I followed Dan to Liberty when he decided to open up his new shop and I have gotten 95% of my tattoos from Liberty artists since then. There's a lot to consider when you choose a tattoo shop and artist, you also have to look at both together. Liberty meets and surpasses the expectations on the total package when it comes to the tattoo experience. Liberty delivers a traditional and professional experience in an industry where tradition is hard to find. The artists have earned their seat at the table (metaphorically speaking) and the tattoos they make are the proof. I have personally witnessed multiple periods of time when Liberty was looking for new artists and the process was far from a first come first serve desperation search. From the first interaction going over designs and ideas, you notice the professionalism and pride in your artist. Once it's time to get in the chair, you witness firsthand the cleanliness your artist maintains from setup to breakdown. The artists at Liberty are extremely talented and the tattoos they create are of many different styles but one thing is constant, they do top notch work. After more than 16 years and over 50 hours in tattoo chairs at Liberty I still continue to recommend friends and family as well as go back myself, I even took my Mom to Liberty for her first tattoo. My Niece had her ears pierced by Val when she was a baby. As soon as we come back from vacation next week my wife and I are headed in for our next tattoos. As opposed to using a separate needle for shading, he used the same needle as the line work. During the healing process, the tattoo scabbed over and when the scab fell off the tattoo was completely faded and scared over. I've never had this experience in my life and my whole left arm is tattooed. Would never ever recommend this shop to anyone nor will I ever return. First and last time. Please be weary of this artist. I have pictures to verify scaring.

I'm a bit of a space head because I didn't realize that, when I found Alicia's work on Instagram, I had already met her. I recognized her upon walking in, and again had an amazing experience. She was again very helpful and just nice during the entire process. I got a lotus tattoo on my sternum and she did a BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL job. I spoke to Jess about what I wanted, and explained an issue I was having with a current piercing. Jess listened to all of concerns and about what I wanted for my new piercing. She didn't rush me and actually listened and gave me feedback. Then, in the chair I was. Before I knew it Jess took care of one of my piercings and then I had the new piercing I wanted. Jess had such a gentle touch and made sure I was comfortable. We even made some small talk during the short piercing process. I was certainly impressed by the Artists work and shop presentation. Classic Tattoo shop feel, wood themed decor with tons of really nice in house flash adorning the walls. I also love the fact that the shop keeper was constantly cleaning and disinfecting the entire time of my visit. I got a few smaller tattoos done by Travis. I have had interest in his work for quite some time, I reached out via his Instagram to make the appointment. When I arrived we started with a consultation of what I wanted and the areas of placement. After that I waited for a little while he drew them up. When he came back out I was hyped with the result of the finished line drawings/stencils so no revisions needed and I had given him full Artistic Freedom (highly recommended) on the color schemes.
