My brother had been out of contact from our family almost 30 years - and we thought him lost to his…read moreaddiction. Through a miracle only God could orchestrate so beautifully, we've been reunited! His story is one of deep addiction and truly hitting rock bottom - waiting to die one night in the cold on a Spokane park bench. Being turned away from some homeless outreach agencies because he didn't even have ID any more. At what may have been a last try to get help, he was directed to Truth Ministries and THEY TOOK HIM IN. Probably one of the sorriest sights they'd ever seen, nothing to his name - without ID, virtually not even his name. They gave him a chance for a hand-up and he took it with both hands. Article in the Spokesman Review 10-1-13 (still online) documents him saying "This place really did save my life". T.M., I hope you read this - he went on to marry, have a steady job, live in a decent home, and best of all (in my view) my brother seemingly came back from the dead - straight, sober, and welcomed back to the family with open arms. Five Stars is a good steak - saving a life? Priceless. Thank you so much!!!!!! Praise God!
