Then I saw the pastry case... and wow. It was one of those moments where you genuinely consider making poor financial and dietary decisions just to try everything. The croissants alone? Massive. I'm talking oversized, beautifully layered, stuffed with different fillings and topped like they're competing for a prize. A younger, more reckless version of me would've ordered at least three without hesitation. My only "complaint" (if you can call it that) is that everything is so big. I wish they had mini versions--like a tasting lineup--because I wanted to try everything but also didn't want to commit to a full-size pastry I knew I couldn't finish. Shoutout to the people who can, though. I respect you. I kept it simple with a cappuccino plus an extra shot (non-negotiable at that point), and it was exactly what I needed. I got to take my dad over here and it was a hit; we got to try their breakfast menu; the croissant sandwich was a good portion size and was delicious; I had ordered the sweet potato quiche and it had the perfect sweet and salty balance, with a slight crunch. The shop was nice and quiet giving it a chill atmosphere for a casual catch up. We came back for bakery goods and they were all decorated so nicely. We loved the passionfruit mango eclair along with the raisin croissant roll. Found this place while strolling. I wanted to keep things simple and try the plain croissant and a raisin roll. The plain croissant was perfect! Buttery, Flaky and reminded me of the croissants in Paris. The raisin roll had the perfect amount of sweetness and raisins. This one was a bit different in that it wasn't just frangipane on the inside. They combined it with a pastry cream, so it had a more luscious and smooth interior. I liked the flavor and texture, but it was a bit sweet for me. My son devoured it though! I can't attest to anything else on the menu since I ordered just the croissants for take-out. What a great coffee and breakfast shop at a very fun downtown Winter Park area! This French cafe/bakery was our favorite morning stop for a latte, pastry and breakfast sandwich. They have croissant breakfast sandwiches that are freshly cooked and large! I am usually a two breakfast sandwich guy, but just one from here absolutely hit the spot. The croissants are soft and flaky, just like they are meant to be! They also have a lunch and kids menu, but we were only here for breakfast. A charming place! The staff are absolute sweethearts, always ready to help -- whether it's with choosing something from the menu or tidying up the outdoor patio seating. I ordered coffee both to go and to drink at the café but for some reason, it tasted much better when I had it there than when I took it to go. As for the food, it's simply mouthwatering. I had decided to enjoy my coffee and croissant (which was FANTASTIC) inside the cafe while doing class work. My one complaint is the actions of the staff. I hadn't been greeted when walking in and when I finally was addressed I felt almost as though I was interrupting the employees conversation. Aware that I may have been over-analyzing the encounter, I let it be. Spontaneously walked into this cute little bakery and wasn't disappointed! Very chill vibes inside. My husband and I both ordered an iced latte with a double shot of espresso and they were great! I got vanilla and he got hazelnut. They were sweet but you could still really taste the espresso flavor coming through which was wonderful. We also ordered a key lime pie. I will say, it doesn't look like a traditional key lime pie but it had all the elements of one! I'd actually prefer this over an original pie. It had a delicious meringue whip on the top with a little piece of dark chocolate, and then the "key lime" part was amazing!! It was fluffy and super tart. The bottom piece was a very crumbly graham cracker of sorts. It was so good. The perfect amount of tartness, sweetness and crunch! The pie was definitely the star of the show. It's a tight squeeze as you stand in line to order, but there are a few tables inside and more on the sidewalk outside under the awning. The food was pretty good, although very expensive. 2 croissant sandwiches, a side of potatoes, and a drink cost us almost $50. The sandwiches were very good and the potatoes weren't bad, but the iced tea I got was flavorless. We've walked by this place a million times and never noticed it because it's on a side street of Morse off of Park Ave. It's a cute little croissant shop with pastries and hot breakfast items as well. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. You place your order at the counter and then someone will bring it to your table. We ordered the Salted Caramel Cappuccino and it was delicious, literally a hug in a mug. The croissants were warm and flaky but the chocolate one was our favorite. We ordered the American Breakfast and it was good, I just wish they would've cooked the bacon a little more. The French Toast was good too it was nice and light. This meal was very satisfying and didn't make you feel overstuffed. Everything pictured was shared between 2 people. The staff was very tentative with taking plates away, cleaning our area, and asking if we needed anything. I can't wait to comeback and try some more of their beautiful pastries. read more

I have yet to be disappointed by anything from Croissant Gourmet and I'm surprised I haven't left a review yet, so this is a bit overdue. The flavor and quality of everything I've ordered here has been 5-stars every time. I love the crepes, croissants (chocolate is my favorite) and the Parisian panini sandwich and recently discovered the delectable ham & Swiss croissant... wow I WILL be coming back for it but living through my pictures of it for now. The coffees and espressos have always been fabulous although recently I've been enjoying the hazelnut latte with oatmilk... yum! Treat yourself to a pastry to go!! The staff have always been helpful and tentative and the establishment always presents itself as clean and inviting. The reason for -1 star is the lack of price transparency. I always feel like it's a gamble with my orders as there isn't any clearly labeled pricing on anything and I find it frustrating, not cool to find out after ordering that my lunch is nearly 30$... anyway, I really enjoy everything I have here but they could be more price-transparent. The bad: I recently visited and tried the Truffle Croque Monsieur. "Toasted Brioche, Ham, Swiss Cheese, Truffle Homemade Bechamel Sauce." I ordered it with a side salad. I've had Croque Monsieur before and when done right it can be spectacular. This one though, the brioche was hardly toasted, the bottom slice was so soggy it really didn't add anything to the dish, not a hint of truffle anywhere to be found, and overall quite, quite bland. The side salad had thinly julienned raw carrots that were so odd in size that made it hard for the fork to grab, so I left those behind, and finally the dressing tasted like an average restaurant-store bought dressing. I was truly dissatisfied and quite disappointed with this dish. The good: Service was great, and I have been there before and tried the ham and brie croissant which I have recommended to friends and family. That one is a winner. Simple and yet tasty. Next time I'll just stick to croissants and sweets. read more

Only recommendation I would have is maybe try to get banana at this location as well. Besides that, this crêpe was outstanding. I'm a crepe enthusiast, so I eat a lot of crêpes, and I love this one.
