sold out of your favorite bagel cause this place is popular and gets busy! Love this family owned spot

Nova lox sandwich on jalapeño cheese bagel

3.5 stars Recommend calling ahead especially during the morning rush! Nova lox was $10.75 before tax. Nonfat cappuccino was ok, what you expect at a bagel shop. Liked the added pickles in the nova lox. Jalapeño cheese bagel was more dense and hard than my liking. Solid spot for grab and go around the area

I've been coming to Main Street Bagels for the past 5+ years and can say that they've successfully satisfied my cravings every.. single.. time. The bagels are very consistent -- chewy, crunchy, perfect amount of softness. I've had multiple different bagels here and they're all fantastic. It appears that the bagel shop is family owned and I've seen reviews that their service isn't the best but I haven't had issues. The employees work very fast pace, considering how busy they usually are, I don't mind the service. They aren't rude at all, just more straight to the point trying to get you your order and go. I'm hooked on the #4 which is the nova lox, cream cheese and red onion combo (yes I remove everything else.) I've tried it on an everything bagel, onion bagel, poppy seed bagel, garlic bagel, spinach parm bagel, Asiago bagel, jalepeno cheese bagel and it's 5/5 every time. I've also had their humongous ham & cheese croissants and #s 1-3. There is indoor and outdoor seating but it's a 10 minute meal at most so not many dine in, at least I know I don't. I've tried lox and combination bagels elsewhere before but can say hands down, Main Street Bagels is my all time favorite. Please don't ever leave us Main Street Bagels, I'm here to consume the deliciousness until the end of me.

    Bagel options 10am Saturday

Bagels are good. Service was slow even though they had five people behind the counter. Bagel selection slim at 10am on a Saturday. Only a couple tables inside. Bagel with turkey and tomatoes plus a water $10.

Great find! Totally a local place, the front was covered up right now, but plenty of people inside making it an obvious local hot spot! easy menu, great selection, and continuous fresh bagels being made. there's a few tables inside and a tiny back patio. the workers behind the counter were friendly, and quickly worked through the long line. the eggs on my bagel were light and fluffy, we also got a blueberry bagel and cream cheese that was so light and fresh! great place, happy to come back if I'm in the area

PLENTY of bagel options to choose from

Pretty mediocre in my opinion. Kind of a long wait time even when there's nobody in line.

I like to look for new spins on lattes to see what barista's are whipping up to make things unique. I came in thinking I was going to get a basic latte, but the Borgia Mocha caught my eye! I asked the cashier if it was a good choice and she recommended it. I was a little unsure how the two would blend and how much orange they would use in it, but it came out amazing! Honestly probably one of the top 10 unique mocha's I have tried and it was delicious! I loved the burst of refreshing orange that complimented the chocolate. The flavors danced on my tastebuds like two separate flavors that blended together as one. Each holding their own note that added value to the drink making it unique. I was instantly impressed and wish I found this on more menus! A classic mocha with a refreshing twist of orange was a pleasant surprise! I'm so glad I stopped in for a pick me up! I also loved all the art on the large walls and there looked to be plenty of tables and seating for people to eat and work at.

Was meeting up with a friend from Berkeley and he found this spot in between the both of us. Pros and cons! + The coffee - holy shit. Got a cortado. And drank it without sugar it was so good. A touch of bitter (it's coffee - duh!) but so smooth, almost nutty but buttery at the same time. + Got a chicken salad sandwich. It came stacked HIGH with hints of sweetness and curry. Freshest produce. Honestly, I was hungry but could only eat half of it, it was so big. + Friend got a warmed cinnamon bun. Incredible. Yeasty, chewy almost crisp on the outside but pillowy soft on the inside. + Wide open space inside -- high ceilings, one big central area. Not tucked away spaces -- which might or might not match your preference. + Perfect amount of coffeehouse buzz. Music playing lowish in the background and lots of conversations. Just enough to quell my ADHD tendencies. * Honestly can't think of any negatives. Prices are a bit high but happy to pay it for such a quality experience. I think my cortado was decently priced -- maybe $6 or so? Sandwich was $18 or so but done really well and came with a bowl of soup (chips, fruit, and something else was an option instead of soup, but tomato bisque with a sandwich? Divine.) - An hour away from where I live but if you live anywhere East Bay, my curse is your blessing ;-)

Not a lot of taco spots are open late at 10p but I saw that PNT was open. My family and I pulled into the driveway and were confused because it looked and sounded like a bar. There were a few people standing outside and I asked if this was a bar or restaurant and the gentleman said it's a restaurant. We walk in and got some stares because it was late and we had kids. Didn't matter to us. Everything on the menu sounded delish and they had al day breakfast items. We ended up going with the following: 1. Chicken sandwich- 10/10 my teen loved this. It was a crispy thinly sliced chicken breast with all the fixings, and pressed to perfection. 2. Chicken Caesar salad - 10/10 the lettuce was Romain, tossed in Caesar dressing and parm, with grilled chicken filet. 3. 4 tacos de asada - 10/10 yummy chopped steak, seasoned and grilled to perfection. I'm not sure if the evening chef cooks better or maybe we were starving, but the food was great! Ambience at the time was pretty loud but I figure it's because people hanging out in the bar area. Definitely will be back.

NOT WORTH MY $44 !…read more I got these food items: Asada tacos- 1/2 of the taco meat was just big oily chunks of fat, I spat it out immediately. Rest of it was tolerable to chew. Tortilla was dry and oily. Al Pastor tacos- bland meat with a lingering dry pepper aftertaste that makes the meat taste old. Took one bite and was immediately repulsed. Chips and dip (guac and salsa)- chips are oily and hard to chew. Guac was bland, no garlic or cut tomato. Salsa was a viscous sludge in a small tub, had the same pepper taste as the Al Pastor. Horchata drink- too much cinnamon and saw multiple lidded to go cups of this already made in the fridge behind the register, no expiration dates on them. ALSO PLEASE UPDATE THE PRICES ON YOUR MENU, I was charged $11.95 for the chips and dip but the menu says "house chips and guac $9.50" ... how is salsa $2.45? Only positive thing I would mention is that the free tiny salsa, slice of lime, sliced radish, and pickled jalapeño and carrot was nice of them. Wish the pickled veggies didn't drip vinegar all over the bag (it was wrapped in tin foil). Never been here before and never coming back again.

Parking was tricky, and I was trying to figure out how to park. Did not realize you couldn't order one thing or alacarte like a bakery. I rang a doorbell, and the "lobby" was a tiny cramped room that looks like it led to an industrial kitchen through a heavy door. You have to buy in bulk and they give you a giant box of frozen piroshki (12 pieces per box, all one flavor, can't mix and match, no variety box) that can be microwaved or put in the oven. That was awkward, and since I went through the trouble coming here, I decided to just buy a box of chicken rice and cheese. They say beef and cheese is their topmost popular choice, and chicken rice and cheese is also popular. For their box of frozen pierogis, you have to defrost and heat up in the microwave. Thaw at room temperature 1.5-2 hours, or put in fridge overnight. Got a sample of beef and cheese. She said it was kind of frozen so she went to get me another one. She was so nice! Once I bit into it, it was hearty and hot and so so indulgent and savory! Credit card payment goes to Galant Food.
