Then one day I drove passed Shear Brilliance Salon on 611 and did some research on Google and Facebook. I saw many great reviews so I figured I would give them a call. The woman who answered the phone was extremely nice and made my appointment with Kaci. I am ALWAYS so nervous when it comes to going to new salons and having a new stylist do my hair, but when I walked in I felt very welcomed. Everyone there is so nice and they offer you water or coffee. They always ask if there is anything you need. Now, Kaci is the only stylist I will go to. She's awesome and does exactly what I want to my hair. I am picky, so when there is something I think needs to be fixed, she fixes it no problem! I would definitely recommend this salon! I requested a trial with the understanding that she was available to do my makeup for the date of my wedding. She checked her calendar and assured me she was available. I live in another state, so this was my one day in Stroudsburg to do my trial. Literally less than a week later (after I've flown home and cannot do a trial with anyone else) she cancels on me to say she is flying to Aruba! You didn't know you were flying to Aruba 6 days ago!?! You just did my trial to take $85 of my money!! Now, when I call her, it goes straight to voicemail. But her cancellation text said, "Don't worry I have a friend who can take you." Yeah, that friend (Tara Matos) charges over $200!! Also, that friend tried to pawn me off on another stylist the first time I spoke to her. No, thank you. This was my first haircut post Covid and they followed all the guidelines and made sure their clients felt safe and welcomed. The salon is set up beautifully with high end touches and they carry a wonderful line of products! Matt listened to what I wanted and made sure I was happy with the color and cut. He worked all while carrying on the most pleasant conversation. It was like we were old friends catching up even though we'd never met. After seeing my hair, my mom was blown away and booked herself an appointment that same week. Her hair has never looked better!! Matthew is truly great at and passionate about his craft. So so so looking forward to my next appointment.
