Lucas answered while on an existing job. He was very honest saying he can't drop by to make an assessment. Knowing the importance of the situation, he said he'll have his father drop by to take a look. The father (was it Joe?) came by as promised and saw that the previous roofer didn't put flashing around a portion of the chimney. He gave a couple of possible fixes and I picked the more expensive one. He gave me a break on price if i went with the more expensive fix which i appreciated. Before showing up for the work due to budgeting issues i changed to the lower price solution. He didn't have any problems with this change. He and his other son (not Lucas) came on the day as promised. The funny thing was I didn't know they were there until i heard banging outside! They ripped some of the old roof tiles, installed new flashing and overlay them with some leftover tiles I had laying around. They also caulked around other parts of the chimney. They cleaned up their mess. There were aome storms afterwards and no leak! Thx to Lucas for knowing the importance of the problem and having your father and brother fit me into their schedule. And thx to father and son (was it Joe and Ezekiel?!) for fixing the leak! I would definitely consider them to put in a new roof when the time comes!

They just aren't the most responsive and often you have to reach out to them more than once. They were also supposed to clean the windows after installing them. When I pointed that out to the installer as he was taking his ladder down, he went back up and used the sleeve of his shirt to try to wipe a streak away, which he was not successful at.

Mr. Kling told us - well you got a "cheap price"- we did not negotiate him down from his estimate.. he then promised to fix the broken sheet rock in the rooms effected by roof collapse - "will send my best guy" tomorrow - we fixed our selves when they did not show up for a week. They subbed it out to a crew that does not speak English - they are underpaying them.. so they do not show up and they do low quality work when they are here.. 4 day job - we are now on week 2.. what a mess. They are driving nails through the new roof instead of using brackets.. so far half the work is done - and will be a patched up "new roof" at best when they finish.. lesson? never trust a guy who uses his dog in his ad and tells you that you have his "word"..
