Honestly, my family is still raving about this restaurant! I'm shocked it doesn't have a higher rating overall because it was 5 star service for sure and with a view! The calamari app was delicious. We loved our bottle of white wine to share. Our server was attentive and the other wait staff was great. Note: this was also an early dinner reservation for 5:00PM and I would go at that time again! We always go to Pelham house when we visit Cape Cod. This visit was good. We started with the clam chowder and the crab cake. They were good. For mains we had fish and chips and the steak. The fish and chips were amazing but the steak was just okay. I would also like to give everyone a tip about seating. We waited to get a table by the window. We took a regular height table but didn't realize that there is a white metal strip that goes around the middle of the window. It's exactly at eye level so it blocks your view of the ocean. I'd recommend getting a high top near the window to make the most of your view. Then you'd be able to see the ocean. read more

We ended up here after we tried another restaurant that was booked with a wedding and were told that this was a great spot to try and it was! Had a wonderful brunch here today. I got the Hash with eggs and it was fantastic. Service was outstanding as well and prices were in line with other Cape Restaurants. This was a wonderful experience! Went for an early dinner with my friend we and sat in the room overlooking the water. The service was great and the food was fabulous! I got a small beet salad and calamari and my friend had scallops. Everything was delicious, the beet salad was big enough for the 2 of us as was the calamari. We sat and looked out at the most incredible view, enjoyed everything and never felt rushed ! I definitely would recommend this for any special occasion or just a cocktail with a small plate! Service: Very good, we were seated quickly without a reservation although would recommend a reservation during peak season/hours as it was busy. Our server was very good, the runner was definitely a new seasonal worker and got tables mixed up a few times. Food: Very good, we really enjoyed everything we got. The menu features sushi, poke bowls, and flatbreads in addition to more varied appetizers. Crispy smashed potatoes - perfectly crispy and and served with tasty sauces, ample portion. Firecracker roll - a delicious cucumber wrapped, rice-less sushi, exceeded expectations Shrimp ceviche - very good, expected a bit more citrus flavor, was a bit spicy, overall delicious. I had looked at their website to learn they also had a guitar singer by the pool, so we planned to do that after. Turned out an excellent plan. The Pelham Rooftop is spectacular. Incredible Nantucket Sound views and very modern design. My friend and I had thought ahead of time we'd share small plates. We did order to share one lobster roll warm with butter. Of course yum. The server recommended the asparagus frites which were delicious and enough for four. Great way to get your veggies. Their wine list is large and we liked starting with their special margarita. We then went to the pool to listen to a performer. He was fantastic, singing Jimmy Buffet and Paul Simon and more. Fire pits there and some folks were having dinner at tables. I love to concoct cocktails so I asked the bartender to make me something not on the menu. A fig bourbon Manhattan. She nailed it. I had charred Cara Cara oranges with roasted beats, pomegranate and pistachio with the creamiest burrata cheese and toasted bread for dipping in the balsamic glaze. Delicious. Went to the rooftop for a New Year's Eve dinner. The atmosphere was very festive with snowflake shaped lights hanging from the ceiling and lighted trees. The food was fabulous and the presentation of the cod dish I ordered was very creative. Our server Ashley was excellent! With it being a very busy night we never felt rushed. Today my wife and I had lunch at the Pelham House Rooftop Restaurant...a million dollar view and a restaurant experience we wouldn't give two cents for...without going into particulars, suffice it to say, every food selection we made was delivered to the table cold...in my opinion the food sat in the kitchen way too long before it was brought to the table and served. Our waitress, who was polite enough, frankly didn't have "it"; and should probably consider some other employment endeavor. Oh, and did I mention lunch took 1 hour 45 minutes...all in all, very painful...what a colossal waste of scenery. This is a review of "Rooftop", one of the dining options at Pelham House Resort. There are two other dining options at this property. The resort itself is beautiful and the rooftop room and view are spectacular. As others have mentioned, the service is casual, and food is more pub like but prices are closer to fine dining. When you have a great view and beautiful room on the Cape, that might be expected. I think it is helpful to go in with that understanding so that you are not underwhelmed with the food. The menu is a bit all over the place with burgers, lobster rolls, giant pork chops and steaks as well as meatballs. We had a focaccia appetizer with a cauliflower spread that was actually tasty, perhaps the best food of the evening. Some in our dinner party had the warm buttered lobster rolls which were completely underwhelming. I was a bit full and had the "meatballs for two" appetizer. It was massive, three large meatballs, almost the size of softballs, but they were quite hard and just not that good. The plate was enhanced by Ricotta cheese and a nice marinara sauce, but also an odd green sauce (not pesto). It just didn't hit with me. Service was friendly and efficient, and again a beautiful spot. If we visit again, we might try the less formal "Waves" option for drinks and perhaps a small bite read more

So sadly we were disappointed in our stay here. It was our first time here and I'll start by saying we were completely aware of the weekend wedding buy out days (you can't use the beach or lawn areas overlooking ocean fri to Sun) So we stayed during the week to avoid this. View is beautiful and hotel was nice. However our first day we were told the restaurants were reserved for rehearsal dinners, which included all lawn areas -fine no biggie. But then the following day we were told we couldn't use the pool because it was reserved for a wedding welcome party. I just feel like they should advertise as wedding venue because basically if you're not a wedding guest you aren't getting any satisfaction or be allowed to use their amenities. And for $600-700/night in the summer I'd rather just go somewhere else. We were really bummed read more

Rooftop is a really cool place for dinner. Ocean views and atmosphere on the enclosed deck are what makes this restaurant a gem. We had the mac n cheese and haddock, which were both very good. Drinks are also delicious. Our server was friendly and efficient. We were there on a Sunday and it was packed, so recommend reservations. Stayed here during the week on the off season and had a great time. The ocean view room was big enough for 3 adults and a toddler. The room came in at about 330/night which was expensive, but reasonable for the quality of the location and private beach access. It was also very clean and modern. I definitely recommend this location for romantic getaways. Besides the beach there's not too much to do for children. I had minor issues with my stay. The biggest issue was the parking. The parking lot has a separate area for hotel guests only. You have to place a pass in your window to park there. This doesn't appear to be enforced at all. The restaurant was quite busy so half of the spaces were taken up by patrons of the restaurant. The stalls are also unusually small which encourages entitled rich people to double-park while they eat. At least 4 stalls were blocked from double-parking. read more
