She was prompt, professional, and always willing to answer my questions, guiding me in the right direction every step of the way. Our Event Specialist, Lindsay, went above and beyond in ways I could never have imagined. She was consistently attentive, always quick to respond to my calls and emails, and present at every meeting to ensure each detail was exactly as we envisioned. On the big day, Lindsay worked tirelessly behind the scenes, ensuring everything ran smoothly and seamlessly. Her genuine care and commitment were evident, and they truly made our day absolutely perfect. I cannot thank my wedding attendant, Calla, enough. She was by my side every single moment, offering unwavering support, guidance, and a calming presence. I genuinely felt as though I was in the best hands with her, knowing she was there to ensure every detail was just right. Calla became more than an attendant--she felt like a friend throughout the day. Michelle, the manager, was exceptional on our wedding day. She was so attentive and thoughtful, taking extra care to ensure that my family, friends, and I felt comfortable and well looked after. Her kindness and attentiveness to everyone's needs made the day even more special. The food was nothing short of phenomenal. Our guests are still raving about it, with many saying it was the best wedding meal they've ever had. From start to finish, every aspect of the meal was timed perfectly, and the dishes were executed to perfection. Bravo to the Chef and the culinary team! The entire staff at Wychmere was equally outstanding--so warm, caring, and attentive to both my husband and I and most importantly our family and friends.Their efforts to ensure that everyone felt welcome and taken care of did not go unnoticed. Their thoughtfulness and dedication elevated our wedding day and made it truly unforgettable. While Wychmere Beach Club is, of course, an absolutely stunning venue, it is the royal treatment and warm, personalized experience provided by the managers and staff that truly make it the best. I am so incredibly grateful for everything they did to make our day come together flawlessly. Thank you to the Wychmere team!

She never missed a beat, caring for all her tables without having to think twice about what she was doing. Like she was born to do this! (oh, hell, no...nobody should ever say that. Aim higher! Ruby was a doll, she has a gorgeous smile, big, beautiful eyes and was just so friendly and accommodating to her patrons. I started with a Mango Lemonade Spritzer...so light and refreshing. Dave had a light beer or two. We split a huge Caesar salad, anchovies on the side, please. I ate a few, Dave stuck out his tongue! Our entrees looked amazing! Mine was the bRaised Short Ribs over garlic mashed with fresh green beans (undercooked, but okay by me). Dave had the Scallop & Butternut Squash casserole. He did not like the balsamic glaze on top but ate around it and cleaned the plate. My short ribs were fork tender and the gravy was superb. I took half home and will be my lunch in a few minutes! No desserts as we were like overstuffed sausages when we left. Very nice place for a good meal with great staff, attention to detail and patrons needs. I never had to ask for anything...Ruby knew what was needed and brought it without delay. WE will most definitely be back!

Second, the innkeepers themselves are very friendly and accommodating. Marco, Angelo and Steffi are delights to be around and talk to. They are more than willing to share their insights into activities on the Cape and places to visit. They are fonts of knowledge. As well as fun to talk to. Third the breakfasts are exceptional. Angelo is the master chef behind a varied and healthy breakfast. It was a treat each morning we stayed. A fruit course followed by the main breakfast. Fourth, speaking of treats. Each afternoon a small box labeled with our names with a bake good of some sort was waiting for us in the inn. They were delicious and much looked forward to. Fifth, the sleeping room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and a small but adequate bathroom. We had access to an outdoor veranda/porch sitting area, which we took advantage of each day. This small inn is a real treasure in Brewster. I highly recommend it.

The Dennis Inn - Clam bake rehearsal dinner

My review is based on an event my husband and I attended at the Dennis Inn last week…read more We were invited to a pre-wedding dinner. The groom was the son of my lifelong friend who had passed away, and so it was very important for us to attend. Our issue was that my husband is in a wheelchair, and I didn't know if the Inn would be accessible. A few weeks before the event, I emailed the Inn to find out if my husband would be able to get to the dinner. A very nice person called me and assured me that they would make sure my husband could get to the dinner. He told me the Inn isn't necessarily accessible, but that they would make it happen. He then sent a text to the chef and the manager, and copied me on the text. I replied to that text when we were about to leave our hotel to head to Dennis. When we arrived, Chef Tom was waiting for us in the parking lot. He was nice as could be, and wheeled my husband through the kitchen and into the dining room. He situated us at a table, and though the dinner was buffet-style, he asked what we wanted and served us. The dinner was spectacular. We each had a whole lobster, and on our plates, were clams, sausage, potatoes, and there was a side of cornbread. Everything was absolutely delicious. There may have been dessert, but we were so full, I didn't look for it. When we were ready to leave, Chef Tom wheeled my husband back to the car. He was so kind and pleasant - it was a wonderful experience. These folks made the difference in our being able to attend the dinner or not and we are extremely grateful to them.

Having come from out of town and with lots to do we showed up at 9:30 rather than 9 AM. There was no one at the Inn to greet us and the venue was locked down. In their defense they had just replaced the screen door and thought that they had left it open for us. We waiting with building anxiety with 50 goodie bags, favors, programs and other assorted wedding decorations to set up in slightly more than an hour. The hair and makeup artists were to begin at 11:15. We were in a hot panic. The newly refurbished suite is charming, elegant and updated. It was a wonderful spot for photos and finding a zen moment when necessary. It was fresh, clean, and new. The staff is great if not overly apologetic for the oversight. I expected a bit more after the lockout from Fred who seemed inconvenienced by our anxiety as he threw a "We do this all the time" over his shoulder seemingly inferring that we were a bunch of hysterical ladies. Thanks to Susan and Irina they picked up where we left off, decorating and it did all come together to be an almost perfect event at a relatively affordable price. I will say that no one even mentioned to me the change of hands after my meeting with Brad in the fall. I had to google to find a news article after noticing certain changes on the website. Communication was often a bit spotty, but they did work with our guests, particularly the ones who had severe allergies. That was 5 star worthy. We had rave reviews from our guests regarding the Cape Cod Clambake and the catered barbecue rehearsal dinner. People were even asking Fred for his recipes. The setting truly is gorgeous. We had a bunny that lingered on the lawn while the ceremony took place and wild turkeys with babies trotted by as we celebrated in the tent at dinner. I would definitely choose the place again but if I did I would emphasize that I would be arriving between 9-10 rather than at 9. I suppose that if I had, I might have prevented some of the anxiety myself. For future brides, be clear about your plan with each of your vendors and hopefully it will save you a bit of heartache.
