There is a parking lot in front, as well as street parking. Once inside, pick up was easy and fast; the owner was responsive and friendly--so were the other patrons in the deli/store. (They all smiled as we entered and were so helpful so we could find the right places to check out. This must be the nicest neighborhood!) The attached store had a large selection of snack chips and drinks--I didn't go down the aisle but it seemed to have a variety of items for quick pick-up. Sandwiches were fresh--soft tasty Dutch crunch rolls, packed with meat, cheese and veggies, and the added avocado was fresh slices. We drove up to Lake Chabot, and none of our sandwiches were soggy, as can happen when you don't eat them right away. I will be happy to come again for these delicious sandwiches!

With most lots like this you can't be compelled to pay the tickets - only when the city issues tickets are they enforceable. The plaza is privately owned, and everything is leased out. So does San Leandro own it? Does the plaza owner think these meters are good for our city? I think the plaza owner will be happy to know that I am on the case and I've never lost a war in my life. I lose fights often, strategically, but never the grand scheme battles. Issues that affect my fellow citizens (like this) are a marathon, and I sprint through them. I promise these meters will be removed. If they refuse, I will demand an appropriate sacrifice from the plaza ownership. If the city somehow owns this plaza and installed these meters - Is San Leandro in need of our quarters that badly, and if so, why don't these even accept quarters? Only allowing electronic pay is certainly a decision. They probably expect us all to be robots in a few years and want to get their infrastructure ready to squeeze the oil out of us when that day comes. I used to get tickets in parking lots in Walnut Creek and would just tear them up. It never came back to haunt me. If I kept parking in those same lots I suppose they could eventually tow the car but I wouldn't give them the opportunity. I still like lowkey small businesses like this one, no frills or decorations, just show up for food. As far as sandwiches go I don't think this is my preference but they come across as very nice and consistent. Other people like this place, it seems. I don't like cold stack sandwiches unless some attention goes into the accents so I'm not the target audience here. The lady at the front was very friendly but this isn't really a sit down service place, they just give you the food.

On YouTube I watched an episode of eatlikeanapex, which is a food channel on YouTube whose host Christian goes to different places to eat with a lot of focus on Filipino eateries. One of the episodes I watched featured Fresh Pizza Restaurant because of the crispy pata, which by most customers have stated to be the best in the Bay Area. I had to find out myself. I came here to Fresh Pizza Restaurant about two months ago for lunch. I ordered the jumbo crispy pata and a cup of garlic rice. Most of the orders were takeout only, but I asked if I could dine inside the restaurant. I was able to sit at a table across from the counter. From appearance the skin and meat on the crispy pata were crispy. The skin was crispy to my delight however I was concerned the meat on the crispy pata would be too crunchy and dry. Oh I was wrong. Even though the meat on the outside is crispy the meat inside was moist. I don't know if Fresh Pizza Restaurant serves the best crispy pata in the Bay Area, but the crispy pata I ate here is what I have been waiting for. The crispy pata as a whole was moist yet not fatty. I didn't feel bloated when I was eating the crispy pata. Having the soy sauce and garlic rice cut the richness of the crispy pata.
