My friend ordered a Poutine Burger on Skip and was craving it so we went to check it out. Restaurant is clean. Service was good. I had just the classic burger with cheese, tasty. My daughter got the Butter Chicken Poutine which was very good. My friend got the Poutine Burger which is NOT on the menu in the restaurant but they made it. He had to ask for extra gravy as there wasn't much on it. It was good but next time I'm trying the Butter Chicken burger. Drove by this place last weekend and made it a point to stop by and try out their fried chicken. Major Joy blends everyone's favourite comfort food with dry rubs and sauces that can take your craving to the next level. With flavours like tandoori, lemon pepper, and major hot... it was difficult to decide which flavours I would try in my four piece meal. I ultimately chose the original flavour to get a sense of what the chicken tastes like and a couple pieces of tandoori, cuz I friggin' love tandoori. The chicken itself was moist and flavourful. The pieces weren't very big, but acceptable in size. The original batter was crunchy, but definitely could use something else to make it better. That's where the dry rub of tandoori seasoning came in. The mix of spices went really well with the crunch of the batter and juicy chicken. Conclusion? You don't have to go with the big chains for some decent fried chicken in Surrey. Major Joy is a legit option and I'm going to have to try their butter chicken poutine and chicken sandwiches next time! read more

We stopped by for lunch. We decided to order a four piece chicken major combo with 2 pieces of original chicken and 2 pieces of fresh chilli mint chicken. The major combo included two sides so we picked fries and lime chilli corn. We added a mango shake too. Chicken pieces were on the smaller side compared to other similar restaurants. It was made fresh and arrived piping hot. We had to study the chicken pieces to tell the difference between the two flavours. The flavour difference was subtle and I found the corn to be more spicy than the fresh chilli mint chicken. I was expecting more of a spicy heat with 2 chilli peppers. Fries were decent. The mango shake was the highlight for me. It was one of the better mango beverages I have tried recently and taste like fresh mangos. The restaurant could be cleaner. I wiped down my table myself. It would benefit if staff cleaned tables regularly. I used the restroom to wash my hands after eating and it needed a good cleaning too. Good thing I used the restroom after my meal because I do not think I would have wanted to eat if I stopped by there beforehand. read more

Chicken is actually mediocre but fries and shakes are amazing. Went with a friend and we both got the Nashville hot since we both love spice and can handle more than most people. What we got was extremely oily and tough from being over cooked chicken. No real spice kick or heat either. They also didn't say they had light and dark meat and just threw in a chunk of dark meat into mine so overcooked it actually hurt my jaw. My friend ended up getting the runs and puking from the amount of just oil they served and coated the chicken in (was like each sandwhich had 4 cups of orange dyed canola). Mango shakes were amazing too but while my friend got fresh the mango chunks in mine were sour instead of sweet If you're looking for quality chicken for a good price expect half decent at double the cost, but amazing fresh made house fries that match up to any pub. read more

Hidden gem in surrey, absolutely love their vegetarian options. The butter no chicken poutine is delicious & i LOVE the spicy veggie burger. Great quality & service has been pretty good. I had an issue one time with the food quality, and incorrect order however they were willing to fix the problem and compensate me for my time. Love this play, definitely try the food! We got major joy from eating the food from here lol. We ordered delivery and got spicy chicken, butter chicken poutine, corn and kulfi shake. We were a bit skeptical about ordering poutine as the place was a bit far from our house we were concerned that the fries will get soggy by the time the delivery reaches our house but were very surprised that the fries were still crispy. Also the butter chicken curry on the poutine was so buttery tasting, maybe not the best for heart but was delicious. The fried chicken though not spicy but was very flavourful. Got about half way through the burger and took another bit and as I was chewing I felt something solid, I thought it might be a chicken bone piece, took it out and it was a STAPLE. Called them and told them what happened and they gave me an insincere apology and offered me a coupon. If a foreign object that has no business in a kitchen can fall into food unnoticed or undetected that's typically a sign of bad quality control in and around the kitchen and I would avoid this place at all costs. read more

Fried chicken with healthy options??! That's correct. The milkshakes are made of CANE SUGAR- believe it or not. Tried kulfi abs mango both were amazing. Tried some flavoured chicken at this brand new restaurant near bear creek park. They had a wide variety of flavours that you won't find anywhere else. The choice of sauces on the side take the chicken to the next level. Also I have tried the mango and kulfi cream milkshakes and they were simply amazing.
