Typical beach side restaurant/ fare. Good menu. Good food. There's a long take away line but at least when we were there it we were only ones in restaurant. Appreciated the plug near table so I could charge my phone! Staff were pleasant.

I took a day trip with my family to Rockport. We had a beach day in front of Front Beach and noticed Fresco's Seaside. The place was so cute and clean, the food was amazing, and best of all, they had an amazing view and I was able to hang out with my dog while enjoying my food due to their outside patio. I had the Louisiana style clams, the were to die for. The clam bellies were fresh and crispy. We tried both the hot and cold lobster roll and it was amazing. Their fresh coconut was very refreshing and sweet. We came with a family of 5, and love how their menu offers a variety of seafood, clubs, subs, and sandwiches. My dad had the chicken parm and he said very flavorful. To top off the amazing experience, we finished it off with popsicles and slushes. Overall it was incredible.Perfect beach side portions. My family and I will definitely be back.

The food was immaculate! I ordered the fried scallop seafood boat and Louisiana style clams and lobster roll. The scallops were super fresh and the portion size was very generous. The Louisiana style clams and lobster roll were delicious and very flavorful. The store is situated in a perfect location directly across from the beach and the employees were very kind and welcoming. Will definitely be back!

Wow! Tiny and cute place. The food was delicious. We ordered steak tidbits & a turkey club. Fries were amazing as well as those deep fried Oreos!!! It was just my boyfriend and I sitting and enjoying our meal but this place deserves more attention! Nicest people too!

Loved the new take on the lobster rolls & calms! The Louisiana style is flavor packed & a must try. They have fresh coconuts perfect to sip on as you stroll the beach.

The view did not disappoint as the ocean is in front of you and the food did not disappoint either. I had the best fried clams of my life and the sauces was phenomenal as well. Definitely return when I come back in Boston!

Looks like they are generally open 9am-6pm daily, sometime early May through year end. Order at the counter inside their little shop, pay, and head down the little alley (hold on tightly to your stuff so you don't accidentally drop anything enroute) to their back deck with limited seating, and access to their bathrooms. Listen up for your name and they will bring you your food on a tray. A family of three shared the 3 chicken lobsters for $50 during the 2025 season, and a dozen raw oysters for $30. My single lobster was $18. Single oysters $3 apiece. Creamy clam chowder $7. Stuffed clam $3. The $30 cold lobster roll came with cole slaw and a bag of chips. The hot dog roll looked small but was well filled with fresh sweet lobster meat. Her smoked salmon $8 were two thick chunks of fish. My hot in-shell boiled lobster arrived several minutes after, pre-cracked. Carefully poured out the green water, and I went at it. Making use of the sink by the bathroom afterwards to get cleaned up. A delicious way to start our outing to Rockport! BTW parking in the nearby area is paid and seasonal. Head to the kiosk, enter the license plate, pay an affordable price, and stick the slip on your dashboard. Parking tickets are no fun.

Nice large piece of fish and he said it had little too much blacking seasoning but he was it was amazing. I could not decide what I wanted because it all looked so good. It was lunch and I really wanted the Risotto. But, I didn't want anything super heavy. Glad I chose it anyway. Holy smokes was it delicious. The risotto was perfectly cooked and not too buttery. I have found Maine loooves their butter & often drown their dishes. This was perfect. The fish was amazing and I definitely over ate!! Thinking back, this was one of my most favorite meals in all of Maine. I still dream of that Risotto.

My husband said the baked haddock was the very best he's ever had. My Mediterranean salmon was also outstanding. My mother and sister raved about their appetizers, including jumbo shrimp, clams and steamers. Everything we ordered was excellent. I was especially pleased with the serving size. Some restaurants have a nice presentation, yet small serving size, but not Seaport, it had both. To top it off, the Sherry Berry is a dessert everyone must try! Perfect finish to a perfect meal. In addition to the restaurant itself and amazing food, the service was excellent. We were greeted by the extremely friendly manager, Carter, and were well taken care of by our personable waitress Kristina. She was so attentive and pleasant throughout our whole meal. Hungry and with no time for deeper research, we decided to try Causeway Restaurant after seeing its high Yelp rating. The restaurant shares a small front parking lot with White Farms Ice Cream, but fortunately, we easily found parking in the back. Our first impression was that the place feels quite outdated. The tables are packed very closely together, making it difficult to get to your seat or even visit the bathroom without accidentally brushing against other diners. There's also only one bathroom for the entire restaurant, and it could definitely use some refreshing. The biggest issue during our visit was the heat. It was 86°F outside, and unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn't working. The restaurant was very hot, and I genuinely felt bad for the staff who had to cook and serve in those conditions. We also felt like the cutlery, dishes, and glasses were a little outdated and could use a refresh. Updating these small details would make the overall experience feel even nicer. On the positive side, Causeway is BYOB, which is a nice option. According to the menu, they charge $1 per glass for beer and wine setup. The menu prices are comparable to those at much fancier seafood restaurants. We ordered cheeseburgers from the kids' menu (ours were supposed to be medium but came out a little burnt), as well as smelt and fish-and-shrimp platters. The seafood itself was fresh, although we felt it could have used a little more seasoning and salt. The absolute best part of our experience was the service. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant. Our server was especially attentive and wonderful with the kids. We even noticed how warmly she greeted regular customers and treated them almost like family. That kind of hospitality really stands out. Overall, I think Causeway has a lot of potential. The fresh seafood and excellent staff are a great foundation, but the restaurant would benefit significantly from some renovations, better spacing between tables, a refreshed bathroom, and working air conditioning. With those improvements, the fairly high menu prices would feel much more justified.

Harbor Views, Fresh Seafood & Coastal Charm at Blue Collar Lobster Co.!…read more Few dining experiences capture the spirit of Gloucester quite like Blue Collar Lobster Co. This charming waterfront seafood spot earned an easy five stars from us and was the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing meal before heading to a concert at The Cut. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the setting. Located right on Gloucester Harbor next to the iconic Gloucester House Restaurant, this cozy nautical eatery offers everything you hope to find on the Massachusetts coast: refreshing sea breezes, colorful lobster boats bobbing in the harbor, seagulls soaring overhead, and spectacular waterfront views in every direction. Inside, the atmosphere is delightfully authentic. Hundreds of colorful fishing buoys hanging from the ceiling create a fun maritime feel that immediately reminds you that you're in one of New England's most historic fishing communities. Before long, the four of us were happily sampling some of the restaurant's fresh seafood favorites. We enjoyed creamy clam chowder, briny oysters on the half shell, succulent shrimp cocktail, and delicious Bang Bang shrimp, all accompanied by cold drinks and unbeatable harbor views. Every bite tasted fresh and flavorful. The ordering process is simple and convenient. Check out the menu, place your order at the window, grab a tray, and find a seat. If possible, choose a table in the screened porch overlooking the water. There's something magical about enjoying seafood while watching fishing boats come and go from the harbor just a few feet away. Blue Collar Lobster Co. offers an impressive menu featuring fresh lobster, handheld sandwiches, fried seafood platters, soups, and appetizers at reasonable prices. The combination of delicious food, friendly atmosphere, stunning scenery, and excellent value makes this a destination we'll gladly return to again and again.
