Visit Date: April 10, 2021 Ended up having back to back tattoos on two separate nights. I had a rescheduled appointment with Amanda to do a portrait of my cat that passed on many years ago. I loved Amanda's design that she created for the portrait I let her have free reign because I kind of give the tattoo artists leniency as long as they're basically doing what I ask for. I had a great time while she was tattooing me we vibed well together which is always a good thing when getting tattooed. We were able to talk and I was in a good position to watch the tattoo getting done because if I am able to I like to watch it getting done. I loved my tattoo she did a great job and I appreciated it so much. I don't know about the other artists here except my friend Nicole got one done by Amanda and Justin did a cover up for her and she was also happy with both tattoos. Went in for a tattoo on a random Saturday a few weeks ago. Asked for lightning and two starbursts on my left hand. Lightning came out great, however the hand tattoo was not done correctly. As opposed to using a separate needle for shading, he used the same needle as the line work. During the healing process, the tattoo scabbed over and when the scab fell off the tattoo was completely faded and scared over. I've never had this experience in my life and my whole left arm is tattooed. Would never ever recommend this shop to anyone nor will I ever return. First and last time. Eric Z is a genius. If you explain your idea, he will take it, make it more epic and the do an absolutely fantastic job. He has done both my sleeves and I get compliments all the time. The art is so fantastic. All freehand, all clean, all legit. He is an absolute master. Got my helix piercing here by Alexandra, who was fantastic - put me at ease by thoroughly explaining the process and follow-up perfectly so I knew what to expect. It was my first piercing in 30 years or so, and my, how things have changed. I don't have any other piercings anymore (closed up after entering corporate decades ago), no tattoos, so I was a little nervous going in, but everyone made me feel very comfortable and I never felt rushed. Came here for the very first time a year ago to get my nose and tongue pierced, I was nervous but exited. I met with Alexandra and she took my step by step with her never leaving me behind. She explained everything so throughly and made sure I absolutely loved the jewelry I picked. She took the time to have me try it all! I paid 220 dollars for a flat and 2 earlobe piercings which is STEEP. And my earlobes were slightly crooked. I got spiked earrings that sunk into my skin and it made the healing process hell. I was recommended to go here by a friend and I said oh my friend "Grace" recommended me to come here. Sami said "I love Grace" to my face but it turns out my friend had gone to the place before Sami even started working there :/. Do not recommend very expensive it's not worth it. read more

I just wanted to take a minute to update my review. Since my original visit (which was a trouble shooting appointment as a result of a piercing from a different shop) I have now been back twice, once for a new piercing and to downsize and curate my ears. Both Alex & Sammie are amazing at what they do and have a light/gentle touch. The shop is incredibly clean, and sterile and they offer some beautiful high end jewelry (bvla etc) as well as a good assortment of titanium pieces as well. First off, their covid protocol is great. They have a doorbell to ring when you get there and depending on the capacity they will have you wait inside or in your car and come get you when they're ready. I called to make sure they were doing nose piercings (they are) and I was able to make an appointment for later the same day (piercings are appointment only). Alex the piercer is absolutely amazing. She is so so friendly and wonderful. From the beginning she made me feel comfortable and answered any question I had and gave her recommendation on what jewelry would suit me best. She has you initial a package with a needle so that you know the needle they use is freshly sterilized. The piercing itself (septum) was relatively painless and very quick and easy. Alex went over all of the aftercare and also offers a service that you can come in when the piercing is healed to change out the jewelry. She definitely takes all the necessary time with every client to make sure they're happy Overall I highly recommend Alex for any of your piercing desires :) read more

Mikey tubs has been my tattoo artist forever I've never needed another artist. His lines are clean the shading is clean and he does exactly what i want and I'm happy every time. He's also super polite and makes me feel comfortable every time. Very kind laid back chill dude who's easy to talk to and crack jokes with. Took my daughter today to get her ears repierced. Went with a professional piercer since she had some scar tissue. I had to get a notarized form for her, but luckily there was a bank nearby. We came back with the form, picked out the jewelry, and I decided to get a little something for myself. Sammie was excellent. Absolutely LOVED my visit. Made an appointment with Alexandra for troubleshooting, to switch out a piercing I got done at a studio in the city. The space was in the back of the tattoo shop and evidently kept very clean - and the wallpaper was super cute! She was so polite in switching out my piercings and even sized it for me. At the end of the visit my friend and I were looking at the piercings and they were all evidently high quality and well displayed. She even took some out to help me map out placements for my next visit. I got a foward helix and helix piercing done a month ago. Alexandra was very attentive and spent a lot of time with me picking jewelry and explaining the whole process. She spent a good five minutes just looking at my ears to see where the piercings will look the best. I came in to get help putting in a nose ring that I already had. It was a cheap, corkscrew ring and I was shown what jewelry would be best for avoiding them falling out which is a persistent problem of mine. I ended up splurging a bit on a beautiful new piece that will last a long time. I mentioned it to her that night Then the next day went back to upsize and it was still too tight. Definitely poor sizing and judgment on her part. It hurt so bad like i had just gotten it pierced even though its been healed for years. This shop Seems inexperienced. I will not return. I had another piercer look at it who has a lot more experience and he noticed a cut in my tragus from whatever the heck she did (she was very rough) Totally unprofessional how she didn't know after she downsized it that it was wayyyyy too small. Anyway...Authentic Arts: I met the owner Tommy who saw I was visibly upset by my recent experience and he was really nice and told me that we'll find an artist that would match the style of tattooing the other pieces were. I met Justin and honestly the level of expertise, attention to detail, and overall hospitality was astounding. I wasn't used to this level of professionalism and chillness. I'm heavily tattooed and this was an entirely different experience for me. 12/10 recommend!! I'm definitely coming back to finish my leg sleeves and start my arm sleeve here. Had the best experience at this place! Alexandra, you're amazing! I came in looking to get 2 piercings done, but I still had some doubts about the location and also had no clue as to what kind of pieces I wanted to put in the new piercings. Alexandra spent at least half an hour with me solely helping me pick jewelry, holding it up to my ear, putting it away and then bringing it back again because of my "can I see that one again". She did not only make me feel very comfortable and did not rush me until I had "I love it moment!", but she also was very helpful and invested in picking the pieces that went well together, fit my desired design and my budget. The pieces I selected were sterilized before we started. Alexandra took her time to explain all of the post care instructions and I felt well informed. I got two piercings done, one in the earlobe was super easy, I almost did not feel anything. The second one was in the cartilage at the top of my ear(can't remember the proper term), it was a little more painful, but I felt the pain for maybe 30 seconds. The procedure was quick and the piercing room was clean and neat. It's been two days since and I do not fee l any pain or discomfort and absolutely love my new piercings! I have been thinking about getting a second earlobe piercing for the longest time but I'm terrified of needles so I kept putting it off. I came to this place after seeing their work on instagram for some time and got two earlobe piercings done by Sammie. She was super friendly and explained every step to me and reassured me the whole time which made me feel super safe cuz honestly I was really nervous. I took a deep breath and she was done before I even breathed out I barely felt a slight pinch. My ears did not hurt at all there was maybe a slight pinching sensation like someone biting down ur ear lightly for like a day and then no pain at all. If you're nervous about your first piercing I definitely suggest this place Sammie was so kind. If you're not a fan of needles like me you can rest assured this place will make sure you're okay every step of the way! And I love my new piercings!
