She worked with me on a payment structure so I could still be seen, which meant more than I can express. What truly stood out was how she handled the appointment itself. She reassured me that my prescription had not changed and took the time to clearly explain that the symptoms I was experiencing were normal following a concussion. She was patient, thorough, and incredibly calming. She allowed me to be vulnerable about my concerns and genuinely put my mind at ease by letting me know that everything was going to be okay. I asked why she was telling me to try my old prescription with these contacts she gave me. I took the contacts that they gave me open them and after two sets neither of them right eye or left eye fit correctly. I reached out and told them I would be going to a different optometrist, but that I wanted to return my contacts. They told me because I opened the boxes that they gave me that were incorrect. They could only return the unopened boxes, but that they could exchange them with Cooper vision but we're still going to be unable to provide me a return their representative. Vanessa was extremely argumentative on the phone and told me that they stand behind their customers but that because I wanted to go somewhere else, there was nothing they could do for me. Told them I'd never come back and I'm going to dispute their charges to VSP and to my credit card. Her excuse was they would take a loss on their error so there was nothing they could do for me. Plenty of better options in the area! Update, went to a lens crafters and got a different prescription with a different axis and cylinder and no headaches or issues.

When I went in for a consult, I was unfortunately not a good candidate for LASIK. Dr. Feinerman suggested another procedure called EVO ICL (Implantable Collamer Lens) that I was a good fit for. Despite the higher cost compared to LASIK, I was totally on board. I scheduled my surgery appointment afterwards and I was given instructions on how to prepare for the procedure (I had to put eye drops in beforehand). The surgery center Dr. Feinerman used was in Tustin (Barranca Surgery Center). I had a very early appointment and I didn't have to wait too long. The procedure took what felt like 10 minutes, but could have been way longer (the anesthesia worked like a charm!). I had my sister drive me home, there is no way you should try to drive yourself home after getting this done!! Immediately after the surgery, my vision had a noticeable improvement, with sensitivity to light. Over the next 3 months, my vision stabilized and I don't have dry eyes as often anymore. Dr. Feinerman and his entire team were a pleasure to interact with. Totally recommend this place!!

Instead of addressing the lens issue, the staff tried to "rig" the frames by adding double nose pads and bending the ear pieces so tightly they dug into my head to force the glasses higher. When I returned after my first pair was finished on 3/16, a different staff member admitted the lenses were made incorrectly, yet they repeatedly mentioned a one-time fee for the correction as if the error was my fault. Between the initial fitting and the follow-ups, I spoke directly with four different staff members on the sales and fitting side. I received a second set of lenses on 3/25, but they were just as blurry. Trying to find the "sweet spot" in the prescription caused so much eye strain that I was in tears by 10 AM the next day. When I finally asked for a refund, they refused and even told my insurance company no. I am now out 400 dollars, I still do not have functional glasses, and I was never even given a copy of my prescription. I have officially filed a formal complaint with the California State Board of Optometry regarding the refusal to refund for a non-functional medical device. I am also reporting the office for violating the FTC Eyeglass Rule, as I was never provided a copy of my prescription after my exam. While the energy in the office is positive, the policies regarding defective products and the lack of empathy for inaccurate results is unsettling. If your prescription doesn't work out the first time, be prepared for a very difficult and expensive struggle.

Dr Truong is the sweetest and most informative Optometrist I've ever met with. I have a very low correction but I have astigmatism. I explained to her my concerns since my last eye exam (4 years ago!) and she really did a great job at educating me and giving me helpful tips on how to correct my "drifting" eye. She was so sweet, so personable! She hugged me at the end of my visit and wished me luck with my doctoral studies, since we had chatted about it during my visit. Such a phenomenal doctor. I highly recommend! The women up front were also helpful and offered me many options when I was looking for frames. read more

She is friendly, respectful, and truly committed to getting you the best solution to improve your vision. She told me if my new glasses do not work out to just let her know and she will change them. He was very knowledgeable in caring for my eyes by lowering the prescription that my previous ophthalmologist had put me on. However, I think it may be a bit too sterile in that she was too efficient that any personable, bedside manners with patients were lost in the process. I felt like I was being whisked away from one machine to another without a chance to catch my breath. Dr. Yim, the owner of this place, did have excellent bedside manners. He greeted me, allowed me to talk, as well as informing me of what was going on with my eyes. He had an excellent tone when speaking to me, almost radio-like ASMR quality. He really shines when he asks which lens is better, "1 or 2?" He was not condescending at all and was very personable in that he meets you where you're at in terms of understanding. He does a very good job of "accommodating" you (pun intended) throughout the process of an eye exam as well as recommending additional services that is covered within your service to make sure your pupils are in great health such as a pupil dilation follow up.
