The boat was very clean and probably the nicest boat here in Lihue. Caught a huge 250lb marlin and what an experience. I will absolutely go out with them again when we come back. We caught 2 yellowfin tuna's, a small Aku, and a Wahoo. I just wish we could have been given first choice, of the fish (or a part of) we would have taken home. Instead we was given the Aku, piece of yellow fin, and a very small piece (the tail part) of the Wahoo (my first choice) although we knew we was going to share the catch. Captain Grant and Mana were excellent guides on our trip and were informative on not just fishing but any of the questions we had about Kauai. Including my wife and I, our 13 and 11 year old boys went with us. They had a great time and learned a bunch. I had never been deep sea fishing in Hawaii before and the trip was worth it. While the biting was slow early, Captain Grant and Mana didn't give up and by the end our trip we were able to snag a 20 lbs. Ono. Biggest fish my boys or I have caught to date and wish we could have taken some to eat but our hotel had no where to cook it. However, the fish was a great experience and if we get the chance to go back to Kauai and Captain Grant is still guiding tours, we would definitely return to his boat. Also a side note, Fisher was awesome to meet.

My youngest brother wanted to go out on a boat to fish. I asked around which is the best recommended by the locals. So my coworker told me about Abegee. Ehukai did not disappoint. My brothers and I enjoyed our fishing trip. Captain Abegee was friendly, very easy going and real cool He even gave us an extra hour or two of fishing time since our luck wasn't so good. Guess what? I caught a Ulua and my brother caught a blue strip Ulua as well.. it was fun and we had the boat all to ourselves. I will be definitely be booking another fishing trip with Ehukai Fishing!!
