We were looking forward to eating here based on the reviews - however upon entering the restaurant, we waited by the sign that stated "please wait to be seated" for at least 5 minutes while 5 different staff personnel walked past us - totally ignoring us. I see that the hours posted on Yelp say closing time is 1:30pm. However, the large sign outside says "seating till 1:45." We arrived at 1:41. The waitress said "We are no longer seating." So we are now seated at Sweet Darlene's down the road enjoying a sweet and friendly atmosphere and home cookin'. The restaurant is ok just never go on Monday. I'm not sure if it is the management or cook but this was my second Monday in 2 weeks and the food is just average. Also the way it looks on the plate is horrible. It's just thrown on the plate. No pride in presentatIon. My over medium eggs were brown my hash browns looked like slop and were cold. I have been there on Monday Tuesday and Friday and Friday is by far the best day. It's sad that the restaurant is only good on certain days but Monday is a disaster there. read more

Definitely a gem to be found in the beautiful town of Quartzsite. If you're driving by or if you're going to visit, Main Street Eatery is definitely the place to grab some food. On a road trip to attend the jazz festival in Parker sponsored by the local American Legion and on the way back stopped and had breakfast in this wonderful little local eatery. It has a laundromat attached, (where restrooms are located) and it seems locals do their laundry and come on over for some very tasty food. Prices are very reasonable, and the owner/lady running the place was so personable. I was asking about the gravy while eating my breakfast and she said next time just ask to taste it ahead of ordering. It is very hard to find a place with good sausage gravy and the fact she would let one taste it first, is wonderful. Needless to say,I enjoyed a regular breakfast with eggs, thick bacon slices and toast. We will stop here next year as well. read more

This place is fantastic. It is odd situated next to a laundromat but food was out of this world and the service was quick and personable. I had a special called cowboy nachos and my husband had the beer cheese soup. Both were delicious. Everything on the menu looked to be homemade. Give this place a try.
