M.K Larry is the definition of a class act salesman and guy. After the first time I went to mainline custom, I was absolutely amazed by the quality of service and product I received, I couldn't resist but go back. I have only been to the store three times now and I feel like the owner, Larry, has become a friend of mine. He has 50+ years of experience behind his belt, and after being to many clothing stores, this by far is the best I have been to. Weather it was a custom shirt, sports jacket, tux, or even just a belt, I knew I was getting the best bang for my buck. While I respect that others have had positive experiences at Mainline Custom Shop, my fiance and I unfortunately did not. Exactly one month prior to our wedding, we were informed that my fiance's suit would not arrive because the fabric wasn't available. This suit was ordered (selected fabric, took measurements and provided payment) in May. This order was placed four months prior to our wedding. While Larry noted that Europe closes down during the summer for vacation, he was obviously confident enough that the suit would arrive on time because he placed the order and took the money. About two weeks prior to the call, my fiance reached out to Larry inquiring about the suit's status. First off, it's mind boggling we had to reach out to Larry, and we shudder thinking what would have happened if we did not reach out first. We went into the shop under the impression that my fiance would have a fitting. We even brought his shoes, belt, etc., for the full look only to have Larry ask us to verify if the fabric swatch was correct, suggest we pick another fabric "just in case" and to re measure him "just in case". We felt totally blind sided to learn that the suit was not in the shop. The reason for this apparently was that it's been incredibly hot in Europe this summer causing delays (yes, I know it really has been hot but this particular reason for Larry asking us confirm the fabric, pick another and re-measure did not add up). Larry said he told us this all in a text and an email (we received neither of those things). Larry said he would cover the rush fee and get it here by the 3rd week of September. We also left the shop without picking out another fabric...which in hindsight is telling that Larry was either not invested in our business or delivering on his promises. Obviously, the promise to deliver a suit by mid-September was not possible. Based on what we observed, it appears to us that Larry forgot to place the suit order entirely. I guess we'll never know for sure. We were able to get a refund although it required another drive to West Chester to swipe the exact same card we used to pay for the suit originally. In the end, we're most frustrated because at every turn we were met with no accountability. Nothing was ever Larry's fault nor did he apologize for how this turned out. The lack of communication and updates throughout this process was also unfathomable to us. If we operated in our jobs in the manner Larry did neither one of us would be employed right now. Please consider this before trusting Larry with dressing you for a big occasion. read more

I had a terrible experience with this store and the man running it. He completely ignores your requests for fit and size, and even failed to give me a refund when I was owed one because he (claims he) couldn't do it in the system. Trust me -- don't go here. Your clothes will not fit and he will take your money regardless. read more

I had an encounter with an overly pushy salesman here. I had no desire to redo the tux ensemble for my whole wedding party two weeks before my wedding, but this guy wouldn't take no for an answer! He also kept answering the phone when he was mid-sentence with me. That's not my idea of good customer service! I wish I would have walked out of here wayyyyyy before I did. read more

Worst purchase ever. My husband and I visited the store. The person who served us was nice, he took my husband measurements, we purchased a 600 suit. Prior to purchase we confirmed that it would be ready in time for a wedding we were attending. We left excited. However, when we called to pick it up. It was not ready. We called again and again and reminded them of the wedding we had. When we picked it up - no alternations were done at all. My husband looked ridiculous and was swimming in the suit. He was unable to wear the suit for the wedding and we had limited options because I picked it up the day of the wedding due to it not being ready when we were promised it would be done in time. This store did NO alterations when they said they would. They did not commit to the date requested when they said they would. When we took it to a tailor we love the tailor told us how poorly it was made and how we were ripped off. Very disappointing they lied to our face and took our money. read more

We chose Mainline Custom shop because we wanted to support local business for our upcoming wedding. But our experience here has been awful. Everytime we go into the shop to pick something up we are told about a problem with our order. This has happened three times! And the salesman never seems to know how to handle it. I DO NOT recommend using this shop for wedding attire. It has been an extremely stressful process. read more

This was a traumatic experience for me...On the day of our senior prom my best friend tried on his tux to find that it was way too big, when we asked for a refund we were screamed at and I was personally victimized by the owner. I am an 18 year old girl and he screamed, and pointed his finger in my face. He caused a huge scene and was horribly rude. When a young male customer verbally harrassed me he said nothing, only laughed. I would NOT recommend Mainline Custom Shop to my worst enemy, I say this in all seriousness. GO ELSEWHERE! He ruined my prom because we were late for everything due to driving back to Glenmore from West Chester in order for my friend to get a backup tux. This man only cares about money and not his customer's best interest. He is a sick individual. read more
