I will definitely not be returning after the owner's gaslighting response in regards to their inferior packaging. I've had chocolate strawberries from MANY places, all with "high quality" hardened chocolate and none were hardened together into one giant mass, impossible to eat. They needed to be packed in a flat box each in a paper liner or not packed until they were hardened. So instead of taking this feedback as constructive criticism and modifying their packing practices, the owner insults customers' intelligence as if they are the only place with "high quality" chocolate that gets hard. Also the employee giving 8 berries is completely irrelevant to anything, more than likely they were smaller berries than normal or it was near closing and there were extra. I would rather have gotten 6 separated berries. read more

Haven't told about this place a few times and always mean to stop in. I just happen to be at the coffee shop next-door for an event and noticed they were open. I'm so happy I finally experienced it. The Customer Service is nice. The chocolate is fantastic and I have returned several times for their daily specials. was craving chocolate I had never been here before, so I decided to stop in and see what they were about. Upon entering, I found the store to be a bit cluttered--I expected a more inviting and organized space. The prices also seemed a bit high in my opinion. When I mentioned to the staff that it was my first time visiting, I didn't receive much of a warm welcome--just a simple, "Take your time." I also asked if there were any specials, but there wasn't much engagement beyond that. Overall, while the shop had potential, the atmosphere and customer service didn't quite meet my expectations. I purchased the make your own 9 piece truffle box, two chocolate covered Oreos and a bag of chocolate covered cherries. They offer many different chocolate items here, truffles, custom items and even gelato. They make everything here in house. They also ship the chocolate. The service was fast here. My girls and I loved this place! All of the items are made in house. They have different affordable daily deals for every day of the week. It's small but overfilled with chocolate. I got the white chocolate dipped cheesecake, 10/10. My girls got the chocolate dipped pretzel sticks and chips. I definitely recommend this place. The staff was super nice and it's super cute. After an especially long week I promised myself some good quality chocolate covered strawberries and decided to drive the extra miles to make my purchase at Maitland Chocolate Factory. The strawberries cost $20 for a half dozen and are made to order. You can request white, milk or dark chocolate with an drizzle on top. I went with the basic milk chocolate strawberries and added other items to my order.....chocolate covered raisins, chocolate covered potato chips and chocolate covered marshmallows. The strawberries are amazing!!! Definitely stop in for some. The raisins had a lot of dried out hard pieces. The chocolate was good ...raisins old. For me it is a one and done. These truffles are delicious! My parents gave my wife and I some for Easter and I had to go pick some more up today. They have a wide range to choose from and various gift boxes. I like the choose your own (9 for $13.50). The girl behind the counter was so nice and very helpful as I mulled over which 9 to choose. I really don't think I could have gone wrong though. They have some tasty chocolate. I was at an event at the Enzian theater and after I wanted some chocolate. Plus I needed a present for someone. I decided to see what chocolate shops were nearby. Maitland Chocolate Factory was really close. I had never been there so I figured I would give them a shot. When I entered the store I could see lots of chocolate options around me. They have a counter with a variety of chocolates and truffles to choose from. Around the store were themed molded chocolate and other packaged specialty chocolates. A woman was working while I was there. She quickly asked if I needed help and I told her I was just browsing for now. She told me to let her know if I needed anything. Once I decided on my selection I told her and she promptly came to help me. She was very nice. I ordered some chocolates for myself and I got a gift box of chocolates for my friend. This is the best place to get chocolate in the city. First of all the chocolate is pure and doesn't have any wax in it. The flavors are quite the variety and very tasteful. Normally I am not a chocolate person but i took the sunrail to the maitland chocolate factory and i was very happy with my decision.

My husband was treated very rudely when buying chocolate for me here, but the worst part was one of my pieces of chocolate had mold!! I eat gourmet chocolate every day (yes, I'm spoiled) and I have NEVER found mold in my chocolate. So disgusting!!! read more
