    Before with sunblock marks
    Zak R.

A sales associate at Stuart Weitzman suggested that Coach has the best leather cleaner on the market. So to Coach I went.... Daisy warmly greeted me at the door and asked if I needed assistance. She guided me to the leather cleaner and moisturizer which I wanted to purchase. She was so nice and even gave me the "kit" that included a large soft cloth for use. The cleaner worked wonders on my Longchamp work bag that I have started using again as part of my post-COVID world of normality. (During the pandemic I have been using a Patagonia backpack with outside pockets for alcohol sanitizer and hands free carrying.) Unfortunately my sunblock left white patches all over my bag. I also used it to clean and condition a Vince lamb leather jacket. The end results speak for themselves. Thanks Daisy for being so helpful and nice. PS. Leather is an animal's skin. I figured it deserves the same level of care as my own skin does.

At one point she responded to my text saying that she would be delivering the (ostensibly repaired) shoes on the weekends. That was in March and no shoes appeared so I have tried to call her but her voicemail is full. I text her again and again. I have told her that I assume some bad things are happening in her life but I pleaded with her just to communicate. I said that I can have plenty of sympathy but that I need some dialogue. Has anyone else received a response from her of any sort since, say, March?

I'm sympathetic to personal issues, but seriously, how often does a business have family "emergencies"? I've lost both my money and a pair of perfectly fine loafers, not to mention the several drives be had to make as a reward for giving them my business. Never again!! Outrageous.

Predatory. There is no better word to describe this business…read more A complaint to attorney general and department of consumer affairs is coming. I am 81 years old and visually impaired from past cataract surgery. In November 2025, the owner sat in my living room and walked out with a $4,300 deposit check to reupholster a 20-year-old leather couch--an unjustifiable total quote of $8,600. For context, a comparable brand-new couch retails for under $2,000. I canceled the job within one week. Before the couch was ever picked up. Before a single material was ordered. Before one minute of labor was performed. They kept every single penny of my $4,300. I sued them in small claims court (Santa Clara County Case No. 26SC097661--a public record anyone can verify). In my sworn claim, filed months before trial, I explicitly stated I was never provided a written contract. Yet, at trial, the business conveniently produced a document containing a strict non-refundable clause that I had never laid eyes on. The signature resembled mine, but the only item I recall signing that day was my check. The judge strictly enforced their paperwork, meaning this business successfully and legally stripped an 80-year-old of $4,300 in exchange for absolutely zero work. Those are the documented facts. Look up the public record and draw your own conclusion. A final warning to families: If this owner is ever sitting in your mother or father's living room, do not let them sign a single document or write a check that day. My lesson in their business ethics cost me $4,300. Do not let your parents be next.

This is an amazing place to shop in downtown Palo Alto, and yes, you can find some amazing things…read moreto wear here, even if your summer capsule wardrobe is primarily made up of solid neutrals. Everything that I bought over here this summer is made of 100% cotton in Nepal. I bought some ivory/cream/light beige cotton/linen pants that were so comfortable and flowy. I also bought some pale pink cotton pants - and they feel very neutral in spite of being pastel. I love the "criss cross" opening at the ankles of all the pants that I bought. Very cool! No patterns. Just neutral solid pants. Each pair of pants was about $58 but totally worth it because they're very durable. I wash them on the delicate cycle with just a little bit of gentle detergent, and dry them on a clothes line in the sun (they're dry in less than fifteen minutes). They had lots of white cotton tops; unfortunately none of them were sleeveless or just a wee bit longer sleeves than sleeveless. I'm not a fan of full sleeves in the summer. I made an impulse cashmere shawl purchase on a cold summer night here because it was cold outside and the air-conditioning made the restaurant nearby (Tamarine) feel like the North Pole. It was a neutral ivory/cream color with a super-tiny dark brown herring bone pattern on one side. I like it because if I want a lighter looking shawl, I have the cream or ivory on one side, and if I want a darker looking shawl, I have the dark brown on the other side. A bit spendy at $200 and most definitely not vegan, but I was freezing... I do own a few woolen sweaters and leather shoes, although I really try hard not to buy wool or leather. Cashmere is so, so, so soft and feels so lovely on the skin. Like Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex and the City says about cashmere: it's a cashmiracle! They have some cashmere scarves in neutral solids too. The only downside was that the music was deafening. It made me want to leave the store as soon as possible, instead of staying for hours and trying on some more clothes.
