As opposed to using a separate needle for shading, he used the same needle as the line work. During the healing process, the tattoo scabbed over and when the scab fell off the tattoo was completely faded and scared over. I've never had this experience in my life and my whole left arm is tattooed. Would never ever recommend this shop to anyone nor will I ever return. First and last time. There's a lot to consider when you choose a tattoo shop and artist, you also have to look at both together. Liberty meets and surpasses the expectations on the total package when it comes to the tattoo experience. Liberty delivers a traditional and professional experience in an industry where tradition is hard to find. The artists have earned their seat at the table (metaphorically speaking) and the tattoos they make are the proof. I have personally witnessed multiple periods of time when Liberty was looking for new artists and the process was far from a first come first serve desperation search. From the first interaction going over designs and ideas, you notice the professionalism and pride in your artist. Communication was spectacular every step of the way - I shared an overview of what I was looking for through those first texts which paved the way for a terrific consultation where Jesse took the time to go over everything, let me know what he needed from me, and provided some great resources for picking out the right font, even providing helpful pointers for what to look for in different fonts so that it would continue to look great for years to come. On arrival day of Jesse already had a mockup ready to go and was more than accommodating with some minor changes I wanted done. I can't say the process was painless for obvious reasons but it was as smooth as one could ever hope for. The work was clean, the price was extremely fair, and I left with a piece I'm super happy with that has already received a bunch of compliments even though it's still in the healing phase. I decided to get a double lobe and navel piercing for my birthday and was not comfortable getting…read moreit done by a male piercer (most in my area are men) so I decided to come here. I submitted an online inquiry, booked my appointment online detailing what I was looking for and filled out a consent form. Again, my booking says lobe and navel. I get there and get greeted by Jessica with "you're here for the tongue and eyebrow piercing?" -- Whoa... nope! We eventually move to the piercing room (wildly uncomfortable plastic chairs that belong in a backyard, not a tattoo/piercing shop) and begin to mark my ears for the lobe piercings. I didn't love that the marks were so far from my existing piercings so I asked for them to be adjusted. They adjusted it, I approved. Finally they pierced them. The piercings were UNEVEN. I had to let the further one close so I could get it pierced again in the proper place. The navel piercing is fine in terms of being centered but my skin reacted poorly to the original jewelry and didn't start to look normal until I was allowed to change it out months later. Most notably I was hoping that whoever did my piercing would be at least somewhat personable but instead Jessica barely looked at me and or spoke to me outside of a regurgitated spiel about keeping the piercings clean and minimizing infection. It was delivered so quickly and monotone that it sounded like the bleak side effects portion of a medication advertisement. I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you want to be spoken at instead of to, be forced to wear the ugliest starter jewelry (that's also next to impossible to remove) or to get uneven piercings. In the end I spent $120 total tip not included with plain starter jewelry. In retrospect I think that's kind of insane

On the day of our appointment, we spoke with Tiffany about the design and she presented ideas of how to improve it. She was professional, courteous, and flexible. This being my first tattoo, she made me feel comfortable by describing what to expect, which helped to calm my nerves- her pink bedazzled tattoo gun helped as well. One thing I appreciated was the extent they took to sanitize the room after each person was done. All in all, Tiffany did an amazing job! She is a passionate artist who takes pride in her work. I spoke to Jess about what I wanted, and explained an issue I was having with a current piercing. Jess listened to all of concerns and about what I wanted for my new piercing. She didn't rush me and actually listened and gave me feedback. Then, in the chair I was. Before I knew it Jess took care of one of my piercings and then I had the new piercing I wanted. Jess had such a gentle touch and made sure I was comfortable. We even made some small talk during the short piercing process.
