Love a coffee spot that doesn't feel like you're sharing a table with a stranger's elbow. The drinks are creative and delicious. The service was fast and the barista was incredibly kind, patient even when I took way too long deciding (classic Libra). This is a Seattle gem and I will be returning whenever I find myself in the neighborhood!

And he didn't even seem to care about the mistake when he served it to me making it seem like I would be an inconvenience and wasteful for asking for it to be remade. He didn't even turn away from the girl he'd been flirting with who was blocking the pick up bar and my sandwich. And after having spent twenty minutes waiting already, I didn't want to spend twenty minutes more being a bystander to his nauseating attempts at trying to appeal to her. For the twenty dollars I paid for my sandwich + drink , this is downright abysmal service. Not to mention picking out the tomato completely ruined my manicure with the pesto, so what was even the point of tipping an extra five dollars on top of that for them to do it for me. I had loved this place the last few times I dropped in to work but I'm never coming back here after this terrible experience.

Upon checking in everyone gets a welcome glass of wine, white, red or rose. I love that small touch, especially because they're centered in WA wine country. The room was huge, included a soaking tub and separate shower area. We had a working fire place and a gorgeous balcony where a humming bird greeted me in the morning. I felt like a Disney princess baby! The grounds are gorgeous and there are a ton of spaces to rest, sit, explore, sit among wild flowers and fountains. I read a book in the warm sun, feet up on a bench among wild flowers. I also enjoyed the restaurant in premise and had a long luxurious soak in the hot tub. I loved the plush robes in the rooms and you can customize your shower experience by adjusting the temperature yourself. I loved every bit of my overnight stay with my 2 besties. We split one night and paid about $115 bucks each which made the room about $345 give or take. We had 2 comfy beds in the room and plenty of space! I had a fabulous time and loved that we were able to winery/vineyard and restaurant hop in close proximity of our lodge!

There was no one there to greet us and looked like that they were still getting the dining room ready. The hostess did not come out until five minutes before seating time. I was kind of disappointed since this was supposed to be a special Easter brunch, but there was nothing to indicate that this was for Easter other than a few of the desserts. No Easter bunny, there are a couple Easter egg decorations on every table, but that was about it. Still, the ambience was good, a fancy brunch at a fancy hotel. The wait staff provided excellent service. The food was provided in a pretty good spread. The prime rib and the fresh oysters were probably the standout of the food. I don't know why they only have one person with two tiny hot plates to man the made to order station there for everyone. The family did like the desserts, they were very cute. My wife thought that they were too sweet, but that just means I like them a lot. All in all, it was a good brunch to experience once for a special occasion. No huge complaints here.

Beautiful view from our room! Our room was clean and spacious. Nice size bathroom. It has a small area with a sink and cabinet. Coffee maker, tiny fridge and microwave! Everything we needed for our stay. Heated pool and Hot tub! Very nice! Good WiFi too! I really enjoyed staying here! It was close to nice restaurants, a golf course and close to the ferry to Canada! The only thing that was a disappointment was the Free breakfast didn't have the basic scrabbled eggs, bacon or sausage. The only eggs they served was cold hard boiled eggs. I opted for yogurt for my protein. Coffee was good. They had a waffle maker and lots of bagels, toast, english muffins, cereal all the basics but no warm eggs , bacon , sausage or hash browns :( Overall my stay was great! I would stay here again.

They are located on the outskirts of Port Angeles by the golf course. They are very close to the park itself and makes for a great place to stay when visiting the park. We reserved a 2 queen room with a golf course view months in advance. They gave us a room on the second floor. The room was nice and cozy. The 2 queen rooms have a nice sized bathroom with a tub/shower combo. My wife and daughter did complain about with the soap and shampoo for their shower. It has been a while since we've seen a bar of soap as most hotels use body wash now. The shampoo is a shampoo and conditioner combo. They did not like the soap or shampoo. Breakfast is served downstairs. It was continental breakfast only. No meats. Just waffles, toast, cereals, juice and coffee. It was good enough for the 2 days that we stayed there. They do have an exercise room with treadmills, ellipticals and dumbbells for you to lift. It was less equipment than at some other hotels, but it was enough for you to get a good workout. This might be the best hotel in Port Angeles. You don't have much of a choice. If you visit Port Angeles and want a nicer hotel, this is the place.
