This is a great Goyard store located on Grant Street in the heart of the beautiful city by the bay. We were surprised to see that the store is expanding to the space adjacent to it to create a bigger and better shopping experience. The Mrs enjoys looking at all the new purses and wallets and the salespeople always provide top notch service. Shout out to Roxanne for being able to keep the Mrs in the know when items she wants are in stock. Although there may be a line in the front it moves very quickly so don't be put off by it. Worst experience with a retailer in my life. Someone used a clone of my credit card to make a fraudulent purchase totaling $3,454 at their San Francisco store. I went to their store to get any information they had about the purchase. I first asked for a copy of the receipt for the purchase. The man I spoke with told me their corporate policy didn't allow them to provide that information. So I asked them for the contact information for their corporate headquarters. Same response. Oh how spoiled I felt to arrive at Goyard in Union Square and for there to be no line in sight. This location opens their doors around 10am and on a Monday morning around 11 or so, I was able to walk in no problem. This shop is pretty quaint but it's so whimsical to see all the items within a birds-eye view. From card holders to trunks, this is one of the oldest luxury houses to date. I was assisted with a super helpful CA and she helped me navigate my options and look around a few other items. Ended up settling on the St. Louis GM in black and a card holder in gray. My favorite part of everything is the packaging and attention to detail. Never felt rushed and I was allowed to make a thoughtful purchase before walking away. They don't offer refunds and only focus on exchanges or store credit so don't think you can do take backsies. This isn't a typical purchase, but it's one that I'll definitely cherish and recall the memories of my trip with it. read more

Interesting shopping experience. Called in for an inventory inquiry and the answering message instructed me to email the store. I was pleasantly surprised by a same day reply. Confirmed the item I was interested was in stock. When I arrived there was a line to get in (about 5 deep). That took at least 25 minutes. The line is annoying but it filters out nosy tourists. The guard at the front wears a lab coat and directs traffic. I wouldn't exactly describe him as the warm and friendly type. Entry into the small retail space it feels cozy. From the decor, music, and employee uniforms there was a homogeneous vibe that felt like a theme park attraction. Jazmeen was a helpful sales associate. Parking in the area sucks. There are meters around but even on a slow day it's hard to find a spot. Walking out of the store back to the car can feel sketchy. read more

The store was clean, classy, and comfortable on the inside. All the sales associates were well dressed. Service was okay. The sales associate helping us was nice and politely answered questions. Here's the hard truth, employees don't care because if you're going to go a Goyard location, 90% of the time, you're there to buy something. So don't expect to be treated like royalty LOL. None of the workers really seemed that enthusiastic and the shop is super small so you'll most likely be waiting outside. Unfortunately for everyone, I am a social butterfly in awkward situations so me and the other people in the store were "shopping together" and chatting away. By the time my aunt and I got into the store, we had waited about 45 minutes, not too bad on a Friday afternoon. The Goyard St. Louis bags used to be sold at a different price depending on color. Now all the colors are the same price. Apparently that was changed August of 2022. What's nice is that they sent my bag back to Utah with no sales tax. So if you're traveling, send your bag home to avoid sales tax. I tried on both the black colors and the gray colors of the St. Louis GM. There really wasn't anything amazing about the service.
