I've been going to Dr. Linh Tu for years, and I can't say enough good things about her and the entire office. I was first introduced to her in 2014 when I brought my mom in. After that, I brought my son, and now our whole family goes here. Dr. Linh Tu is incredibly thorough, gentle, and genuinely cares about her patients. Her husband, Dr. Robert Tamayo, is also part of the practice, and together they've created such a welcoming, well-run office. Sam and Kathy at the front desk are amazing. They helped me learn how to put in my contact lenses and have always been so patient whenever I've had questions or needed help--they've truly gone above and beyond for me. The office is conveniently located in the Trader Joe's shopping center, which makes it super easy to get to. I highly recommend Dr. Linh Tu, Dr. Robert Tamayo, and their entire team. Hidden gem! I'm very frequently in the plaza where Maison Optique is located bc of weekly trips to Trader Joes, Pet Supply, and restaurants. However, it wasn't until a friend recommended this optical center that I made appointments online for my three kids. (School vision test advised us my daughter might need glasses.) I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and efficient optical visit. Kathy, the office manager was helpful and kind and even helped my daughters pick out frames. The optician, Dr. Ty was also very pleasant and seemed very skilled/experienced. Overall, would recommend this office! Go here if you're getting your eyes checked and trying to get a new prescription. Dr. T took the time to iron out the kinks of a previous prescription that a different optometry business made for me. The whole process really has me excited to wear my glasses again. My last pair was bothering my eyes, which interfered with all the computer work I do. He used a few different tools to show me how my new prescription should be better. Loved Dr. Linh Tu, unlike many doctors on your first visit, Dr. Tu makes you feel so comfortable and welcomes and answers all of your questions. She is thorough and efficient but takes the time to explain each step in her exam. Kathy & Sam run the front office and greet you with smiles that immediately make you feel welcome but also like you're old friends! They he'll you with picking frames ( I wasn't sure so Kathy help with matching my hair- the glasses are so cute) and making sure they fit you correctly and comfortably.
