If you need a plumber don't use this Guy or any of his other services…read more Yes a plumber as well If anything like his plumbing business he represents your chimney may come down on you If you are need of a plumber please do not use this guy who contacts you through Nextdoor Neighbor. His name is Nicholas Bridgwood tel no 516-642-8275. He made a promise to comeback the very next morning and did not show up nor did he call. In the evening OF THAT DAY he was to show up I sent him a text. I got no reply. The next day IN THE afternoon I sent him another text I stated . "I can understand you May have a broken phone or a family emergency" and I wanted to hear from him by the end of that day. I also included in my text in the event you are hiding from your obligation I am prepared with a negative review. This guy blew up and I am now hearing from him in a very vulgar manner. I was willing to let this go and let him get away without him fulfilling his obligation but he published a bullshit story on the Neighbor and blocked me from seeing his post. Another reader contacted me that he posted a negative remark against his customer. Hey Bud, the customer is always right and if you want a business you sure are a poor contractor and the number of positive reviews on yelp shows evidence of that. Today 2/17I called up the Office of Consumers Affairs His Pluming Business is Unlicensed and also his Chimney Sweep business under his name nor his phone number as above is not registered where the work was performed. Like you I have evidence of the phone call He then post on this the Neighbor a bunch of lies and then blocked me from reading his review. In this manner he he slander his customer You do not have a license to do contracting work in Suffolk County The washing machine is not from 1973 but 2013 I know it is not your responsibility to tell me what is wrong with you son. All you needed to do was to tell me you can't make it you had a family emergency. BTY The illness is Febrile Seizure not Federal Seizure. A simple I am sorry phone call to tell me you can't make it would have been sufficient. In my email even stated that. But you reacted to the if part. Not my problem if don't uderstand the proper business etiquette. As it stands I stayed home woof 2 days waiting till I had enough of your lack of courtesy. Hey Bud, the work you were supposed to have done was not free like you stated. It was a barter deal where you wanted me to give you a favorable feedback for the extra work. Hey bud please learn your trade. The reason why water was pouring out of the overhead pipe was because the water back pressure which was stopped by blocked and clogged pipe. There was nothing wrong with the washer pump because it was sufficient pump pressure to pump the water up in the first place. I gave you over 30 hrs to respond and NOT 5 mins like you posted. Hey bud, if you are reading this here is your biggest lie. YOU ARE NOT LICENSED IN SUFFOLK COUNTY as a plumber nor chimney sweep. Hey bud, under the law you must provide your licence ID whenever asked to do so. You are also required to post you licence ID on all advertisement on car doors and windows posting, and the internet like yelp. So you are in violation by not providing your ID in the text I sent you. This is not harassment but a legal requirement Hey bud, by you putting out a bad mouth remark on the Nextdoor neighbor had slandered my name. The date of the posting and a feedback from a contact from neighbor illustrated to me of your intentions tarnish my reputation. My slander to you and your business is my reaction to bad business like nature and your initial badmouth. Not you wait and see what happens to your business.

We had a couple options for our gas fireplace, we picked Clayton Richard's because it was in our…read moretown. If I read the Yelp reviews I would NOT have picked them I think it was the 1st week in November when we went to Clayton Richard's stone & Fireplace. We met the lady at the desk (which turns out is the sister in law & not all that friendly) We picked out our stove & Eric came to price it out. We came up with we were buying the stone and mantle & in Eric's words, prices his jobs "with everything" installed, including stone and mantle. Weeks went by then months. When it came in, we we were told by Eric, the fireplace came in broken, that they had to order another one. But a few weeks earlier the sister in law told us it was back ordered. At this point I purchased the stone. I wasn't paying to much attention to the stonework, ,but was completed. Eric says let me know when the mantle is in, & the gas line is done They don't do it, but said just get it to the fireplace, we'll hook it up. So i got the line close, and figured they would want to install a line from the fireplace to the pipe. Now that the stonework was done, I noticed that the stone was higher up then I'd envisioned. With it being so high, how was It going to work, adding another 6" or 8" mantle. It was going to look absolutely ridiculous. I mean it was going to bring the bottom of the tv to a minimum of 58" almost 5 foot off the ground. So NOT noticing at first glance that the stonework was off center, and there was a 2 1/2 to 3" difference. I had the mantle cut to the size of the length of the stone. Ok mantle is in, and we call the store, and Eric gets back to us and says ok it'll be 700.00 to install. We absolutely could not believe he was charging us. We knew that Eric specifically told us he does not like to bill separately for jobs, that he charges one price. & that's for the entire job. It was then that we noticed the stonework was "OFF" we called the store and told them we need Eric to come and look at the job, that they screwed it up. And they also have to complete the job ( it still was NOT hooked up) .So one of the guys came, and I showed him what the issue was. If you could have seen his face ..it was priceless. OOOFFF I said we really didn't notice it, until later. We also told Oscar, that the stonework was really high, that they did not account for the mantle being installed. So he took pictures and obviously sent them to Eric. Oscar plugs in the receiver or whatever, and tells me the gas liine isn't installed. I told him Eric told me to get it close to the fireplace and they'll hook it up. But he tells me they dont do that.. I found that odd, it literally took me 10 minutes to hook up. And because we were so bothered by the work he did abd the fact that he was charging us to mouth the mantle. I actually paid someone else to hang it. We even had them cut back the stone a row so we can have the height of the tv somewhat normal. (Mind you this was like in January, when it was finished) Ok Eric calls me the next day or so. Says I heard there was an issue with the fireplace. I say yeah it's "OFF" IN every sense of the word. And I told him seriously this is like basic skills, this is level and symmetrical 101. So now we're going back and forth about the job, and what they did. I didn't flip out, yell, I just figured he'd fix it. We did have a balance of 2,000 and Eric says what if I take off 500. I said Eric the job cost us 12 THOUSAND DOLLARS! & the entire job is messed up. I mean this isn't an easy fix. I said you really need to come and look at the job. So he says ok let's call it a wash and forget about the balance. Which was more what I was thinking of. We called the store for some reason and the lady says we have a note here that we have a balance of 2000, and we're not to come back to the house..something like that. So at this point the fireplace was not even tested by them, "They were done with the job" they never once saw it or tested to see if it was working. That I think is terrible business..this is a propane stove and just left as is! A few weeks later Eric calls me says I didn't like the wsy it ended, I dont think I ( meaning himself) did the right thing. Says i want to make it right, that he was going to fix it, and don't worry about anything we'll take care of it. The way the phone call went, he was fixing it for nothing, to clear his name &rreputation. He comes over looks at and first glance says the air is wrong on the unit. Its causing the chimney to have all that soot and glass is black. I said well when your son left, he left with pictures thats it. He never mentioned anything about completing the job. It just needed a flex line ..and nobody once asked if it was hooked up, or anything. You guys just left. So he adjusted the air and had his guys clean the glass. He says ok ill set some up. He calls & tells me ill do it for the balance. I was so annoyed,I just left it as is WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
