I've visited LIFE Cafe multiple times and the staff has been friendly and eager to assist. Great drip coffee, breakfast sandwiches, a variety of donuts, muffins and bagels. Join the coffee club and made progress toward a free beverage. Very clean inside and outside. Plenty of off street parking. Near the commuter rail.

Heard about this place on Yelp and decided to check it out at a Yelp event. The inside is small with 3 tables seating 2 each and 5 stools with a wall mounted counter if you plan to stay and eat. During the summer, they have a garage style door that goes up, and there is outdoor seating. There weren't any other customers when I arrived at 11 AM on a Thursday morning. The staff there was extremely friendly and accommodating. Everything was very clean. I ordered mine to go. They even included the an apple in the bag! I got a decaf oat milk latte with salted caramel, sugar-free syrup and it was delicious. The sandwiches are on a "build your own" format. I got an over medium egg on an English muffin with American cheese and chorizo. I didn't really enjoy the chorizo, so I took it off and enjoyed the rest of the sandwich and it was tasty. Aside from the sandwiches, the menu is otherwise limited with a small selection of muffins, pastries, and protein bars. I'd definitely coming back for coffee when in the area and consider trying some of the other sandwich combinations.

Decaf latte in a cute cup!

Was excited to know they open early for morning people like me who need their coffee and pastry. Counter help was super nice and took the time to explain, why some things aren't labeled. They had a nice set up for the World Cup with lots where everyone can have a view no matter your seat. It's located near Main Street and is easy to get to from transit. I'm excited to make this place part of my regular routine.

This place is massive, with lots of tables to dine in, and a bakery section. We ordered the following: Mondongo (pequeño), bandeja paisa, lengua sudada, and res apanada. The food came out in about 20 minutes. The serving sizes were a little bigger than normal (I am not complaining), every plate looked delicious, and all the plates were hot and fresh. The mondongo was tasty and had a good amount of tripe and the right thickness of the broth. I chuckled when I saw the side of banana, but honestly, it made for a good desert. The bandeja paisa brings a litte bit of everything and it all was cooked well. The lengua sudada was very tender and flavorful and the yucca was soft, with the sauce it was in giving it a really good flavor. The res apanada was a bit tough and the breading did not stick on too well, but overall the flavor was good and the breading was crispy which I enjoyed. The best part of it all was the prices. It is very affordable and you will leave full.   The bakery is inexpensive and the items I have tried and good. They do have a large parking lot and it's free. While in the area, you could visit the Slater Mill (they have tours you could sign up for) or visit the public library. One thing to note is that the GPS might bring you to their old location a couple blocks up the street, so do a little bit of research for the address beforehand.

That's saying a lot because I have sampled many, many croissants. The Yum roll was melt-in-your- mouth delicious with the perfect balance of sweet with a hint of salt, crunchy around the edges and topped with a delightful creamy drizzle of caramel. The plain croissants were perfectly fluffy and flaky. The almond square was pure heaven with a deep almond flavored frangipane surrounded by crunchy layers. The bakery itself is really cute. You can get a chance to meet the owner and gaze upon the glorious bounty of pastries available. You do have to subscribe to order so check out the Butterbang instagram.

It's a small pop-up style bakery with a cozy feel, perfect for grabbing pastries and a good coffee to start your morning or treat yourself mid-day. Everything I've tried has been delicious, and you can tell a lot of care goes into the baking. It does get busy and certain items sell out, so going earlier is definitely a plus. Overall, a fantastic spot in Pawtucket for anyone who loves pastries, I'd happily recommend Butterbang to friends and visitors.
