We had Majestic Pools install our pool in 1999 and over the years they have serviced it and we were never disappointed In 2017 we had them install a new pool liner by the end of the year it had wrinkles in the bottom by the time we opened it up in 2018 the wrinkles were worse. We contacted them after sending multiple employees out, we were told they would take care of it the following spring We trusted them to do this! In 2019 we only heard excuses and that in 2020 they would take care of it as we took underwater videos and sent it to them insisting that the liner be replaced. In 2020-- nothing even though we sent certified letters. I have all documentation and dates of our conversations and dated video. I wrote a letter this year 2021 in February and have yet to hear back from them I will be reconsidering other options as to the best way to go forward with my problem another note: We have had them open and close our pool every year but even that the last few years I have had to make adjustments on what was done--Filters were never placed properly- things like that. Recently was scheduled to have my pool opened 5/21, which was confirmed on 5/20 by Majestic. On 5/21 (the day of the appt), they called in the afternoon to say they could not make it and that they would be there on Monday 5/23. Although frustrating because we had waited around all day, I said that was fine. On that Monday, they "opened" the pool, but explained that they could not get the pool heater to work properly. They said they would have to send out another guy on Thursday 5/26 to fix the heater. Nobody showed up. We called to find out what time they might be coming and were greeted with extreme rudeness and unprofessionalism by not only the servicing representative but also the "owner". I was extremely frustrated and asked to speak to a manager and the "owner" refused to transfer me. The reason why this was confusing was because my called and when she spoke to the same woman and asked to speak to the manager the "owner" transferred her. The owner then called my wife "disrespectful". As someone in the service industry myself, this is NO WAY to handle upset customers. And before the "owner" replies to my review saying that I was rude on the phone, take that time and use it to train your employees on how to handle upset customers instead of belittling myself and my wife. This company is laughable and a bunch of crooks. You brag about being the only pool company open for 40+ years, but it is shocking you made it that far based on your service. If you are recommended this company by anyone, run away as fast as you can. UPDATE: I just got a call back from a different person (don't know why the "owner" wouldn't handle this situation) and they told me they would only come to my house to fix WHAT THEY PROMISED if I deleted my review. The worst experience ever. Save yourself a huge headache and go with another company. We were dug back in April. It's now the end of May and the job is still not complete. They have a million and one reasons why they can't do anything. Brendon the sales guy who is supposedly buying the company out is pure ignorant. He yells and is nasty to customers. He passes the blame on everyone but their company. We have paid them over 40k dollars and they want final payment before they come out to finish. Not happening. Never pay before the job is complete. They are so untrust worthy. Today the company needed access to my home. I wasn't there but trusted them and left it open. I came home to mud al over my wood floors and new carpets. They definitely didn't go straight to the basement. I had footprint in front of my refrigerator. Why not get a snack. Two month after they finally finished the pool we had a huge sink hole in it. It took them over 2 years to come fix it. They changed the plumbing to have a bigger filter. Now only one side of the pool sucks in water to go through the skimmer. I had majestic install my pool in 2015 and Johnny Bunch was great ,how ever there service department is terrible especially the manager Rick . We were scheduled to open our pool and I called 2 months in advance to schedule like I have been doing for 7 years and they never showed. I called them and they told me I was not on there calendar and that I never called yet I had my phone log with the date and time I called. Rick was very rude and not apologetic to me the CUSTOMER instead he said he would do me a favor and open it the next day. They did come out and when they opened it they checked my heater and then left it running for 3 days. When my husband finally noticed steam coming off the pool we realized they left the heater on and my pool was at 98 degrees! I DO NOT recommend Majestic Pools to anyone. read more

Majestic Pools has been handling the servicing of my family members in-ground pool and jacuzzi for several years. Last year, we had an issue with the plumbing of the jacuzzi of which she then had Majestic (who had been servicing it prior) fix. This was a costly repair but due to the nature of the backyard pool/spa, she fixed immediately. This April, she again hired Majestic to come and open her pool/jacuzzi on April 26th. Less than 8 hours after opening the pool, the jacuzzi was TOTALLY popped out of the ground (think: a vessel the size of an ATV, pic below) after all the water had drained from the jacuzzi and into the ground underneath, with the pressure of the water and lack of water weight in the jacuzzi popping it out. Since then, it has been an absolute NIGHTMARE getting them to fix the issue and they've now refused to take the blame for it, saying "the jacuzzi was running just fine when they left". Now, we're also having issues with the pool filtration/drainage and an 8-year old was hurt as a result of how they left the pool/jacuzzi. When begging and pleading with management, who told me they would "reset the jacuzzi in the ground for $3,000.00", they sent a service tech to the house unannounced who knocked the my sliding glass patio door and told us that they couldn't offer any information on the issues and would report back with management and contact me. A week went by with no response, and now management is simply telling us that it isn't their problem and asking for $3,000 to reset the jacuzzi (which, keep in mind, doesn't even work properly since they opened the pool/jacuzzi TWO MONTHS AGO). When explaining how upset we were and how much we trusted them, and telling him that we were extremely frustrated in their care/service, the manager Rick simply explained that they are booked solid all summer and our opinion of them has no reflection on how successful of a company they are. He said he'd let the owner John know, and we never heard from them again. We are feeling neglected, used and quite frankly scammed. After researching other more reputable pool companies in WNY, we are quickly finding that MANY other folks have been taken advantage of and left out to dry. This is a terrible business with folks who could care less about the safety and integrity of their work and only concerned with their own bottom line. Shame on YOU! stay away from this D- rated company from BBB. I purchased a pool pump motor on 4/15 from Majestic Pools. I installed it on 4/15. It would not start. I called Majestic Pools to let them know of the issue. I agreed to pay for an $89.00 service call to look at it. No one came. So, on 4/19, I decided to return the product since it was not operational. The clerk refused to process my return. As you might imagine, that infuriated me. The clerk's stance was immediately accusatory that I fried the motor without even checking it or knowing for sure. He just assumed I fried it and would not even consider an exchange. When I realized I was not getting anywhere with him, I felt I had no option but to leave. Thanks to a different pool company who was willing to help me, they were able to realize that the cord Majestic Pools sold me, since motor does not come with one, was defective and not the pump itself. The pump is now running great but it was the company's obligation to stand behind their product and not supportive. If I could give the service department at the Walden location a zero I would , when I booked the appointment to open our pool they lady told me they would give us a quick run down on how to work the pool seeing we just bought the house , they came and left within 15 mins ,left 2 plugs in and put 3 bags of shock and 2 small bottles of clarifier in ( which it should of been at least 4 bags with the amount of green ) and it's been a week and 500 dollars later in more chemicals and our pool is still not swim able , I called the office and was told the service manger would call me or call him at 7 am so of course we had to call the manger George ,he was rude and asked me what he is suppose to do ? He is the manger so I'm almost certain he is suppose to tell me what he is going to do to rectify the problems ,I was so annoyed by him and told him I'd have my husband call him back and he would not answer the phone . Extremely poor customer service! Thank goodness I cancelled my spa order as their customer service was horrific! I purchased a spa on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the Hamburg Fairgrounds. Bad move on my part! I cancelled the order on Monday, May 20, 2019 due to my gut feeling about this transaction and this business. Everyone who answered the phone on Monday said I needed to talk to "Tim, the owner's son". I called numerous times on Monday and Tuesday but he was not available but I reiterated that I wanted to cancel my order. They said okay! On Thursday, May 23, 2019 my check was cashed even though I cancelled within the 3 given days per my contract. I called numerous times again being told I needed to speak with "Tim, the owner's son". He wouldn't take my calls. Finally I called from a different phone (not sure if they have caller ID), change my name and change the reason for my call to finally get "Tim, the owner's son" on the phone. He was very rude!! He said accounting had to clear matters up but he was the one to deposit by check per his own words (hmmmm but accounting has to clear matters but they weren't the ones to cash my check he was)! ZERO stars would be the most appropriate rating here. They will NOT stand by their product, which in our experience has been bad from the installation. Rick Struck, the manager, was the most arrogant, rude, condensing person I have ever spoken to in a business scenario. He informed me that customers have "been lying to him for years" and then proceeded to assume that I was not being truthful about the issues we have been experiencing. He told me that me writing a negative review "wouldn't matter because we are already booked solid for pools for the next two years". Rick also then told me that I "have 10 seconds to finish this conversation before he ends it". At the end of the day, the product is not good, the service is disorganized and not always timely (last year we were told we needed to wait almost three months for service), and the managers are horrifically rude, biased, and unreasonable. If this review can save just one person from getting a pool from them, at least these experiences would do some good. read more

After using Colley's for a number of years to open our inground pool, we tried Majestic Pools & Spas. The technician that arrived was pleasant but after he left it was obvious he didn't know how to open our particular pool. We had multiple plugs still left in along the wall and drains, and staiway jets were improperly installed. I called to complain and I was told, "We understand and we will take care of it." Four months later, we receive a bill showing late changes. I call again and explain what happened. Again I was told, ""We understand and we will take care of it." Unfortunately, now three months later - they have turned us over to collections. In total, that makes one bill and two phone calls only to be lied to that they would take care of it - and then drop it into collections. Great! So much for a company standing behind the services they provide. Now I get to spend my time and credit rating fighting it. At the time of this writing, the BBB shows that they have had 18 complaints logged against them. I should have been wiser to check there or another online service before using them. Buyer beware! My husband and I purchased a hot tub on August 15, 2018. Our contract stated the hot tub purchased was in stock in the warehouse. Our deposit check was cashed with haste, but multiple phone calls with messages left and no call backs made us very frustrated. Our tub needed to be manufactured, which if we were aware of that fact from the purchase would have alleviated our frustration. The hot tub was delivered on September 25th with start up on Sept. 29th. The delivery team and set up personnel were exceptional. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. We had to call more than 30 times in 4-6 weeks and our issues still aren't resolved. Calls are rarely, if ever, returned. More than half of the people we have spoken to on the phone when we finally are able to talk to someone are completely rude. We have wasted hundreds of dollars waiting for our liner to be repaired after incorrect installation. Summer is almost over and we haven't even been able to enjoy our pool. They have the WORST service department ever. We bought a hot tub from them...big mistake. There was a bad pump immediately and it took days to get someone to fix it. Now we have a leak....their response was...they are really busy and maybe we should try and fix it ourselves....they could give us phone support. It is still under warranty! They finally came....2 bad pumps...replaced the one they had with them and came back the next day with the other one. They told us we were all set. Started filling the tub and water is now pouring out of it. Again we called...they never answer the phones at service dept. Finally got through and they said "they are busy" and we should hear from someone on Tuesday. So frustrating. We bought from them so we could have a service dept available. We put in an inground pool this summer. We were very impressed with the owners expertise, knowledge and willingness to help us through the process. Everything went incredibly smoothly and we are left with a gorgeous salt water pool. We took all recommendations from Majestic regarding the concrete company and the fence company (Creative Fence). We are very new to maintaining a pool and their service team has been incredibly helpful. The only thing I would complain about is that they did not manage our expectations accurately regarding the timeline. They started 3 weeks after expected, but I guess that's pretty common for contractors and this type of work. read more
