Stopped by Cafe Tempo the other morning for a quick breakfast on the go. Grabbed a simple egg & cheese on a toasted whole wheat English muffin, atleast I thought so? They ended up giving my a egg & cheese on A bagel but it was still very good! They don't use a cheap microwaved egg like some places do either. (The croissant is also a good option!) But let's be real here... that's not why I wait 7 cars deep most early mornings in a drive thru line... The cinnamon rolls are the reason. These things just hit every time man. They arnt really anything over the top like a thick cinnamon bun out of your oven or anything like that. They are your simple cinnamon roll with icing on it not frosting but they are just so delicious - easily the standout. (Sometimes they run out!) They're mostly known for their coffee, and you can tell. They have a hoping business and everyone usually leaves with a coffee amongst other options like their bagels or baked goods. Inside is pretty small with very little seating so not the best place to get any work done or hangout. Overall, they are a very busy place and most people put an online order in to beat the crowd. The drive thru service is pretty quick for being busy and also very friendly. If you're going, don't overthink it - get the cinnamon roll. read more

Omg! I come to this area a lot to visit my partner,, so I've seen this cafe on passing. This spot has been on my list to visit and today I found a good opportunity to venture to try~ I was surprised to see this place busy with even a drive through that wasn't that visible in afternoons, but mornings is very visible with cars wrapping around cafe. There is also spots available within the lot. The interior was small with plenty of counter side space to sit. Obviously this is a popular place. I ordered a small ice coffee and a New England sandwich which has Turkey, cranberry and cheese. My meal was savory and tasty, and the coffee was perfect to me, on the sweeter side. I had such a great experience ~ we snagged a seat, and the food was handed to us over the counter since we found counter side seating. This place seems like a local fav, and as future local, I can't wait to try the drive thru myself next time. read more

Rating: 4.0 Came to try this breakfast and coffee spot. Its pretty small was Sunday lunch time and was very busy. The parking lot can become a bit hectic as they have a drive through as well and parking spots are arranged around it. The parkings were full but after 2 rounds we did find one spot to park so we went inside. Inside was very busy as well filled with people waiting for their order. It has few seatings, coffee bar area and counter to place your order. I ordered hot mocha and the firehouse breakfast sandwich. Since it was busy i expected to take a while for our food and drinks to come out but we only had to wait about 5 minutes or so. Hot mocha was okay. The breakfast sandwich was pretty good. It came with two jumbo egg, ham and cheddar cheese on jalapeño bagel. It was wasn't that spicy but was ok. Service was good and quick. Looks like lots of younger people work at the place. Overall the place is a solid breakfast and coffee spot. It may feel a bit chaotic when it's busy but quick service makes it easier to navigate. May opt for drive through next time as experience may be different there. read more

The egg white breakfast sandwich is actually amazing. It is a filling sandwich to say the least. Walked from the Marina so I wasn't really in the mood for coffee so I went with a blended mocha thingy and whatever hazelnut stuff they put in this is fantastic. What a wonderful surprise this cozy restaurant is! Located right around the corner from Kent County Hospital, it is conveniently accessed right before the rotary and features a large parking lot with plenty of spaces. Inside, the cathedral ceilings and air conditioning make the space appear and feel airy. Everything is clean, and the staff are friendly and pleasant. I ordered a half ham and Swiss sandwich on rye bread with a small fruit salad and a protein shake. The fresh fruit included strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, and melon. Everything was delicious, and it was affordably priced at $20 for my entire order. They also have gluten-free options, cozy, seating inside, and seating outside on their patio under the overhang. If you were in a rush, they also have a drive-through. I will definitely be back! read more

I only tried this place once & I only tried an iced caramel latte so this isn't a full scope of the place. I'm not from here but when I'm in town visiting my husband's family I like to try as many different local spots I can. The location itself was very cute with nice indoor and outdoor seating. The staff I interacted with was pleasant and the drink was just fine. Not anything amazing but not gross and I drank about half of it before I was over it. First time entering Cafe Tempo the appearance is clean, great seating, clear menus, friendly service which I will give a 5 out of 5. Now the flavor of the coffee and the sandwich was a 3 out of 5. I asked for an extra shot of espresso in the French vanilla ice latte and it taste more of milk with a very small hint of coffee. The coffee comes with 2 shots of espresso for a medium I ordered it with 3 shots of espresso definitely needed 4 or less milk. read more

I also love their iced coffee - made with flavored beans so you don't have to get flavor syrups if you don't want to. This is a super popular spot and always seems busy. I stopped in during the week around 10:30 AM. There was a fairly decent sized line, but it moved rather quickly. The parking lot is on a busy corner lot, but easy to get in and out. I tried the firehouse and the lox sandwich. Both were fresh, hot and flavorful bagel sandwiches. I would definitely recommend this little cafe, it has to be one, if not the the best bagel shops in RI. read more

Bagels are amazing and the veggie cream cheese is awesome. They even have a drive up window which makes things so easy.

I am so disappointed. I don't often get a chance to get here, but today was a good day! Coffee was on point. I waited 15 minutes for a toasted salt bagel with cream cheese and lox spread. I received some random bread with smoked salmon, onion, tomato and capers. Not bad, but totally not what I ordered. The staff was distracted when taking my order. I told her a salt bagel 3 times - paid over $16 and didn't get my correct order. I am not going to make the effort next time. read more

Soo delicious!! Went here with my mom yesterday (Wednesday) at around 11am. It was QUITE busy. It had calmed down by the time we headed out (12). The food was excellent, I got a lox bagel sandwich with the asiago bagel. My mom got the turkey bacon and avocado sandwich. The food was absolutely terrific. We also got an iced coffee, and then a specialty drink that tasted exactly like Black raspberry ice cream. My mom says the coffee is good here. We also split a peanut butter cookie. So yummy. I love that they brew their coffee flavors and do not use syrups. They have a huge variety of bagel & cream cheese flavors. I've tried a bunch of their sandwiches-tuna and turkey with bacon are our favorites (both with avocado). Best scones & muffins too...the ONLY downside...is the parking lot! Bagels are super, service is mid and parking is a nightmare. All things considered, it's worth the aggravation to get your bagels here. There's some seating but it's usually super crowded. During the warmer months, there's great outdoor seating. Don't forget the maple nut cream cheese! read more

"Where have you been all my life?" Was what I was thinking after being here recently for the first time. I've been back here two more times since. All times - everything I got was superb. They have flavored coffees - NOT flavored with shots, mind you. Actual flavored coffee. All the sandwiches and salads here are delicious too. Honestly, you'll be overwhelmed by all the choices. You can't go wrong. The only thing that is kind of annoying about this place is that it's located on a rotary, so trying to get in and out to park is a bit challenging. The other thing is that they have a weird drive-thru situation where the drive-thru lane actually goes right in front of the entrance to the cafe. So you, as the pedestrian, when entering the cafe, have to watch for cars that are in the drive-thru lane. It kind of reminds me of the game Frogger. Don't get squished. read more

Upon entering there was a line but it went quickly and gave me enough time to review the whole menu. They have a lot of assistance behind the counter as well. This is a very nice coffee shop located in Warwick. They have a great selection of sandwiches, bagels, breakfast choices, and great coffee/drink choices. I ordered the turkey cheddar on ciabatta roll and it was delicious while I ate it in the beach. My prior visit I ordered a toasted bagel with cream cheese and a fruit cup.
