I have certainly admired the outside products but I go to Swings'n Things for the country gift shop and the furniture. The shop leans towards decorating items in the country & primitive styles although you can find stuff that would fit into most homes. There is some furniture in the shop itself but then they have another big building out back chock full of furniture as well. They have furniture and pictures, candles and rugs, curtains and mailboxes, flowers, birdhouses, lampshades, metal stars, pillows, (whew!) and much much more! The prices are usually reasonable. Sometimes you find a deal, sometimes you wonder if the owner just accidentally put the wrong tag on an item, 'cause the price just seems a bit out of touch with reality (not often). Swings'n Things can also be a great local place to pick up some gifts for those ladies on your shopping list. You are guaranteed to find items that aren't available in those big box stores. The furniture was very beautiful and there was walking stick I had my eye on and had it not been the holiday season (and I had more cash), I would be using it on my hikes right now.
