I had a chicken sandwich -- cooked perfectly! The fries are fresh and come out hot, the potato salad is excellent (has an eggy taste to it). First, you need to secure a water taxi since Cranberry Island can only be accessed via boat. I suggest you make friends because the taxi is one price for up to 6 passengers. Once we arrived (short 10 minute trip) I fell in love with the vibe of the restaurant and the island. We started with delicious oysters and perfectly made cocktails. I opted for the appetizer shrimp scampi with a side of seasoned fries, which were even better dipped in the garlic butter! My husband had the scallops and while I don't typically like the texture of scallops, his were buttery and delicious. I'm so glad we were able to visit this iconic place during our trip to Maine! We will definitely be back next time we return to hike Acadia.
