The design is very modern and contemporary compared to the original house across the street, which has more of a mountain cabin feel. The new building feels like a Courtyard by Marriott. The rooms are large and well-designed, with electronic key-fob locks, and the beds (with tempurpedic mattresses) are very comfortable. The kitchen areas are shared, and residents are expected to clean up after themselves, including loading/emptying the dishwasher. The kitchens are well equipped with appliances as well as brand new microwave ovens, refrigerators, and electric stove/ovens. RMH provides free Keurig coffee, milk, snacks and various food items. The staff is very helpful, welcoming, and friendly. There is several community/shared living areas with big flat screen TVs, couches, games for kids, etc. Some areas have been closed off due to COVID. There are self-serve laundry facilities that automatically dispense detergent, so you don't need to bring/buy any. Linens (sheets, towels) are provided, and you are welcome to change them out for new ones as often as you'd like. Outdoors there are play areas for kids, as well as a large patio area with BBQ's and tables for outdoor cooking/dining.
