I am so very happy that I found Taylor, from Make Me Blush, for various reasons. She is incredibly professional, talented, and sweet as can be. I have 2 reviews to write for Taylor, and both are 5++ Stars! 1. I had my eyebrows microbladed by Taylor. I was initially pretty nervous about getting them done, and Taylor was wonderful at explaining the process, the treatment, and what to expect during and after the treatment. I think it is so important when having these types of treatments done that the artist communicates and manages client expectations, and Taylor did exactly that. I absolutely loved how my eyebrows turned out! Taylor is extremely sweet and talented. She made sure that my eyebrows were exactly how I had wanted/envisioned them, after initial and final touch ups, and I couldn't be happier. 2. Taylor had also come highly recommended for her makeup artistry. When I went to her for mircoblading, I also inquired about my bridal makeup trial and her availability for my wedding date a few months down the line. Taylor did my bridal makeup trial, which was also on the same day as my engagement photo shoot. She did such an amazing job and there was no question that I would definitely use her as my makeup artist for my wedding! Taylor did the makeup for myself and for 6 of my bridesmaids and we all loved how our makeup came out. Taylor did exactly what each of my bridesmaids had requested and envisioned. They were all very happy with how their makeup turned out, and that can be difficult for a group of 6 ladies with different preferences! And my makeup came out just perfect. Taylor listened to my requests and made sure that I was happy. You can just tell that she loves her job and her talent is very admirable. My makeup and bridesmaids makeup lasted all day and night long! Also, something I would like to note is that Taylor makes her bridal/bridal party services affordable and she is upfront with all costs. This was something that also drew me to her and something that I respect a lot about her. Taylor is such a fun person to talk to and she makes sure that you feel comfortable. I have enjoyed every appointment I have had with Taylor and it is a joy chatting with her. Taylor was so sweet and professional right from the start. She gave me all the information I needed and provided many pictures for me to peruse to get a feel for her work. She brings a comfy chair and all the make up a girl could want for a beautiful face! I had never had a make up artist so I just started contacting them from the site, but I kept getting "minimum of 4" or "minimum of 3"... it was only me! I had just my grandkids in my wedding party and they were 6 years and under-no make up necessary! I was so relieved and thrilled when Taylor said she would come just for me! To My site, for My face, at My time... and for a very reasonable price! She made me feel like a celebrity... such a great feeling! I am an older bride and did not want to look "overdone" or "theatrical" or look like I was trying to look too young for my age... she totally understood my needs and made me feel completely at ease. Taylor asked me all along as she applied my make up which shades, more or less, let me look at it and tell her any time to change direction or keep going... it was such a cool experience! It was a wonderful thing after all the stress and running around that last day before "the big day" to just sit in a comfortable chair, be completely relaxed and get thoroughly pampered.. amazing! I haven't gotten my photographer's photos yet, but all the Facebook posts from friends and family look fabulous! Thank you Taylor for helping me look my very best on my very special day. I will never forget how special and important you made me feel. Your artistry fed my self esteem enough to give me the courage to face a huge audience with confidence. Taylor was absolutely amazing! I never wear makeup as well as any of my bridesmaids so we wanted an all natural look and she succeeded perfectly! I hired Taylor for my wedding on 4/14/18. Living in Austin, Texas, I originally came to San Diego for a trial with another company 5 months ahead. Not only was the other company very expensive, I didn't feel like myself with the final product. Getting closer to my wedding date, I was nervous to find someone available and affordable for my entire wedding party. Thankfully, I was referred to Taylor. I was immediately drawn to her website. When I found out she was available on my date, I made a trial appointment. I left the trial not only looking like myself, but the best version of myself. Specifically, I was extremely impressed with her air brush technique. I struggle with melasma on my face and she was able to completely remove any trace of it. Additionally, I really liked how she filled out my eyebrows and made them look full. I ended up hiring her for myself, my mom, mother-in-law and all my bridesmaids. Taylor arrived prompt on my wedding day and was very quick and thorough with each girl. Everyone looked stunning and our makeup looked fresh the entire day! I found Taylor on Instagram as I was looking for a makeup artist to match my wedding vibe; I kept stumbling on her work and knew she was the one! Taylor was on time and has some mad makeup skills (and those BROWS!). We had an initial make up trial and when I started having second thoughts on what we decided on, she heard me out the morning of my wedding and 100% nailed it! She did such an amazing job listening to each of my girls (there were 9 of us!) and making everyone feel like they had their own "look" but still feel super cohesive.
