Ribeye French Dip and Wagyu Smash Burger

We are visiting from California. I had the Ribeye French Dip and my sister had the Wagyu Smash Burger! So so so good! Best meal we've had!! We came back the second day to try more before we head back home! Great food and great customer service! It's a must visit!

Far and away the best meal I've had since moving to Boston! We ordered the Mediterranean mezze and the Italian sandwich. The mezze was so flavorful, fresh, fun, and filling! We didn't even have room for the sandwich by the time we finished. Everything was perfect and I couldn't stop smiling while eating it! We had the sandwich later for dinner and it was also very flavorful, perhaps slightly too garlicy for my taste, but still one of the best I've ever had. So so so good. Try the pickles!!!

Absolutely must try. This was the best meal I've had in a while. All the flavors were incredible and everything was so fresh. Prices were extremely reasonable especially for what you're getting. The beet drinks are a must try if you like beets--you will not be disappointed!

This is by far the most amazing sandwich and burger( not pictured) I ever tasted!

The food is seriously one of the best I've had in a long while. My wife and I had the Cubano and the wagyu burger and both were a delectable experience. We savored every bite. That's not hyperbole. The service was really accommodating and friendly. The ambiance was actually eye catching; it reminded me of a traditional/vintage restaurant. We 100% will be coming back.

A great family-owned business. I got the 1863 sandwich, which came with a side salad (all sandwiches come with one). Definitely a top-notch sandwich with fresh ingredients. One highlight was the ciabatta bread itself--perfectly toasted and had a wonderful aroma. It's a small restaurant so it unfortunately got very loud inside. Easily worth the slight detour!

After several people recommending this place, my friend and I stopped by for lunch. Super cute and comfortable vibe. Their food is farm to table and you can really taste the quality and freshness of their dishes. I was super impressed by the Summer vegetable panzanella. One of the best salads I've ever had. My friend ordered the curry with lentils. We absolutely loved it here. Come here if you want delicious and fresh food!

The service was great and our server was amazing. The ambiance was a little bar feeling with lots of wood tables which I liked. Now let's get to the food.. Pork buns: the pork was cooked perfectly and the bun was nice and soft. The sauce went well everything and it's a great starter dish. Spicy Kimchi Ramen- this consists of pork belly, pickled mushrooms, kimchi and fried garlic. The ramen was really good and had a lot of flavor with just the right amount of spice from the kimchi. Perfect for a cold day! Colonel Sanders Ramen- this had a pork broth with fried chicken and was delicious and moist. Also had corn with Vermont butter which you can taste through the bowl. This dish was the highlight for me and I'll definitely be back again. If you're in Salem, MA and are craving ramen then be sure to give this place a try.

However, the food itself wasn't spectacularly special for me to grant the fifth star. There was a good amount of fat on the pork belly, and I wasn't really a fan of the wavy noodles. It's like cheap noodles in what should be a premium dish. The flavored sodas (N/A alternatives) were a great find and a decent value on the menu. Service was friendly and quick, we stopped by with no reservations on a weekday and got seated. All in all, would be back for appetizers.

Over the next 20 minutes (without service or even a "come to the bar to order even though you're sitting at a table") we watched as three more couples walked in, met by the bartender (who passed by us to accomplish ) brought to a table, and then served. When the second bartender came out from around the bar, we perked up, only to find them addressing yet another couple that arrived after us. We got zero drinks, we got zero acknowledgment. For a bar that says "all souls welcome", we certainly did not feel it.

I was looking for vegan-friendly options near my hotel, and this spot was conveniently close by. The menu had so much to choose from: bowls, handhelds, drinks, desserts, and more. I don't usually order iced coffees or teas, but the Blueberry Cloud Matcha sounded too interesting to pass up. It came out beautifully layered, with whipped foam on top, matcha in the middle, and blueberry syrup at the bottom. I noticed some people using straws, but I drank it without one, and it was delicious. The foam blended into everything perfectly while still keeping those pretty layers. My bowl came out soon after and was just as nicely presented. I especially loved the whipped sweet potato, which was such delicate touch. The bowl was also very filling, with lots of fresh, hearty ingredients, so I couldn't quite finish it--but it was satisfying and delicious. I visited late in the afternoon, around 3pm on a sunny Friday, and the cafe was still packed. There was plenty of seating, including cozy corners and brighter areas near the windows. Overall, it felt peaceful, relaxed, and very much like a community hub. If you're visiting Salem and looking for a vegan-friendly spot, this is definitely worth checking out.
