We had our house painted in 2020. They used regular house paint on the metal front door and garage door. The garage door started flaking off and bubbling up. They repainted with the same paint. Year 4 both the front door and garage door have bubbled up and flaked off. For a metal door they should have used primer to make the paint stick well. Not worth the money if we have to repaint again within 4 years. Horrible! Not worth the money!!! read more

We contacted MLP because our contractor painted our house in the winter of 2018 while it was snowing, house was half way built. Our contractor used 3 different colors to try and make the colors match before we moved in, nothing they did worked. June 2021 we hired MLP, Daniel the owner arrived and accessed the job, quoted us a price and put us on his schedule. When the crew arrived, they power washed the house, then they started chalking everything that needed to be chalked. Daniel stayed in touch until the final day, Daniel arrived and we did a walk through, 100% complete. The crew made sure everything was complete before Daniel arrived. Be advised. This company will not purchase paint for your project if you want to have it warranted for more than two years. If you want paint with a warranty for more than two years, you will have to handle the paint situation on your own. According to the MLP representative (Dan), you handle buying the paint, type, color, quantity, etc., and then the paint company representative (for example Sherwin Williams) will need to visit the project site 3 to 4 times to inspect the project in order for the warranty to be valid. Owner has a serious ego and thinks all his work has no fault. And for $$k we thought the job would be perfect. We were seriously wrong. Paint everywhere after they were done, no attention to detail and painted our trim quickly with a roller and had paint bleeding on all sides. Had an appointment at 8:45-9, called at 9:10 to be sure we hadn't misunderstood, and he said he would be here in 2 minutes. Because my husband and I have been sick, I asked him if he would wear a mask for his protection ( I had one on), and he stormed off saying he wasn't going to wear a mask and he wasn't the contractor for us. read more

I drove all the way From Phoenix to get an estimate from this company. I was promised an estimate the next business day. When I did not receive it I figured it was the week before the holiday so I gave them a whole extra week Before calling again. I called again, left my information and still no message a week later....very disappointing. After the amazing service I received from Major League Painting, I felt compelled to write a review to recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable painting company who is committed to service. I do not generally write reviews for home services, but this is the first time I felt I should, as this company is so deserving. The home needed so much attention, I wasn't sure if any painting contractor would be able to bring this house back to looking decent again. On a reliable recommendation, I selected this company and was beyond pleased with the transformation of this house. It needed beyond what the average painting contractor would do. The crew that was sent to prep the house went above and beyond anything we have ever seen. In our many years of hiring painting contractors, we had never seen every step of the prep work carried through to the detail and quality of work our house received from this company. The workers were ready to work hard to do all the necessary steps beyond only the power washing, but of sanding, scraping, peeling of paint,etc. that had never been done on this house prior to this time; although all work on this home had been done previously by professional painting contractors. Manuel, the supervising crew member, directed his crew efficiently in what had to be done in the prep. work. All workers were friendly and accommodating; it was evident they wanted to do their job well. We are convinced the painting of a home is only as good as the prep work, prior to application of the paint. This step was carried out in an excellent manner, being attentive to detail and a quality outcome. The application of the paint was done perfectly as well, with no short cuts or diluted paint. From our experience with previous painting contractors, this time we were especially looking for the application of the correct amount of paint to allow for many years of wear. We believe this is a key step for ensuring protection from UV rays and the harsh winters we have in Flagstaff. Most importantly, the owner, Daniel, was particularly committed to customer service and was very honest in his bid on the house as well as areas that needed additional attention and new wood. He also apprised us of additional carpentry in the future, but was attentive enough to use wood screws in areas that needed it. If there was anything that we wanted done, the philosophy of the owner and his company is that when the job is completed, he is committed to having pleased clients. This is a rare philosophy and one we value, but seldom see. I know for a certainty, if something does not look quite right to the client, he will happily attend to it, to meet their expectations. I will most certainly use this company in the future, as well as recommend it to others looking for a quality painting contractor. I usually don't bother to write reviews, but in this case I will make an exception because I believe Major League Painting deserves serious accolades. They did a superb job repainting the exterior of our home in Flagstaff. I have used other painters in Flagstaff and each time was disappointed, but MLP not only met my expectations, but well exceeded them. Their attention to detail and prep work was terrific. It was easy to work with both the owner (Dan) and the crew chief (Pedro) and both made helpful suggestions and provided excellent follow-up. The crew members were wonderful and took great pride in their work and workmanship. When they were done, their cleanup was excellent and they even replaced out outdoor furniture exactly where it had been. They took great care not to damage the landscaping, and even our window cleaners (who came to wash our windows after they were done) commented on how little paint was on the windows. Our house looks great and the bill was exactly as quoted, and totally reasonable for the high standard of workmanship. Highly recommended. read more
