The records are awesome and the merry go round of Beer flavors are amazing. I love having a brew, talking music and musicians, enjoying the vinyls playing on the bar tender/ Disc Jockey turn tables. I have been to this place multiple times and always wish I had arrived earlier because they close around 8pm, depending on when the needle finds the center of the record I guess. I'm proud that this very special music lovers and beer lovers safe space is in Graham NC. No big TVs with sports blaring, no overly loud music, no sorrows drowning overly intoxicated blokes hanging around here. It's only polite ladies and gentlemen that are like minded audiophiles of great conversations all things music and beer related. Just a wonderful gem of an idea for a place to decompress and exhale. Otherwise, it is booth after booth after booth of items that belong at an outdoor weekend flea market and offered for half of the asking price with the peddler available. The asking price on the tag was the price on the tag, so an actual "deal" is not at play here. Womp womp. If you enjoy gawking, are in search of a gag gift or just want to waste some time leisurely walking, this is a spot to stop. 4 stars because the building is large enough to be called a "mall," did not smell like feline urine, a moldy basement or home to rodents, and there is plenty of room to maneuver around without feeling the wall to wall indoor yard sale items may tumble down upon you. We visited January 2026 on a mild temperature (high 50's/low 60's degrees) day so it wouldn't be fair to speak of actual climate control amid the heat of summer (Easter to Halloween) or bitterly cold days in this remnant of a flagship store; ymmv on how hot or cold the building is. I recently started following them on Facebook, and love that they post almost daily updates on new vinyl coming into the shop, and will even put a 7 day hold on items they post if you request. Last week was my first time visiting, and although it's not a big shop, they've got it packed, and well organized, offering music sorted out by many different genres, and sub-organized within the genres in alphabetical order. Pricing varies, assuming based on amount of specific items in inventory, rarity, and condition. The staff was friendly, and welcoming, asking if there were specific items I was looking for. Great spot to have in town, but potentially financially dangerous for music lovers out there! Though it was my first time, I'm certain it won't be my last. Give them a like on a Facebook, and stop in to pick up some of your favorites.

There are at least two within a five minute drive that I found and both were incredible. (Buffalo Boogie and Remember When). And both of those stores named each other and Hippo when asked about other stores. Sorry. Pet peeve of mine. I won't return to this store but will happily go to his two competitors.

Many of the records I already have , hard to find vinyl, but they have them. As I was thumbing through I was talking to Mary who runs the store. I told her the selection is very good in vinyl. She exclaimed that her husband is a record collector and always trying to find vinyl records. As I see they have a number of hard to find vinyl. The store is filled with cool vintage clothes , furniture, nic nacks, sun glasses. Just a plethora of cool stuff. If you are in Pittsboro, you have to make this a stop for you. What a cool place . I added a couple dozen to my collection and will definitely be returning on my next visit to the area. It's a fairly good-sized store with many records for sale but I would say 95% are old records and "oldies"....pretty much majority pre-90s music.
