After hiring the The Roof Doctors, they: a) removed the existing layer of roofing shingles to wood deck, b) installed ice and water shield on all eaves and valleys, around chimneys, and on all low pitch areas of roofing b) installed premium GAF synthetic vapor barrier on field section of roof deck, c) installed GAF Timberline Lifetime shingles, d) installed new roll vent ridge vent system e) installed new step flashing and counter flashing including base around chimney, f) installed new GAF Hip and Ridge caps, and g) installed new counter flashing on chimneys. They even installed gutter guards and trimmed low-hanging branches above upper roof section -- at no extra cost. The entire project was all for under $10,000! They really worked with me to get the pricing to where the insurance would accept the quote, and after quoting a few different companies they were competitively priced. We have a big issue with this company's customer support. We hired them to replace the siding on…read morethe 45-year-old manufactured home that we bought 30 years ago. When they removed the old siding they uncovered some cosmetic damage to the foundation. They said they couldn't re-cover the area with siding, as doing so would void the manufacturer's warranty. Nor could they repair the "damage" themselves because, as they said, "We're a siding company, not masons". Thus, tens of thousands of dollars later our home was an eyesore and Keystone was no where in sight. In the end I was able to fix the problem myself; a mason was not even required. I feel, though, that Keystone should have offered just a hint of customer support by fixing a relatively simple problem themselves, or at least suggesting someone who could do the work. So though they did a good job installing the siding, I would never hire them again, nor recommend that anyone else do so.
