I'm going to try and keep this short. I was really bothered by my experience earlier but I'd like to put it behind me. My daughter and I got here today for a vacation today, we've never been here. We thought it would be fun to get gel manicures so we made an appt for 5pm. We got there promptly at 5pm and the guy that helped us rushed through my daughter's manicure, it literally was no more than 15 minutes. He basically filed for a couple of minutes and polished her nails. And he rushed through that also. She was so upset she started tearing up and had to leave. I didn't wait around for me. Ridiculous. $52 for nail polish, awesome. What a disappointment.

Although, they were an Uber ride away, compared to a short walk away from some other nail salons I came across it looked worth it. So happy with the service. Glad I took the trip. Benz was great! Professional is an understatement. He pays attention to detail and tends to your needs still while welcoming the next customer through the door. Welcoming environment, numerous choice of colors, technique on point ( I'm from NYC they do a few steps differently but still on point) and complementary beverage soft drinks / wine or beer- we definitely don't have that in NYC) This place is awesome hope he expands and comes to New York! This place is awesome- it's a little hard to find because it's in a new building so you might have to put Domino's Pizza in your GPS. It's across from Joseph Riley Jr park. Me and my husband had amazing spa pedicures with massage, hot stone, the works. So relaxing as we looked thru the huge glass windows- I'm used to always looking at a wall or other people on a nail salon. This please is new, clean, professional and super friendly staff. Definitely recommend and you won't be disappointed!

So glad this place opened up. Its hard to find a nail salon that takes the time to do the design you want. They were super helpful when I showed them the photo I wanted. The space is huge with plenty of pedicure chairs and they offer you complimentary beverages!

I recently came in & tried the VIP service at Majestic after seeing it all over social media! It was suchh an amazing experience!! It was a 3-in-1 service that includes a head spa, facial, and pedicure, all done in a private room which made it feel really relaxing and peaceful. The whole experience felt like a mini spa day instead of just a regular nail appointment. Everything was very clean and the staff was so attentive and professional. I loved being able to relax and enjoy multiple services in one visit. Highly recommend trying the VIP service if you want something extra relaxing! OR it would be great gift for a friend or family member!! read more

I chose this salon because of the great reviews, but unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. I came in with a reference photo for a basic pink French manicure and specifically requested a coffin/square shape. Angie, the owner and technician who performed the service, completed both appointments. The initial appointment took nearly 2 hours, yet I left with nails that were uneven in shape and length, mismatched French tips, and did not resemble the inspiration photo I provided. I immediately contacted the salon, sent photos, and explained my concerns. The salon agreed the nails needed correction and asked me to return the following day. What should have been a quick fix turned into another 1.5-hour appointment. Every nail had to be re-filed, one nail had to be extended because it was noticeably shorter than the others, and the skin around my index finger was injured during filing. The area was painful enough that I had to ask for antiseptic and remained irritated for hours afterward. There was also cured product left on the skin around my thumb. Less than 24 hours after the correction appointment, one of the corrected extensions began lifting and bending, which was especially frustrating given the amount of time spent trying to fix the original issues. After nearly 4 hours across two visits for a simple French manicure, the nails still are not fully consistent in shape or length. I gave the salon every opportunity to correct the issues before leaving this review, but I will not be returning. read more

Decided on a whim to do a mani/pedi....called about an hour before I could be there and they were able to get me in. I'm so glad I did. Not only did I just need it, I really needed it! The break, the relaxation. They were very nice when I called and even helped me with the parking situation since I'm not from the area... What a great location... I had not only fantastic service but one of the best regular polish jobs I've ever had. It didn't chip within a few days. Nope, this one lasted me at least 10 days before any polish flaking or chipping even started to show minimal signs. My toes stayed for about 6 weeks and then I just had to remove the polish, it was dark and on for too long...toe nails needed to breathe. The place was pretty empty but it was not too much before closing time, they were very nice and did a fabulous job. I would come back! read more

Very beautiful and conveniently located salon. That said, probably the best worst gel manicure I've received of all the Charleston salons. She didn't let my gel cure under the lamp long enough between layers and was rushing (even though there was no one else waiting). I knew they weren't very well cured so I tried to be extremely careful with them but they still chipped (and creased) so quickly. Very disappointing. read more

I went here today. I had the best manicure dip & pedicure I've had that wasn't at my own salon in Seattle. I have terrible old feet, & the Pedicurist, Stefany, knew right what she needed to do. Laura did my manicure & she was meticulous & gentle filing/cutting my nails & applying the dip. Neither one cut or nicked me in the process. They are friendly, but if you don't want to talk, they respect this. Both are excellent! read more

I decided to try the dip for my nails which I've never had done before. The man did a very nice job, it's a great color and it does seem like it's going to last a long time. I'm hesitant to give any nail salon in Charleston a 5 star since everytime I fall in love, something happens and then I get disappointed. This salon, so far, is really great. Super clean, huge selection of colors and they do a really nice job on my nails, so far no issues with chipping or breaking. My main concerns are twofold: not sure if they take appointments and that would be nice and they remove the dipping powder by soaking your fingers in a baggie with cotton and acetone which I really dislike. I guess they think it takes quicker than wrapping with foil, etc, but I really hate my fingers soaking in all that acetone. That's what costs them the star. However; at this time, I will continue to go back as they are currently the best option I have. read more

Majestic nails is always great about getting you in when you call ahead same day! Michelle is absolutely THE BEST for SNS/Dip (and probably any other mani/pedi option). She is quick and pays attention to detail. These are my wedding nails and she went off a picture I had and did the best job. Highly recommend! Great and clean facility as well. read more

This really is a Majestic experience -- I have been going to this nail spa since they opened, and will not go anywhere else. Extremely clean and friendly staff, who ensure a positive and relaxing experience. The staff has made an effort to get to know me, and always offer a drink when I come in. This spa is one of the cleanest I have seen in Charleston. They offer a student discount (most nail spas in Charleston don't despite being a college town). I am so happy I found Majestic Nails. read more

This was my 3rd visit to Majestic Nails and they've been great every time! Benz does an amazing dip manicure. The shape is perfect and he was able to easily recreate the picture I showed him. Tony gives a great pedicure as well. The massage was awesome and he takes his time which I appreciate. The salon is bright and clean, and the staff are all friendly. I've been recommending them to all of my friends. They're my go to salon moving forward, and that's saying a lot as I have very high expectations. Don't miss out! read more

For a Swedish massage, I would say my masseuse was using very rapid movements, ones that wake you up vs relax. There was also a lot of time spent on upper body and hardly lower and usually when you don't really specify, it's balanced. Overall, lovely spa, decent pricing, but massage could have been better.

We discussed the style (up-do) that I wanted for the wedding, as she assessed what would be the best course to get the results that I wanted. I had been coloring my own hair and it needed a serious amount of correction. She took a few "before" pics and then she got started. She began by blunt cutting the dead ends off, and removing some of the length, about 4 inches give or take. She began a very long correction and coloring process that lifted some of the awful color that I had ended up with and blended several beautiful colors in a balayage process. She then proceeded with a real haircut, and style. The total process took a fair amount of time, and I was in a hurry to get to the hotel and meet up with my sister, so I rushed out, and hurried through a few pictures that her assistant wanted to take. She showed them to me, and I asked to see the "befores". OMG!! The change was nothing short of epic! She hadn't changed the color in a drastic way, but the layering of beautiful tones as well as the best haircut I've had in many years was simply amazing. The confidence she gave me as I started a four day wedding weekend with people I had yet to meet was off the charts, and meant more to me than she could possibly know. Now I'm just trying to figure out how to afford flying to Charleston every six weeks or so because I don't want anyone else touching my hair! I have been going here since April 2022. Since moving to CHS last year, I was very disappointed with the nail salons around here - until I found Majestic Nails! I always call & make an appointment, which is easy to do. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes, which I typically take to look through colors. They have the most color selections I've ever seen! Once you sit down, they offer drinks - ranging from water, soda, even to alcohol like White Claws, beer, or wine. My favorite girl for a manicure (&the one who did the ghosts in the picture) is Michelle - however, I have never been disappointed by anyone who did my nails & typically don't specific which nail artist when doing appointments. With my both my pedicures & pedicures, everything is sterile & very thorough. They truly cut back your cuticles and such when you get a dip manicure (a rarity) & spend time to make sure everything is perfect. Though it isn't the cheapest around, you get what you pay for - with the experience & product. Very much so recommend! read more

I am in town for a wedding and needed to get my nails done. I reached out to the Facebook page last night and they replied and got me scheduled that night for the next day! When I walked in a was quickly taken care of and escorted to my chair. Andy did a wonderful job on my pedicure, he was meticulous but also quick and efficient. Michelle did my dip nails with extension while I was getting my pedicure and did a fabulous job as well. She checked with me along the way to make sure I liked the shape and color. Valentina was lovely and my pedicure and manicure were so relaxing. I was able to stay awake n the massage chair for both, and while I dried. (That might not be the case if it's busy.) The salon is clean and contemporary. It was my first time at a SC nail salon, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Parking is in a gravel main lot, and has some pot holes, so just drive slowly.
