My son's car would not start so we had it towed to Main Street Tire. After looking at the car they let me know the engine was locked up and would need a new one. They could have tried to sell me an engine but instead they told my that my son's KIA had a lot of issues with the engines and before they did any work I should check with Kia. I'm happy to say that KIA did have a recall on my son's model and are putting in a new engine free of charge. I would not have known that had it not been for the honesty of Main Street!! I paid $7000 dollars on a Jasper engine to be put in my Chevy six months ago and it broke down tonight. What had me angry is that the estimate was for under six thousand dollars. One owner Mike came to me out of town to try he said to help me. In reality, he was trying to cover his own hide from getting sued. This shop has overcharged me on over twenty thousand dollars in repairs, and I still got the run around today when I called. They did not provide the warranty I was supposed to have, and only care for getting your money and forgetting about you. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

We had been using Main Street successfully for five years when Jeff hired Ellie and their service went downhill from there. She is nasty and cold and runs the show now. Because of her horrible attitude they have lost all their good employees and the place is now a joke. Their current employees don't know what they are doing. I could share at least three incidents where they misdiagnosed and overcharged us for repairs that were not even made. Shame on you Jeff!! read more

I went here on a referral from a friend. The guys seemed very helpful and easy to deal with up front. I did hours of research on my next tires. I needed something that was aggressive for driving through agriculture fields and pastures. I settled on the Cooper STT Max. Upon the advice from Main Street I went with a 2" leveling kit and a slightly larger tire. When I got there to pick the truck up I was amazed at how cool the truck looked. As I was checking out the guy told me that they "might rub a little" at first, but that would wear off quickly. Well I left the shop and drove to the nearest gas station and as soon as I turned the truck ride turned very difficulty and I could feel each one of the side cleats catching. So I turned a few tight turns and it was "HORRIBLE." I called them and they said again that it would wear off and I should give it a week of normal driving. So I did that and even gave it a couple weeks. But still it was the same and my alignment was even getting off at that point. So I called them back and they told me that I'd have to talk to the owner, who wasn't in at the time. So I called a week later and asked for the owner and was told he still wouldn't be in until the following week. So once again I called when he was supposed to be there and this time they just said he was unavailable. I was pretty fed up by then and I told the guy who had been answering my calls and told him they needed to make this right. He responded by telling me that it wasn't their fault and they couldn't do anything for me. He also told me that it was MY fault for picking those tires. I said that, while yes I did pick the tires myself, they should have told me that the tires weren't going to work, and made a different suggestion. Meanwhile the powder coating on my frame has been completely rubbed off by the oversized tires they put on. It's now been over 6 months and they still rub the frame and make a terrible ride. NEVER USE THIS SHOP!!! They are only about selling, and don't give a damn about service after the sale. read more
